NYSC is 'irrelevant' but Nigeria is not the only country where the citizens go for COMPULSORY national service. The problem is that bad governance makes the people hate it more. This post is dedicated to the Channels TV staff who died covering Boko Haram, he would have been 45 years old this March. This post will fly over the heads of a lot of people because they only see what they believe in and nothing else. Secondly your assertion that 90% of Christians that have been killed all over the world by terrorist organisations in the last one year are in Nigeria is FALSE. When the news on Gaza is shared on Nairaland, they celebrate it based on the foreign religion they have adopted. Marvyx: She openly called Tinubu a “terrible leader” and questioned the government’s failure to address poverty, poor infrastructure, and the unbearable stench in Lagos, where she is serving.Those who resort to insult often type with emotions. Ignore my comments if it is foolish to you. Take time to analyze objectively instead of sentiments. I replied someone else that I don't like Tinubu's government, I don't even need to tell you that but that's the unfortunate level we have gotten to where people cannot see issues for what they are. While I don't like his government, I also know that Tinubu is one person, he will come ND go but Nigeria will remain. I won't hate everything about him just because I don't support him neither will I support everything about someone I like just because na my guy. If I see what is wrong, I point it out even if it's me that's wrong. That is how you analyze issues, no one is perfect after all. In my other posts, you can see me calling out this government but in this one, based on what I read and the people involved, she was wrong. If you destroy institutions because of one person, who is the fool? If she released the video after she had 'passed out', that is fine but since she wants to see the consequences while she's still serving the government, let her enjoy her newfound fame. 3 Likes |

This is El Rufai campaigning for Buhari and abusing the President at the time, Jonathan. This is on Reno's page, he clipped it from Channels TV. Lai Muhammed laughed at how he called the President "drunken driver". El Rufai gave an interview before 2015 and predicted that Nigeria may not survive. I expected the writer to write about what he did before 2015. He has a history that is on record and if you watch his interviews, read what he has said, he has not changed. He said back then that his calling was somewhere else, not government. When they were campaigning, he said he was going to school to the extent that Tinubu had to beg him. Ask, what is he looking for again? He will pretend that he is not interested but he will disturb us with what is not working. Watch this last one where Lai Muhammed defended EL Rufai's threat of violence if APC did not win the 2015 elections. His history is so rich.

I agree with the sentiments of the corps member but I don't condone indiscipline. She must have done orientation and read the NYSC bylaws. Gen Z act without thinking, they think the social media is another universe that exists outside the real world. As a NYSC member, you are a civil servant for one year. That government can use you how they want for one year. If they want to draft you to fight another country, you have no choice as a corps member. For now, Tinubu is your boss as a NYSC member and you do not have the authority to speak on some things while you are still in service. Know this and know peace, this is how you start learning things as an adult. You need to read the rules of the game before playing in it. Not take part in partisan politics. 14 Likes 4 Shares |

When it is time for election, please challenge the NYSC for posting you to PU. People have already taken sides because it is politics but two wrongs don't make a right. A corps member is a staff of the Federal Government of Nigeria. She did not go through proper orientation before going on social media. |

Even the State House writes about the merger of APGA during the 2015 elections but Buhari was from the CPC side, so I take that back. I wrote a comment about how politicians go from party to party, you are writing about Igbo and Obi, something is definitely wrong with your reasoning. Tinubu left AD when Obasanjo and PDP wanted to take over the South West. Buhari did not merge ANPP when he went to CPC. I think he was not happy that ANPP joined the Government of National Unity that Yar'Adua formed. The fact that the coalition in 2015 sent Jonathan out does not mean that will be the solution tomorrow for a new government to be in power. Obasanjo was brought from Prison to be President. He is the same person who tore his PDP membership card. Amosun was contesting under APC and promoting another candidate from opposition party to take after him. Ribadu ran unsuccessfully for office of the President of Nigeria in 2011 as the candidate of the Action Congress. He ran for governor of Adamawa State in 2015 as a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party; before joining the All Progressives Congress to run in 2019 and lost his bid in 2023 to Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed.In 2003 Ganduje and Kwankwanso were forward ever under PDP, today they are championing for NNPP and APC. guobe:  VoA will transmit on shortwave and AM Radio but as I grew older, I grew out of its propaganda. I hope one day, BBC and France 24/RFI will also go like this for our own good. Their programming was more organized and educational than Nigerian stations that was mostly music. One even had the more music, less talk as its signature  3 Likes |
