HealthRe: COVID-19 : 70 New Cases In Lagos, Lagos Mainland Has Highest Number Of Cases by Parisian: 7:57am On Apr 20, 2020
Oga, do you remember when you prayed to come first in your class? Did you pray for the whole class to come first? When praying for a contract or job favour, do you pray for the whole nation. Do you know that some people are starving to death when you have money lying in your account that you don't urgently need?

If faced with a life and death situation, wouldn't you save yourself first before thinking of others? This is hypocrisy. The earlier you realise that humans are inherently selfish in nature the better for you.
redcliff:
how is it valid? instead of the prayer to revolve around wishing it away so no more people contract the virus, but as long as it does not get to the people that you know, the rest of the world can burn abi?
HealthRe: COVID-19 : 70 New Cases In Lagos, Lagos Mainland Has Highest Number Of Cases by Parisian: 7:17am On Apr 20, 2020
The prayer is very valid. Stop finding faults where there's none.
redcliff:
The people who are not your family members who contract it, do they deserve to be affected? Stupid prayer.
HealthRe: COVID-19 : 70 New Cases In Lagos, Lagos Mainland Has Highest Number Of Cases by Parisian: 7:15am On Apr 20, 2020
Men generally have a weaker immune system than women due to their bad habits.
KirkoBlack:
I guess male does more hand shaking than females.
PoliticsRe: 7000 People Have Unfollowed Kemi Olunloyo On Twitter? by Parisian: 9:36am On Apr 19, 2020
Twitter regularly does a clean up so it's more likely that twitter deleted those accounts. The same happened to Donald Trump and he lost millions of fans.

If you think it's only a handful of yorubas that are in PH then you deceive yourself.
Yorubas are everywhere in PH. In fact one of the biggest hospitals in PH is owned by a yoruba (Rivers clinic), there are lots of yoruba taxi drivers too and yoruba women selling agbo. Most of these people were born here and have lived all their lives here.

There are yorubas all over the world. If a white man said that all yorubas should leave their country, how would you feel?
Barbilius:
Colonial mater indeed, more like vagabonds, forest dwelling apes, running away from their land as if a plague is on their Gid-forkasen land.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 11:50am On Apr 17, 2020
After killing them, you'll be made to face the law and will be killed too. Learn to love everyone regardless of tribe.
Barbilius:
You must be mad, we don't have want y'll animals in our region again, we gonna kill you enmass... Suck ittt
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 11:49am On Apr 17, 2020
Stop this nonsense. Give yourself sense. You're not better than the igbos. I'm not igbo but every single tribe in Nigeria has their flaws. Most of the ritual killing in Nigeria is done by yorubas. Show love and think of how to better your life.

One love.
Barbilius:
So let's play a game of Bleep of to region, we bleeping hate you, you move back to your region and the the handful of our people also move back our region. I swear, your massive exodus from here would be a joy to be behold accompanied with pogrom against you forest dwelling apes.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op):
Believe anything you want abeg. I was born and raised in PH and have never seen those slums in my life. It's like going to makoko in lagos, taking pics and claiming that all of lagos is a slum.
Ten06:
These pictures taken by drone are beautiful but the ones we saw yesterday they took on ground was really disappointing, everywhere is slum
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 11:24am On Apr 17, 2020
The places in the pictures are not dirty but you can believe whatever.
lawrenzofrings:
Is not about taking pictures with drones come down nd see dirty.

Let me ask you a question. You drink water when you're thirsty right? What if you already quenched your thirst and someone keeps forcing litres of water into your mouth? How'd you feel?

Everything needs to be done in moderation.
kponkedenge:
Some women will be like.... My husband is not satisfying me well, but when they meet one satisfying them, they begin to complain that the person is a sex freak.

You can never understand a woman.
FamilyRe: Woman Complains Of Everyday Sex From Husband, Runs (Video) by Parisian: 5:33pm On Apr 16, 2020
Your man looking outside has absolutely nothing to do with you. Marriage can't change someone who has has philandering in their DNA.
Eulalia:
Do the younger ones know how to handle men?
If I get married today, my man will never look outside.
PoliticsRe: Do We Need A Female President ? by Parisian: 4:13pm On Apr 16, 2020
You've said it all.
omoharry:
Dont mind him..he is a typical male chauvinist.
A woman is presently in charge of Germany which is the most powerful country in Europe and she is going a good job ..What have African men achieved since they started ruling? you guys have achieved nothing and only given us shame, pain, misery ,Looting ,countless wars and death .You men are failures and your lot should not be bragging becos you have nothing to offer .
Since Nigerian men have failed us, women should be given a chance to rule for a change . If they fail then we can conclude that the entire black race is too stupid and selfish to rule themselves.
PoliticsRe: Do We Need A Female President ? by Parisian: 2:01pm On Apr 16, 2020
And men who start wars killing millions are not too power drunk to lead? Lol
Bruno3000:
Hell no. Too emotional to lead

TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 10:38am On Apr 16, 2020
So taking it from a site means its no longer PH? Amazing!
Bizibi:
please when you want to do something, don't crop pictures from a site and post it here. Be original.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 10:34am On Apr 16, 2020
But why you crying though? Chill it's not that deep. You can go take your pictures that won't be "touched".
richard870:
Be deceiving yourself....how do you see the BEAUTY in retouched pictures? huh SOMETHING WEY FINE DON FINE, NO BE BY FILTERING/RETOUCHING!

