Fred dey charge like Voltron. If the guy no take time i fit apply for card. But he needs to improve on his first touch and strength on the ball. There were a few times he struggled with the Leipzig press.
Don't you think he is too old to improve on that? I mean Lukaku couldn't improve his first touch after all these years.

I get your point, but English is our official language in Nigeria. It will be more impressive if I could speak French or Spanish.
Ideally if the education system in Nigeria was working most people should be able to speak basic french considering the fact that we are surrounded by 4 french speaking countries.

Same applies to European countries, they teach kids other languages to a certain degree.

Nagglesmann's English is pretty good for a german speaker, he sounds like a Scandinavian. A good proportion of young Europeans speak pretty good English though and Nagglesmann is 33 years old.
You people make this speaking English of a thing a big deal, aren't you bilingual? I'm sure you speak Yoruba and English, same applies to everyone else.

Exactly. He said voting should be a learned skill and should not be based on intuition.

It is the government that should educate the people, however having an uneducated citizenry is to their advantage.
That will never happen cheesy if the government eduactes the populace some of the leaders we have now won't be in power.

They are not responsible.

You don’t jail people on the streets because they elected a corrupt leader. You hold the corrupt leader responsible for his actions and jail him.

Everybody is responsible for his or her own actions. The common man on the street might vote you in office but they didn’t force you to start embezzling money or jailing people without due process.

The electorate is the victim here. They are not responsible for the misbehavior of the politicians.

You can’t blame the victims when the politicians promise so much during campaign season only to renege on all their promises once in power.

I know many people who voted Buhari because they truly believed he was the best choice, and they did this after critical thinking as you put it.

Until people start having the gift of prophecy and seeing into the future critical thinking will not stop a politician from going rogue.

The problem is that there is a basic flaw with democracy which is that the general population is asked to make decision which is for the best of the country.
Unfortunately the general population is made up of people with varying intellectual capacity, meaning many people will make decisions based on their level of understanding. A fool’s vote counts the same as a genius’s vote in an election.

The fool will likely make a foolish decision, but you can’t blame him for being a fool.
This is why Socrates criticized democracy, he said voting is a skill that shòuld be taught to the populace, the way an educated man will make his decision when voting will be quite different from an illiterate. Some will argue it creates a divide but the world is not equal and will never be.

It is the duty of the genius to educate the fool but do they do it?

I can't really disagree with this. Last season when i was criticizing his use of the ball many people here were defending him. I believe his passing and general use of the ball would be better if he was playing RCB though cos like the rest of them he is not left footed even though he deceived people into believing he was comfortable playing LCB.
I think Guardiola system is making people believe that you have to be left footed on play on the left side of the defence.
That's a myth and not totally true, although left footed players have a slight advantage the difference isn't that significant.
VVD plays on the left side of the defence and he isn't left footed, Koulibaly also, Vidic, Pique the list goes on. We have more right footed players in the world than left footed.
The case with Maguire is that he is too slow even at Leicester he played on the left. The truth is Maguire's ball playing abilities are overrated just like John stone's.

Nagelsmann wey fit crumble under the pressure of manage a team like United, as we saw with Vilas boas at Shepes.
Finally someone gets it
There is a reason why Bayern didn't go for him, I love Nagelsmann and his style of play, brilliant mind with great attention to details but the guy is still young very young in his managerial career United shouldn't be a testing ground for him.
Besides with the crop of players United have I don't think his style will work.

United made a damn Statement this TW; we ain't gonna pay as you ask anymore - that's the Statement.

Dortmund are asking for 120milla, all the new Signings cost less down that. Signing only Sancho alone won't turn the Team to hybrid of Bayern and Liverpool. To me, excellent Decisions are made this TW.

Amad Traore is a right Winger. Age doesn't matter, if he's the Answer we seek, so be it. I've watched some Clips of him and seems an outstanding Winger. He's strong, pacy and tricky with Skills.

Pelletri ain't a bad Addition either, in a nutshell two Potentials are secured for the RW Position.

VDB is also a solid Addition to the Midfield and having Cavani before Window slammed is really cool with me.

Martial gonna be out for at least 3 Matches, we can't rely on Ighalo to get us Goals, thus Cavani does come in at the right time.

I am happy with Board's Decision this TW, no Club would see us as Maga again.
Spin it how you want the truth is it shows how incompetent the board is. We had 3 months to get players but we ended up buying players at the end of the window this clearly shows lack of planning.

YES we bought Cavani but why did it take us so long to sign him? A club with clear vision would have bought players since and fully integrated them in the squad, because of proper planning Traore won't join until January if the club had sorted out his transfer earlier he would have had his work permit.

The club knew they won't pay Dortmund fee why stick around for 3 months instead of moving on to other targets?

Yeah the club is trying to pass a message but at what cost? Clubs may not see us as Maga anymore but they will definitely see us as incompetent which is far worse.

Indeed he wants to play a certain style but fails to identify the qualities in each position needed to play that style. I don't totally blame him for failing to spot Magwayas lack of pace though. Magwaya at Leicester and Sheffield drifts past players with the ball when driving forward from defence that it will give you the false impression he has some pace. You will not know he drifted past those players due to feints that put them off balance and allowed him to surge past them. It is only when you turn Magwaya toward his own goal that you notice his lack of pace.
van dijk doesn't have great pace what makes him stand out is his excellent positioning and reading of the game that's something Maguire lacks. It's okay not to have pace but FFS please have positional awareness.

Nice one. Did he break into their first team or he is straight from their youth team because from youth tube videos I saw, he seem to be playing in their youth team. Anyway, one for the present and future.

Just 25 minutes of senior football (3 matches) seems United have been tracking him from the youth league but Italian journalists rate him highly.
We just have to wait till January to find out how good he really is.

Maguire was decent before we signed him but now he has regressed.
