buccaneer7:We are meant to help one another, This is my time to give her Money, Cos when we start our home and we both have to be committed to building our wealth, which will take away some pleasure and more sacrifice, then she will understand that when there was no commitment the money was flowing towards her and now that we have to invest in some real estates and lot more, she just have to accept it that way, When the time come again i will continue to splash the money on her again. |

Can any one show or post a link saying Philip is a Fraudster? Has He been accused of His claims, Being the FATHER OF INTERNET? What is EFCC Doing about it Are they aware? All of you that have nothing to do than to look for the down fall of a Famous and Innocent Man, all of you are just bunch of JACKSSSS, WHEN THE TIME COME, YOU WILL ALL USE THAT YOUR STUPID MOUTH TO APOLOGIZE TO HIM. PHILIP NEVER MIND THEY ARE ALL ENEMIES. |
"Additionally, if Philip Emeagwali was criticized by whites for his claims of being a “father of the Internet,” that is not racism. I am Igbo and I am criticizing him for his claims. Does this make me a racist or someone who hates Philip Emeagwali? No, absolutely not. What it does make me is someone who has read the claims made by Philip Emeagwali, and was offended by his tendency to be disingenuous. Persons, white or black, who are knowledgeable about how the Internet came into being would question Emeagwali’s claims and demand concrete proof of those claims. As Africans, African-Americans, people of color, however we are characterized, we are, or have been, victims of racism. To me, this is intolerable. However, what I find even more heinous is when someone tries to gain our sympathy and support by crying “wolf.” As the old Igbo song goes, nwa na ebe ọhụhọ ọhụhọ, onye ma mgbe eji egbu ya?" -----Chioma Ezeilo M.Sc. Philip is a man of GOOD INTEGRITY, either we like it or not PHILIP has contributed something into bring INTERNET into lime light. He work so hard to make his name known despite the fact that He is a black and most white will never want his name to be recognize with His good works. The guy is an HERO. You critics should sit down their and be condemning a man that has put His name in the world map through the work of his hands. You better go find work to do, |
It seems the author of this piece has a personal vendetta against emeka. He might have lied but i find it ahocking that a fellow Nigerian in Diaspora would do this to him. this article is childish at best, hateful and vindictive. This is a man that put Nigeria on the map, he actually achieved something, he won a prize regardless of the fact that he recieved a thousand dollars. Shame on prof. toyin! |
People always want to be in the news, good thinking guy, You are hot. |

morningsta:Are you really cleared of what you are saying? cos you are asking question and you are answering it yourself, do you want them to leave their lovely family abroad and come to Nigeria for a protest and then some stupid police man will now kill them due to their foolishness or something. This guys have done a very grate job out their. If Nigeria is really ashamed of Herself then let her begin to put things right, else we will keep exposing them in the diaspora, papa |

Mikel John Obi was expected to provide the flair in Nigeria's midfield against Egypt but years of operating as a holding player at Chelsea seem to have dulled his attacking instincts. He was replaced by the veteran Nwankwo Kanu at the ongoing Nations Cup. How bad are things for Nigeria right now? They're so bad that the possibility that Jay-Jay Okocha, aged 37 and having played nothing but squash since leaving Hull City, might be brought back into the squad for the World Cup is being given serious consideration by at least certain sections of the Nigerian press. Roger Milla may have been able to do something similar (aged 38) for Cameroon in 1990, but even he was playing third-division football in Réunion. Yet the desire for a central midfield creator is understandable, for that is what Nigeria desperately lack now. Knowing that 'Jay Jay', is one of the top cheer leaders of the Eagles as a member of a Presidential Task Force mandated to ensure Nigeria's flag flies high at South Africa 2010. In a recent interview, he told the press that one of the happiest days of his life was the day he hung up his boots for good, He also told the press that, He still enjoys the occasional kick about with friends. Probably, it would be asking too much of his 37-year-old body to return for the crunch World Cup. But who says that this crowd pleaser should not again be convinced to come back to star for the Eagles in time for the World Cup. His boots have been too big for any of the younger pretenders to fill. Don't you all think we need him NOW!!!? PAPA |
omopreciou:I strongly agree with what you've just said, a president that is on a sick bed that is almost gone, even though He is seeing, is it not what they are telling Him that He's going to believe? WICKED PEOPLE THAT CALLED THEMSELVES NIGERIAN LEADER, Leaders my FOOT. GOD DEY!!! papa |
fredoooooo:Hello all Naira Landers, MATINS went back to London just to attend to his court case, what is really wrong with all this our journalist self? The guy have a court case to attend to and they are now speculating a lot of thing on the news head lines. it would have been better if they put it in such a way like: MATINS ON A BRAKE TO ATTEND TO A COURT CASE IN LONDON. BETTER, get help us in this country oooo, papa |
sammyzacks:I bet you my brother that BBC integrity can never be compromise because 1. They interviewed Mr. President through phone and not physical interview 2. BBC would have done a lot of checks and balances before accepting that interview section 3. BBC are licensed to broadcast any New that will attract peoples attention to their site so far they are correct. My only fault with BBC is that they shouldn't have accepted that interview section. papa |
But remember in Nigeria any thing goes, If the likes of Nelson Mandela "In 1994 Nelson Mandela became the first black President of South Africa. He was seventy four years old" Then why cant he be a president if he feels like helping HIS NATION OUT of this pit. papa |
Vavavoom:I cant believe this, we are waiting to see the end of this first season, lolll papa |
This is just the real fact that this guy have just pointed out, Is their a crime when you notice something and then point it out for others to see? Good job guy, we will improve very soon, papa |
NA GOD GO KAPUUUTTT ALL THIS BAD BELLE PEOPLE, ASA is here to rule and she will, carry on ASA you are the best. papa |
I can proudly tell you that you are very wrong with that statement of your because, Nigeria is not yet a failed country. The only problem with Nigeria, is unprepared, poor and bad leaders. All those who have ruled Nigeria are dealers not leaders. Most of Nigerian politicians, had no day jobs before they entered politics. Politics in Nigeria, has been turned to big business and big business attracts the mafia and other types of criminals. The only political players in Nigeria are those who engage in do or die politics. They are prepared to go to any length to take power, even assassinations, murder, cultism, etc. For this reason no decent person, with good reputation, wants to engage in Nigerian politics. It's our leader that have failed us and not the Nation itself. This Nation is blessed with a lot of Natural resources just that we are not making very good use of them due to a corrupt system. NIGERIA IS GREAT. I BELIEVE IN NIGERIA AND ONE DAY WE WILL ALL REJOICE. I CAN SEE THAT, papa |
Hey guys, what do you think if we Nigerians can persuade Professor Wole Soyinka to run for presidential election come 2011? CAN THIS REALLY COME TO PASS OR IS HE TOO OLD FOR THIS OFFICE OR WILL THE OFFICE CORRUPT HIM ALSO ![]() Please do have your say, papa |
AT LAST!!! I JUST HOPE THIS IS TRUE AND SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE WILL NOT JUST COME UP AND WAVE WHAT THE COURT HAS DECLARED ASIDE, God let This Come to pass, Pending the time Mr. President recover from His Sick bed, papa |
flashgeek:I WILL REALLY SUPPORT THIS IF IT'S TRUE. papa. |
This is serious!!! I can't just believe this when their are thousand of players yearning to go to the Nations cup, Na God go punish all this fake leaders we have. papa |

Are they aware?