FYI: Pictures are retouched for enhancements (to look more visually appealing) wink
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 10:29am On Apr 16, 2020
Before taking a dig at someone ensure you have properly comprehended the issue first.

Where and when did I mention the bolded. I simply said this thread is to show the "other side" of the city and that the entirety of PH is not like what was depicted in those earlier threads so what is amiss in that?

Abeg, I no get power.
Eulalia:
That neighborhood is still part of ph,isn't it? But the op is trying to make us understand pH doesn't look anything like what the other thread depicted. And this is the real pH.
I feel there's really no need for a counter thread just to prove what is not. Every city has both good and bad parts to it. So I don't know what he's trying hard to prove. Even abroad, they have ghetto areas and beautiful Areas as well.

This is not necessary, especially considering his opening remark on this thread.

Hey, are you Dublingreen from YouTube?
DuBLINGreenb:
By who? Who named PH igwe Ochs??
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 10:03am On Apr 16, 2020
I thought of adding bonny but they'd have said it's not PH.
Greatview:
This is exactly how the main Port Harcourt looks like. Where are those image damagers. Outside Lagos and Abuja no other city in Nigeria nears P.H. You didn't even put the pic of the beautiful island of Bonny to do the finishing.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:58am On Apr 16, 2020
Heliconia Park Estate, not far from trans amadi.
Olodo24:
That third picture isn't Port Harcourt. If you insist that it is, then name the location so I can go see for myself.

I live in PH
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:53am On Apr 16, 2020
Oga, nothing stops you from doing that. There's a saying that it is stupid to try and reinvent the wheel. That's like trying to invent your own light bulb when you can easily go out and buy one. Common sense!
Bizibi:
Crop it from a website and post it here,it is not difficult to go out and take pictures. Don't you see how beremx did her own and fk001 asokoro pictures.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:29am On Apr 16, 2020
Oga, I have travelled to two countries in two different continents. Yes Nigerian
cities are mediocre but there's nothing
wrong in showing the brighter side of things.

I have been to UAE and there are some parts of it that are very ugly eg some parts of Ajman, Rasa khaimah (not sure of the spelling), and one other emirate like that.

Let me stop here.
Princedapace:
Thank u o. Majority of them who do this have never traveled out of the country. U won't blame them.

Each time I see all these type of pictures, I will just be laughing.

Nigeria has no city. Forget et angry
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:25am On Apr 16, 2020
I didn't even post a single picture of G.R.A.
Plead:
Lol,gra. Aside gra, there’s no other place in ph city that is fine and well planned like this.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:24am On Apr 16, 2020
You're right. Actually every Nigerian city is mediocre but if you read the statement I wrote before posting the pics, you'd understand the reason for this thread.
Lostz:
I don't know what you guys get from uploading this pictures on nairaland.

the truth is, every where in Nigeria is a slum.

we should not be celebrating mediocrity
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:18am On Apr 16, 2020
This is not peculiar to only Nigeria. Professional photographers all over the world do it. That is the essence of photography.
richard870:
Lolzz, thats the 'norm' in Nigeria in order to beautify an a perceived beautiful scenery. I knew before opening the thread that the images would be retouched/filtered
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 9:15am On Apr 16, 2020

Rainbow town which has been under construction since Amaehi's tenure has about 13 high rises but is yet to be complete. The corruption in Nigeria is too much otherwise, why would it take the state government over 12 years to build a few high rises?
nijabazaar:
PH should invest in High rises...I mean they have the resources. This is an oil city . We should be looking at avant garde Armani level elegance.

All these low level structures makes it look like third grade Sofia before the USSR disintegration.

That cunt denigrating Abia state should come up with ITS own state thread
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 4:53am On Apr 16, 2020
Well that's your personal problem. If you don't recognize aba road, agip road, rainbow town, golf estate, spar area ,mile 1 flyover etc then you're not a bonafide PH resident.

All those pictures are 100% port Harcourt.
meobizy:
I live in PH and don’t recognize any of those places.
TravelRe: Beautiful Pictures Of Port Harcourt by Parisian(op): 4:48am On Apr 16, 2020
I thought if I showed those, attackers will come at me saying I'm showing only selected buildings, that's why i chose to show the street views from afar.

Maybe I'll modify to add those you mentioned.
ruggedtimi:
Too much of showing road networks, Op you can as well show pleasure park, pictures of residential houses, hotel presidential, street view of G.R.A, Chilling spots in pH ( Genesis, the boss, spar, sok lounge, next supermarket, uniport etc).
