More like he will face Igbo. Tinubu ain’t doing anything bad. He’s restructuring the entire decayed economy. Might not be perfected in one term. Might take 2 terms or even two next presidents to perfect it. The “he will face Nigerians” rhetoric is an outdated gimmicks. Who doesn’t know yall referring to just the Igbo! The Igbo are one kind of insurrectionist. The last election really awakens the Yorubas. The Yorubas thought they were voting for an honest, decent, prudent, non-tribalistic, & intelligent Obi. They realized it was all a lie after he failed to win. The Yorubas even allowed Obi to win Lagos. This time however, Obi & his IPOB/ESN/Biafrans will consume disappointment like village palm wine. Cry will be plenty when Tinubu throw his devastating punch to KO all of them in 2027. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth’s. |
Don’t be naive guys. Anyone could come up with bs analysis. You wouldn’t know the worth of your country until some foreigners gives you a lowdown of your country. Nigeria is rich & beautiful. Top 2 richest in Africa. |
To be objective, I think the young maid isn’t happy about how she’s being treated. I think she’s getting abused and assaulted. I think her madam isn’t a nice person. And coming from that region, we all know how they treat their housemaids? Don’t provoke your housemaids to ever thinking of doing such evil stuff. Also, stop the child labour and abuse in SE. |
Thisis2raw:They can only intervene if it’s a diplomatic matter & if Kanu isn’t from Nigeria. If he holds a Nigerian passport or born in Nigeria, then Nigeria has the jurisprudence. That said, Nigeria is a sovereign nation & not under British control. There’s an extradition treaty between both countries if Kanu is wanted in the UK. In the case, he’s not. So, Nigeria retains him and do whatsoever pleases them. |
If I am very hungry, I can boldly finish 2. I also only eat it with plenty of assorted meats. It's a no if such is not available |
Thanks |
Hello guys, the topic says it all. I need a death cert for someone asap. Are you guys awake? If you can provide it, let me see sample. Thanks. Email me or respond here |
This is where identity & culture comes into play. For the Hausas & Yorubas, their identity & culture comes before anything. That self-actualization is paramount to their decisions. There are 0.001% of the Hausas/Yorubas getting married to white women. The Igbos on the other hand aren’t immersed with the idea of cultural belonging. They think commonly & often go with “women are the same everywhere”. The Yorubas have a rich culture, likewise the Hausas. The Igbos are more secularly inclined. They account for 99% of Nigerian men marrying a white woman. This is so because they believe in western ideology than the traditional African ethics. Self-belongingness is a key factor here. While the Yorubas & Hausas believe they are indigenous African & Nigerian, the Igbos believe they are Jews & from Israel. More reason they want to secede from Nigeria. The election also gives you a glimpse of who the Igbos are; they’re predisposedly & inherently not a respecter of anyone. They hold no one in high esteem. A big contrast to the Yorubas/Hausas. Patriotism & culture plays a significant role when talking about this topic. And we all know who displays patriotism & cultural affirmation here. |
He donates N1billion to trust fund. This is deceiving the public that he actually did something, but in hindsight, he just saved that money for his kids. You see, when he dies, his kids can get those money back. That’s how trust fund works. |
This is one of the most obnoxious, misleading, ignorant, & subjective take I’ve ever seen. Japa all you want, it doesn’t take away your ineptitude & drive to succeed. Only visionless, self-doubt, & sometimes, no-other-option people travel or relocate from Nigeria. Aside from the security issue, Nigeria is a far better country to live a fulfilled life. Ok, adding 30yrs to your life span is a flex abi? What about eating well in Nigeria & achieving same feat? You think Nigeria is a push over? Nah, aside the bills that’d drain you in the abroad, you’re constantly reminded that work only provide for your upkeep. You eat well but hardly have any savings. If you want to live comfortably in abroad, you need a house of at least 2 bedrooms, a car, insurance, bills, food, & the kids. That’s all your salary in the drain. It’s somehow illogical to sell your property to japa & work hard for five years just to buy same property you’ve sold. Most people don’t recover from the things they sold before relocating. If you’re not between 24 & 35, stay put in Nigeria. Establish yourself. No reasonable Nigerian, doing well, & making money relocates. Look at all our public figures, they stay put. All our business-oriented citizens stay put. Abroad is for broke people. Have money in Nigeria and enjoy what life has in stock. Nigeria has this mental freedom, the rich food, parties, weather, & the freedom of not getting entangled in debts. Abroad is the opposite. It drains you if you got no backup. Pray for vision, ask God to guide you, & you’ll prosper. Abroad is for vacation. Nigeria is home. |
