I think by my last research, Brigadier-General Ihejirika is the best Chief of Army Staff since Nigeria's Independence I wonder why some morons are trying so hard to drag his name in the mud!

Why are ibos this way? Which research are you talking about? All what we are interested in is the owner of the building. Nonsense.

You are in the best position to acknowledge the positive changes. Visit Port-Harcourt again this year and you'll be surprised. The only bad thing in Port-Harcourt is the East-West Road. You'll notice the changes once you emerge from the Airport and meet the new roundabout, the new Stadium, The new games village, New flyover and well paved roads. The reason people are writing thrash here is because Amaechi has not taken out time to take pictures of his achievements and display on the net like some other Governors and 2ndly, he has not marked most of the completed road projects.

Good BLESS YOU.

A lot of Countries are "Lumped" together in similar fashion as Nigeria, yet have moved Forward (Switzerland(French,Swiss, Italians, Germans), Canada(French & Brits), Tanzania(Arabs, Zanzibari, etc), India(Hindi,Tamil,Muslims,Punjabi, etc),Ghana(Ashante & Fante amalgamation),Kenya(Kalenjin, Oromo, Massai, etc),South Africa(White, Blacks, Indians)
It is Only in Nigeria that we Attribute Collective failure to Amalgamation and I find it quite abhorrent that instead of accepting responsibility,we choose to trade blames!

Is Amalgamation responsible for the Failure of T.A Orji's Administration? (I've been to Abia several times)

Is Almagamation responsible for the Dismal Performance of My Governor?

Is Amalgamation responsible for Poverty in the North?

Goodluck Jonathan is at the Helm of Affairs and He is a Southerner, He has Every Opportunity to Entrench TRUE FEDERALISM which we all seek if he is passionate about it!

But Hey! 6yrs into his Government, The North is still Messed Up(Not His Fault Though), The East still complains of Marginalization, The Niger Delta's still the most Polluted Place in the World!

Only the SouthWest and a Few Governors in the North, and SS have been able to Deliver to their People!

Rubbish!!

Tell the fool to show us one picture of Jonathan's achievement in his nearly 3 years in Bayelsa. I dare anyone to show me a single picture of Jonathan commissioning mini borehole water tank, when he was Bayelsa state governor.

Onlytruth: Here we go again. undecided

Reasonable Nigerians call for soveriegn national conference to discuss Nigeria's basis of existence.
A northerner threatens war to frighten some southerners.
Igbo man calls his bluff.
Some so called minority people rushes to defend the northerner.
The issues remain undiscussed and the nation stays stagnant.

What makes current situation totally senseless is that we have a "minority" president from "SS", and the nation's current violence in the north is principally because of this fact.
Pray, how can ANY rational "minority" human being even remotely align with the same people that see him as second class citizen, someone not fit to be president of this country?
This is why I still don't buy the current setup that dumps Edo people (and some delta people) into "SS", because they are not really "SS". Some of them are even northerners (muslims), so how can they speak for "SS".
In my book, "SS" is Akwa Ibom, Cross rivers, Rivers, Bayelsa and tiny parts of Delta.
I bet you that if Jonathan were from Edo state or even Delta state, some of these so called "SS" people from that area will not be indirectly supporting a northerner threatening war on the rest of us just because we want Nigeria negotiated and founded properly.

As for Igbo needing other people to stand in independence, only a deluded fool would think that.
An Igbo only nation will be world beaters any day. cool

I didn't just compare Rwanda to Rivers State. I actually compared the last 6 years between Rivers($20 Billion Budgets, 6Million People) and Rwanda($7 Billion, 11 Million People) and the use of resources in that period. If you want me to compare Nigeria in the Last decade with South Africa in the last decade I will do that for you and you'll be beyond shocked that Nigeria has actually recorded greater economic improvements than South Africa. But in all, lets stop defending the indefensible. Nigeria is a wasteful country with pathetic leaders who go around fighting battles that have no bearing on us and we jump from place to place supporting their stupidity while small countries like Rwanda are positioning their country for the future. Amaechi has spent so much of Rivers peoples money fighting a battle that has no bearing for the people of Rivers State.

