2 hours after leaving my house I still havent gotten 1 request. I dont know if I should leave where I parked again to somewhere else or just stay there cos I been to different areas and didnt get any request before eventually parking somewhere. The business isnt worth it this period from the look of things.

Just uploaded my renewed license on the uber app and they still havent responded or sent a message back since 11am. I get the fact that corona virus has affected the world and all but I thought people were supposed to work from home? Havent been out this whole week cos of license and enu don gbe finish makes we wonder, A driver can go online and receive requests but cant get any help in a short time from the app in terms of any issues that arise. Takes me back to my former thoughts, these guys dont care about any driver on their platform and that's a fact, they set the rules and if you break em they yank you off the app without remorse but when certain issues arise they just simply dont give a rats ass.

Bolt blocked me cos I cursed their life out. I mean how can a trip from ikoyi to surulere end at 1,000 nairahuh These murrfuckers are nothing but thieves. If one person in their customer care has thr power to block my account simply cos I cursed them out then they are only clearly ripping us off

It's high time we do something about this bolt thieves ripping us drivers off for absolutely no reason, these guys are nothing but thieves. How can a trip from ikoyi to surulere be 1,000 nairahuh No be slavery be that, there was a day I took someone somewhere the trip ended at 3,000 bolt gave a discount of 300 the person paid me 2600 instead of 2700, I left a fare review on that trip stating how much the person paid. Guess what bolt reviewed the trip and changed it to 2900. I couldn't laugh that day. This shit dont make any sense to me anymore, how does one work hard on the road every other day only for these thieves to keep fooling us. Problem is we Nigerians are not United, we can almost never unite for a good course. Walai talai if we unite these e hailing apps will do the right thing, but what do I know? I'm just a common driver with a degree he cant use to get a reasonable job.

Is it that nobody knows, or drivers are just ignoring the fraudulent balance calculations BOLT is always on abouthuh I'd really like to get other people's opinion on this issue. On Uber it's so clear to see, they take away their commission immediately and you can see what's left but on bolt it takes so much time coupled with the foolish bonuses they used that to constantly confuse you
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Parlee(m): 4:01pm On Feb 09, 2020
Bolts fraudulent way of calculating ones balance is extremely epic, you cant even keep up them go confuse you. Omo na wa ooo
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Parlee(m): 6:08pm On Feb 05, 2020
Just imagine, 200 naira toll ooo bolt cannot add back into my account telling me I did not request for review like I knew the toll wasnt added, btw the rider had a 200 naira bonus, bonus that I never see in my account? That bonues shii is a not so clever way to scam drivers

In fact enh its so annoy.

5min back one just happened. I was inside Omole phase 1 behind the Catholic church and got a req.

GBAM GBAM GBAM!!!
Aceppted!

Immediately my phine ring.

Me: hello
Rider: a woman's voice, of a where r u
Me: I'm in front of the Catholic church
Rider: I dont know where that is o but I'm standing beside uba
Me: ok, where r I going pls?
Rider: lekki abi, she was trying to mention the exact place.
Me: ok, im coming.

B4 I cud get to omole gate she already cancelled. Called the fufu she didnt pick.

Guy man just weak.

Drove down to uba I just off my bolt app and turned on uber and immediately a req entered going to phase II. Trip ended of 0naira...guyman just weak today... e b like na o fe work I dey do today ooh

But one thing I c about this taxify policy on zero charges on cancellation is that, ita their strong strategy to grab d market and thats d reason they have lots of riders they understand the market very well. So i dont see them scrabbing it not now not in the nearest future. But they only thing is they should look for a balance for drivers as well because it doeant make any sense after driving for a long distance inly for rider to cancel on u. Its totally wrong
It's obvious they are not going to do anything about it, but that means their cancellation rate on both sides rider and driver will be very high. Which is probably why alot has been happening lately with ratings dropping today and coming up tommorow.

What you fancy about them is also affecting you.

You drive to pickup and the rider doesn't pick his call, who gets affected?

You take trips with network error, who gets affected?

Riders rate you anyhow and their system also drops your rating due to harsh conditions, who gets affected?

Riders end up not paying you affect a trip, who gets affected?

In the long run, they favour the rider more which is not right.
In summary, drivers are just being used to achieve their business goals while they sit in their office telling you to let's move Lagos. Why don't they enter the streets with us and lets move it together.

This is also very funny to me as the bolt company is just a dubious one.
Riders claim that bolt is cheaper ( always due to their app errors), drivers claim it pays them more, meaning the fare is higher when compared to others.
The riders paying the money feel that it's cheaper using bolt are gained at drivers' expense due to app errors and their zero cancellation charge etc.

The drivers are at the Expendables while BOLT (thief, dubious, cunning etc) are at the winning end.
Bro, Plesse abeg clap for yourself. You sabi exactly the gimmicks wey BOLT de play, Riders are favoured way more than drivers, Them de exploit cheap labour for their own personal gain. Riders on Bolt feel it's cheaper while drivers feel it pays more but for uber drivers feel it's way too cheap while the riders feel it's more expensive.