Where are you located? My errand boys take in double of that. Depends on location. Wanna help. |
Dude ain’t even have up to N13m for the processing, yet he’s asking question if he should stay or travel. Nigerian youths are so blinded by the greenery of western civilization. Yet, so immature as to how to grow business & be free from eternal bills, constrained jobs, institutionalized capitalism, & an occasional racism. You’re a god & king with your freedom & culture in Nigeria. N10m is a lot & would go a long way if you secure an investment specialist to guide you. That being said, it’s one thing to travel to Canada, it’s another thing to have enough fund with you. Mind you, you’re expected to have money for rent for at least 2 months, just to get you going before securing a job. You’re also expected to have $ that’d sustain you or your family for that duration. By all calculations, this is going to about N20m. If you rely on any friends or family members to host you, they’d only do that for max of 2 weeks. You can’t come & burden them out. Cleaning white people’s 💩 ain’t easy. Let God lead you. Nigeria is a land of opportunity $ honey. I pray you find the milk. |
The Labour Party emanates from the ideology of greed & the need to seek political recognition. Mr Obi of former PDP was a strong member & close aide to Atiku. He was once elected to be the party's VP & was instrumental in drafting the baseline of the party into a capitalist movement. With Atiku losing the presidential election, Obi strategized & form the now LP on the mandate of socialism while he himself is a capitalist. The endsars movement & the nonchalant attitude of the Lagos state govt gave the LP a platform to sale their mandate. They preyed on gullible & passionate youths whose only hope is a viable & trustworthy govt ready to listen to their plights. Obi quickly grabbed that mantle & turned it around to the delight of his kingsmen who are 98% from the East. Lagos was the go-to point to infiltrate. While the election proved their strategy worked, it also exposes their intentions to sabotage the great Lagos State. Although Legos was the country's former capital, it doesn't diminish the fact that it's still a state with so many historical background of the Yorubas. You see, the Aworis (Yoruba) earlier in the 1500s hunted and fished on the Islands. They created a canoes path from the Islands to Benin and traded with the people of Benin. As trade grew, the people of Benin then began migrating to the shores of Lagos & lived and traded with the Yorubas. During the 1700s, Benin witnessed bumper harvest and those that migrated to Lagos returned back home leaving Lagos to the original settlers which are the Yorubas. The Yorubas are visionaries & saw the future that miscreants & ungrateful people might come from other states to lay claim of their beloved Lagos. They then formed a council and elected an indigenous King as a sign of ownership of lands. The Oba of Lagos is a testament to that lineage. This solidifies Lagos as Yoruba state. The naysayers on the other hand wants to remind their brethren that Lagos is a "no man's land", a dangerous rhetoric detrimental to visitors in Lagos. Just because the Yorubas are welcoming and accommodating people doesn't take away their resilience in maintaining & fighting for what is theirs. The Yorubas are tolerant people & wouldn't want anyone from the east to jeopardize that hands of friendship they're stretching out. When you're arriving in Lagos, 3 status greets you. These are the Yorubas ancestral beings wishing you great tidings and a peaceful visit. Lagos state has the most Yoruba gangs and touts you could ever dream of. They're destructive in nature & ready to die just to claim what is theirs. Likes of Psquare should be very careful in their utterances. Lands in Lagos are not permanently owned by outsiders. It unwritenly leased for 50years and get renewed by the Baale(s) after expiration. Your land can be seized if you continue to preach unfounded rhetoric concerning those that harbor you. Enugu, Anambra, Abia, & Imo are great cities and ready to welcome Psquare and the rest whose main objective is to sow discord and create division in Lagos State. Chinedu Gbadebo isn't Yoruba enough & won't be voted for. Only Yorubas will forever be the governor and Oba of Lagos. Get sense Obidients and stop voting for every d$ck & harry that arose from LP. The Labour Party is becoming an Igbo party and would die a painful death if trends continues. |
As long as you guys have made provisions for housing or where to stay, it's not a big deal. When she gets there, she can even file for you and the child within a month if she can convince the border agency officer that she has a place and a fund to support you guys pending when you start work. Facts about Canada: Canada loves and cherishes family. They understand the importance and significance of being apart and what detriment it brings. They'd without hesitation grant your visa when your wife files for you. That being said, don't rush her into filing for you. Let her gain some momentum and know her way around first. In short, let her settle down first and concentrate on her studies. 3 months is the minimum and 6 months max before she files for you. You wouldn't want to wait any longer after 6 months because of some wolves in sheep's clothing. Women are very self-controlled people. It would be at her loss if she engages in any extra-marital affairs just so to fast-tract her residency. 99.9% of Canadian men of Nigerian origin are married and don't have the luxury to do papers for anyone. Just make sure you send her stipends every now and then to ward off cougars who are desperately waiting for naive and broke newcomers. |