So all the photos of Kagali you posted was built within last six years? can you just shut the fuccck up? you think we'll blindly forget you are on Jonathan's payroll? you think we'll just forget that you decided to start this thread after amaechi indicts Jonathan of not doing anything to south south? you think we don't know that you started this thread after amaechi CALLED out your thieving boss? No hope for dis country @ all

Is Jonathan not a thief? what was his achievements in his almost 3 years governing Bayelsa state? Can you now compare Jonathan's 3 years as Bayelsa state governor with Amaechi's almost 3 years second tenure? Was the foolish op not part of those paid to criticize Fashola on nairaland? Does the FOOLISH op thought a mere praise of fashola, a hysterical one would make sensible folks not to see through his shredded lying mask? Those of us living in rivers can testify that amaechi is the best governor to EVER ruled this state. We know the terrain and cost of constructing roads here, we appreciate the peace and clear developments and changes coming to this state, we know public schools in rivers state are the best in Africa courtesy of amaechi; we know locations to Agip junction cost x 10 of what the actual cost supposed to be, due to demolition and compensation. We saw amaechi pulling 6 storeys building, several mansions and world class homes and fully compensated just to construct roads. We saw what PH - Owerre road was before amaechi took over, we saw what mile4 - mile 1 road used to be no go area before amaechi became the governor, we saw the state of the hospitals and health centres across the sate was before amaechi came in. Iwofe road, Okporo road, Woji extension road used to be dead end before amaechi took over.

WHAT has Peter Odili, Amaechi predecessor done with trillion of naira he received to develop the state? Is he not part of those going to Aso Rock to support Jonathan? Why wasn't Peter Odili jailed?

Why can't you guys compare a more smaller state with few houses like Bayelsa to Kagali? Have you ediots factored in the cost of constructing a kilometre road in rivers state? Do you ediots know how much in compensation alone is paid to properties owners before any road construction can take off? Ada George to Iwofe road for example is some few kilometers road that shouldn't cost much but more than 500 hundred properties was destroyed and fully compensated for with an average paycheck of 15 million naira per plot prior to the commencement of the road construction.

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala
Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, at the weekend
arrested a Nigerian based in Madrid, Spain, for allegedly
smuggling 6.490kg of high-grade Brazilian cocaine worth N72
million.

NDLEA Commander at the Lagos Airport, Hamza Umar, who
disclosed this to journalists on Monday, said the 364 wraps of
cocaine, prepared for ingestion and hidden inside his hand
luggage, is valued at N72 million.

He said the drug was detected by officials of NDLEA during the
inward screening of passengers on an Etihad flight.
Hamza gave the name of the 32-year-old suspect as Francis
Bawaba and that the suspect will soon be charged to court.
“Our investigation has revealed that the suspect took off from
Malpensa, Milan, and collected the drug while on transit at
Abudabi.

He had given us very useful information that we are already
working on”, Hamza stated.

The suspect, who hails from Imo State, lamented that his
concern is how his pregnant wife and two children will cope in
his absence.

According to him, “This is my first time of smuggling drugs and
I was lured with an offer of N3.3 million.

“I used to work in construction sites in Madrid to earn a living,
but it has been difficult securing a job since the global
economic melt-down.

“I collected the drug while on transit at Abudabi on my way from
Milan. I never knew that I will be caught here in Nigeria.
“My plan was to invest the N3.3 million in business. Since my
arrest I have been unable to eat, because, I do not know how
my pregnant wife and two kids will cope without my financial
support”.

ATTEMPTS by a Nigerian living in Madrid, Spain to earn
N3.3 million for smuggling 6.490 kilogrammes of high-grade
Brazilian cocaine have hit the rocks as anti-narcotic officials
have arrested him.

Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency
(NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport
(MMIA), Lagos made the arrest and seizure at the weekend.

The 364 wraps of cocaine prepared for ingestion and hidden inside
his hand luggage is valued at N72 million. Officials detected the
drug during the inward screening of passengers on an Etihad flight.
NDLEA Commander at the Lagos Airport, Mr. Hamza Umar gave the

“Our investigation has revealed that the suspect took off from
Malpensa, Milan and collected the drug while on transit at
Abudhabi. He had given us very useful information that we are

According to the suspect, his concern was how his pregnant wife
and two children would cope while serving punishment for his
actions.

“This is my first time of smuggling drugs and I was lured with an

not know how my pregnant wife and two kids will cope without my
financial support,” Francis who hails from Imo State lamented.
Speaking on the frequent arrests by the Agency, the Chairman,
Alhaji Ahmadu Giade assured culprits of maximum penalty for drug
trafficking offences.

According to him: “The essence of punishment is to correct the
offender and deter people from indulging in a crime. Drug trafficking
demands stiffer punishment to serve as deterrent because of the
high profit it generates. The Agency will continue to ensure that the
appropriate punishment is enforced at all times. Stakeholders in the
criminal justice system must understand that stringent punishment
is crucial to a sustainable victory in the anti-narcotic campaign,”
Giade said.

The suspect would soon be charged to court.
