Please how can one check how much balance I owe uber abi how much they owe me. After the update few weeks ago I no even come understand the app again, I have no idea if I am owing or they are owing me. The app seems to have gotten worse than bolts app plus they havent still increased fares. How person go de see 400 nairs trip still?

Got an offer from a company to resume in 2 weeks, salary isnt what I expected since I actually did good at the interview but I am taking it like that cos of the extensive training on the job.

Dropped off a rider this morning and immediately I ended trip the uber app indicated my account needs attention, tried to go online but couldn't the app says contact support which I did and support mailed back saying my account is on hold because my cancellation rate is very high and that it will automatically be put back online in 7 days.

I then mailed back stating that my cancellation rate in my account is 2 percent, that is 2 percent high? Because its confusing that my cancellation rate is only 2 percent but they say my cancellation rate is high. Confused much right now and bolt blocked me permanently a long time ago

Wrote a story here some days back I think on tuesday about taking one idiot to alagomeji and back, Uber refused to pay n I contacted her and she spoke well n said she will pay up on friday. Crazy traffic police chased me down with okada this morning and eventually caught up with me, refused to open the door initially and when I eventually did the fool began dragging my key with me like he literally injured my fingers when blood comot na him he quickly leave my key for me come go de try comot my plate number for middle of road by this time I don de threaten them with lawyer de try do video na so he the eventually leave my plate number and we eventually settled it in the middle of the road and i was told to go.

Took a rider to Alagomeji yesterday and the person she went to see there refused to pick up the phone hence she changed destination back to where I picked her up.

Got back to the place and ride ended at 3800 n she explained to me that she doesnt have enough money since she thought she will meet the person there, I understood so she sent me only 2k n said I should leave a report so the balance will be in her account on her next ride, normal thing. Leave report finish this morning saw uber's response and they are refusing to pay me saying jagons up n down.

I sent a text to the rider notifying her that uber has refused to pay me which means that money wont be put into your account, that I will be heading to her place this morning if need be because I cannot lose on both ends, told uber the exact Same thing that I have contacted the rider politely via text requesting for my money since they have refused to pay me. Meanwhile the rider messed my car up with food n fanta as in really messed my back sit up oo. Even reported my car being messed up by rider and took pictures and sent to them, them say make I send them receipt of cleaners with date corresponding I I de laugh say these people must really think Nigerians dont have hands to clean their own ish.

In other words any uber ride you go on and the person refuses to pay the complete fare make sure you collect your money cos uber seems to not be paying for those kinds of things anymore.

From now on no more being nice to riders at all, before I de pick the ones wey I de de nice to depending on the energy they bring, but from now on no more Mr nice guy.

Riders need to learn hard lessons in terms of using the app. Dont request for a ride when you as a rider is not ready to leave your location, I cant drive to your PU location and then start waiting 10 mins, 15 mins plus, its disrespectful and I hardly ever wait more than 5 to 8 mins I don cancel am collect cancellation fee move ahead.

If drivers constantly treat them this way they will sit up. Got a ride this afternoon and rider sounded in a hurry on the phone so na so i speed go PU location, even before I got there gan gan I already called that I am there still got there and waited 10 mins. Dude didnt show up, I cancelled for the fee and drove off. Na when I reach the place wey I been park before which took me like 5 mins dude come de call, just jeje ignored because dudes trip was even a card trip.

Abi na the foolish guy wey request yesterday, luckily I was at the beginning of his close so I called and told him and he said pls no vex give me 10 mins. Yesterday afternoon I noticed surge in the uber app, But I wasnt anywhere near where the surge was. After quite a fair good day I decided to retire back home early and as I got home looked at the app again at about 5PM the whole app was red. The surges are back but I'm just hoping the 3% will be back by next week.

That 3% na him sure pass but them need reduce the number of trips per week to like 15 for a period of time to compensate drivers for the past few months of Covid-19

The work na slave work for now, no surges no promotions nothing, strictly drive and they take 20 or 25 percent of every trip which basically means one will always be in the negative. I have never ever finished a week with a negative balance for more than a year.

I currently have a negative balance of 8k plus... Without surge and promotions and alot of requests the work na slave work for now.

I pray every driver partner understands the the hard work every driver goes through to bring in that bread....