I don't have to respond to you 'cause you're becoming a nuisance. However, for the sake of transparency, I'll just put this here... @Ceasersway recommended me to one of the finest architects on Nairaland by the handle @Gabrokpara001. @Gabrokpara001 later became my project manager and now a good friend. Does this satisfy you? Peace. |
CivilEngineer90:It's fine. Send me your account details let me forward you some tokens. I understand how upset you are for not getting the job. Just use the little for food. Seems you're that hungry. I'm legit, rich and blessed. Hope the Lord locate you, take away your evil mindset, give you a good vibe and change your orientation. Peace |
dawnomike:Thanks for your words. The dude is evil-oriented and has this bad feelings about him. I'm just so glad I stopped him from securing the deal. |
Nairaland has provided me some of the best minds in terms of projects and businesses. Been opportuned to meet one of the best architect and some cool business partners. Just few days ago, I came up here looking for a structural engineer. Many people contacted me via my personal number. I picked @CivilEngineer90 as he was the first to WhatsApp me. I told him of the project and why I needed his input. Provided him with the site Engineer and Artisan phone numbers for further information about the project. He requested to see the project in picture, & I sent him a 3D picture of what he asked for. He demanded to see the plan and all, I told him when he gets to the site that the site Engr would avail him all he wanted to see. He didn't object to it, but he then sent me messages requesting for mobilization fees and other stuff. Told him when he gets to the site, that'd be sorted since he claimed he drives. He asked for the address & direction of the site, I told him to call the site Engr. I went further telling him that when he gets to the location, he should just put a call across to either the Engr or the bricklayer, that they'd come pick him up. He ignored me and called the Bricklayer demanding to see the plan of the project. The Bricklayer refused and told him to come to the site first, since they haven't met before. I then went through our messages on WhatsApp & deduced some bad vibes with him. I didn't like his approach and aggressiveness. He was very pushy and impatient. I saw some manipulations of words with him. I knew he was going to be a bad influence on the site and decided to halt him from going to the site. I contacted another engineer and gave him the job. @CivilEngineer90 has since been going on social platforms including this one calling me a ritualist and many names. He went to my WhatsApp profile, took my picture and posted it on his page. Seun has deleted many of his posts, but he's still going about doing harm. He threatened my Engr and Artisan that they'd be arrested for ritual killings. He's only been on the platform Since September 2022 (2 months). I'm seeking Seun or the moderators indulgence to pls stop this guy from further putting my pictures all over. If he's so pained that I'm not using him for the project again, I'll compensate him, since he's that hungry. Thanks |
Buharidgeneral:Don't mind the op. He's just a bitter person. Decided not using him again for a project due to his bad vibes and approach. Sent him contacts of my employees also. He's been going on social media calling me a ritualistic. I've been on this platform since March 2010. He's only been here for 2 months. I've done deals with lots of people including my architects on this platform. I'm seeking Seun or the moderators indulgence to pls stop this guy from further putting my pictures all over. If he's so pained that I'm not using him for the project again, I'll compensate him, since he's that hungry. |

Any soldier in the house? Pls I need you asap, I mean right. Not for anything malicious, but for legal stuffs. Thanks. |
This is Nigetia!. Peter Obi better win this election, else, the Igbos might never have another chance again. Although, Nigeria needs a viable & a 21st century leader, it however does seem the Igbos are becoming a bit tribalistic, ignorant & gullible of the candidacy of Peter Obi. Mr. Obi is a Nigerian, not a Biafrian. Y'all must know this asap. A Yoruba or an Hausa also have access to him. This is Nigeria! |
They won't be deported. This is called pregnancy discrimination. The immigration officer is immature, insensitive, & lack the professionalism of using initiatives. They'll stay the deportation by asking immigration tribunal for a review, & if there are similar cases already in the case law, then precedence takes the order of the day. |
