I don’t know about cost anymore since everything is upside down now in the market.

One thing I would say is to forget barb wire and just go for electric fence if budget allows.

Barb wire to me just gives false sense of security unless it’s cemented into the fence.

I have electric fence but i needed to support it with barbwire because of recent experiences in the area , just an additional layer of possible deterence.
