Career › Re: A 100k Monthly Salary In Nigeria Is Better Than A 400k Monthly Salary In USA by parkervero(m): 8:21am On Mar 10, 2021 |
bloggerblogger2: YOU MAY AGREE OR DISAGREE.
A 100K monthly salary earner in Nigeria is better than a 400K monthly salary earner in the United States.
The luxury lifestyles some of us live here with 100K, cannot sustain us a day over there. We can’t try such in US and save a dim.
Some of our annual rent here is weekly/ monthly rent over there. Can you pay over 100K naira monthly house rent with 400K monthly salary here in Nigeria? You can’t do that, but you don’t have a choice over there. You pay or kicked out of the house.
Some of our people over there are becoming wiser now. They don’t mind sleeping on the streets, work for at least 5-10yrs, move back to Nigeria with their savings. You cannot survive with 100M living comfortably a year over there. Tax go finish you up. But you can live large with 100M for 5yrs or more here in Nigeria depends on your lifestyles tho.
You don’t pay unnecessary tax here. But in foreign countries you pay almost everything. In naija you can own 10 cars..not in the United States because you pay for packing space for each car. You get the point now?
Some of our people in diaspora, once they earn $10K in a month or so, depends on the job, they’d send $9K down to their Nigeria account and keep $1K for their upkeep. Some would buy lands and build houses for rent or some other businesses. If you don’t do that, you’d work all your life and come back with nothing. Those of you on this method are wise. But becareful of the people you send your money to here. Trust no one! Get a trustworthy lawyer involved.
U can make unnecessary noise or play loud music here. You can’t try such over there and not find yourself in police cell.
So you see….We are privileged here. We only need to get bad political leaders off the way. By getting involved in politics, national, state, LGA and community affairs. That’s how American youth you admire, do.
They don’t just fold hands, wailing and waiting for a miracle. They debate, disagree, challenge, involved and create. You get the point now? $400k or #400k? We need to be cleared na |

midolian: You sound very foolish and bias.
if your "christian" schools want to dictate how Muslims should dress, they should begin to fund themselves. These schools are government schools for crying out loud and the government has decided, what exactly is your problem? why are you so intolerant of others, yet you paint Muslims intolerant? @bold tell your muslim govt to hand schools back to their original owners and see that it (school) will be run better than the way your muslim govt is running it. Christians are the most tolerant adherents you could think of if you can reason very well. Your religion compel and force on people its belief(dogmatic) on the throat of non-muslims later you will say no compulsion in religion. |

AlexBells: I'm not a war monger but the war started a while ago, the truth is that the cost of living in the West will be way high that so many people will not be able to withstand, You will still buy Northern food just that you may have to buy it indirectly and at way higher price.
With higher cost of living people will live Yorubaland, which means that on the next phase Yorubas could be struck without hitting at other tribes who must have left, Lagos in particular is out of the Equation for now, lagos will get food supply, from the East and the Rest but what about places like Ibadan a lesser accessed part of Yorubaland.
People are already leaving for IDP camps in nearby Yoruba countries it is only a matter of time before others leave. Are Yorubas going to desert their lands, it is not a matter of talk, hunger is bad, and hunger with violence is the worse.
I think the era of diplomacy is over, the west should act when they still have time. trust me, we have solutions to every challenge that faces us. Our governors have been calling on people to start farming long before now. In the long run, Fulanis and Hausas will suffer for it, trust me. |

I don’t have any pet. I live in a very clean house (abroad). I do not sleepwalk or have any health issue.
I noticed this before but recently started seeing more of the marks. Please does anyone know what this marks mean, how I can stop it, or any solution? Please don’t comment nonsense answers because I am very serious and need honest answers and solutions. Thank you so much. Try to make sure you don't spare any wall geckos in your room. barnny: We all know getting a job in this country is another hell graduates is going through till date, talk more of getting a dream job.
I will try to be brief as much as I can.
Haven applied for so many jobs and attended some interviews, I finally saw one graduate trainee job (my kind of dream job tho) as at January this year. Although is a banking job which is actually my dream job. I wrote their aptitude test which I passed. We were eight that was invited for their interview out of over 70 candidates that applied and I was lucky to be part of those eight. To the glory of God I scape through at the first stage of the interview. At the Final stage of the interview (One on one interview) was where my righteousness or should I call it "Being Truthful" deprive me of my dream job. You may ask how did I know, but the truth is, that is what deprived me of getting the job. I don't want to explain further on that just to cut the story short.
The question they ask me that lead to my disqualification was: "Do you know anyone in this bank?" And my reply was "Yes". And truly I know someone working there but he wasn't even the one that ask me to apply. I only came across the job and I applied. But I never knew I'm suppose to say NO, I also never knew the answer will snatched the job away from me.
After all the sacrifices, sleepless nights on night journey from one town to another, After almost getting an accident on these our bad road, not to talk of the time and resources I have invested in getting this job. look at my life? See where my righteousness has brought me into?
Just yesterday some of my colleagues got invitation for their medicals. And since that yesterday I have been so deeply down. I feel depressed. I feel like just giving up. Why me? What is really wrong somewhere that I don't know?Just imaging the kind of opportunity I have missed even when I know age is no longer on my side when it comes to this kind of job...
Honestly I'm tired. I feel like not going to church today. I am confused and feel like it's over. The question you were asked was completely the opposite of what you gave as answer. The interpretation to the question is 'did anyone from this bank help you' as regard this job? and your answer was yes which was completely in opposite of the correct answer. You didn't process the question you were just in rush. It has nothing to do with righteousness because if you don't know anybody there your answer will be no which is correct in both sides 'your spiritual koko life and the correct answer'. |

The essence of birthday is to apply your heart on to wisdom(PS 90:12) and not for merriment. |

syluck: Hello guys,
It's my three months of learning programming language. Never thought I will be this enthusiastic student software engineer this far.
There's this issue I'm having right now. It's about the institution that will accept me to read computer science. I'm not likely going for universities because majority of them are after "Chemistry", "Physics", "Biology" etc FOR JAMB COMBINATION.
Literally, I wrote Jamb last year hoping to read "Cooperative Economics" in Unizik. I scored 230 and my jamb combination is "Economics", "Mathematics" and "Government". Still last year, I came across programming and the beauty in it and I lost interest totally in my initial course. Like every other programmers, I also need this certificate in computer science. The problem is, I was never a science kid in secondary school and I don't have any related science subjects in my WAEC except Agriculture. And most institutions are after those science subjects and combination.
Like I said, I don't intend going for universities because I know it's practically impossible for them to admit non-science students into the department of Computer Science. I just need to know if there's any polytechnic that'll accept me with my jamb combinations and SSCE result. Neither will polytechnic admit you to study any science related course. Just sit for waec or neco and include science subjects to your list of subjects.. Best of luck! |