Baba these companies are only exploiting cheap labour walahi talai, When I see my guy Uber app when he come back from yankee I wan cry. I immediately knew we are been used out this zones fam, these companies need to either do better or leave. No let anybody deceive you for this THREAD, there is no driver that isn't struggling, struggling to meet up. Only a disciplined driver can always and I mean always pay their partner on a regular whether na rent abi HP unless the drivers wey own their own car. These companies are exploiting drivers plain and simple

The driver before me took this guy to ayobo or so and the trip ended at 5500 until now the driver hasnt received that alert. I then got his request at ikeja under bridge to shrine, took him and his drug head friend there in fact both of em drug ass whimps. Got to shrine started wasting my time with nonsense stories about how he forgot his modem at his mums place, he called his mum on my phone big mistake, he also called the earlier driver on my phone about his modem and too bad for him he left it in the drivers car, another mistake. Oya pay me na trip was 700 bolt gave a 200 discount, give me 5h make I de go na he say he wants to do a transfer of 1k so I will give him 5h so he can have change on him (no big deal, done it w couple times for some riders) oya do it na, baba showed me alert they deducted 1010 naira. Mind you all this happened sharply ooo. I left and got home n didnt see 1k alert. My mind started telling me it's a fake alert, I decided to call the earlier driver since he called the dude on my phone, baba say him never see alert yet and him mind don already de tell am say na fake alert the boy show am.

Say the time wey the boy use my phone call am say make him come meet am for shrine return the modem say him just reason am say him go rather go drop the modem for bolt office so that if he receive him alert the boy go go collect am for there.

The guy called me like 30 mins later saying omo be like say na fake alert that boy do for am oo cos him don check him bank app him never still see the money. Chaii na him I weak finish.

I eventually got the boys number from the other driver cos the number he has on the app is off, same with the number he called me on when he booked. Called him, he de talk nonsense, say if I get any complaint say na bolt I suppose direct am to. I Come tell am say na ordinary 1k na say bro if you needed help that bad all you needed to do was talk to me as a man and if I want to help I will.

Funny cruise but na the first driver wey Carry am I pity pass wasted fuel n time. Cant trust none of these riders no more oo no matter how good looking they are, and I used to be so cautious ehh.

Now I'm thinking of texting his mum and telling about her sons escapades. Dont need the bread again sef but just so she can be aware of what her son is up to, Make he no go red for the guy one day she go surprise.

If bolt doesnt add a cancellation fee anytime soon, then drivers will constantly start cursing out these fake requests that come and you call they tell you where they are, you get there they dont pick up the phone again. No courtesy whatsoever. Bolt has already been able to take alot of uber customers because they dont have a cancellation fee which makes no sense.

Uber don cast for mainland oo abi? Have had only two requests on uber since morning. The third one was to okota and I politely declined. Since then not even one request. Be like say BOLT don de collect all uber clients finish oo. If not for BOLT's mago mago they probably would be better on the long run in terms of price and all
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Parlee(m): 1:03pm On Jan 22, 2020
BOLT has to be the most fraudulent e hailing business in the country, dont even intend on going into further explanation you are free to think what you want. Uber is way better than any other e hailing app only messed up thing is they are exploiting the drivers with cheap fares hence cheap labour. Dont even understand why drivers here waste their time with any of their fraudulent campaigns abi is it their fraudulent rating system.

Went to pick some entitled idiot around agege, Map forever leads one astray so I decided to call her for directions on getting to her street, map said I have arrived called her again and told her I am beside some supermarket she said that's her street that I should drive down the street and I will see a brown and cream building. Na so I drive down not knowing her house was right beside the supermarket I was initially stopped at. She called again n started shouting that she is in the sun and where am I, I explained to her where I was and she wasn't having it na so she de shout go even while I eventually located her she kept on shouting meaning I should not talk but listen to her. Of course that's not possible I told her she made the mistake by not simply telling me her house was beside the supermarket. Guess what she kept shouting that was when I had enough and told her if she isn't going on the trip she should tell me and I will cancel All the while her friend who is actually the person going on the trip kept telling her it's ok it's ok but she wont have it and I just closed my booth and told her I am no more going on the trip that's when she started cursing me telling me I am young enough to be her younger brother say ko ni Da fu her own family bla bla . Worse part she started shouting on the street calling me thief ole people on the street were just laughing. Funny story u go finish am later I get ride now btw I never see uber alert oo. Anyone who has seen should let me know

Just imagine calling me mumu for leaving a message here about what I want. A lot of y’all here are very uncivilized, I have been on uber/taxify for a long time and it has helped me in a lot of ways in paying bills. Me wanting a fresh tokunbo doesn’t mean I don’t know what I am doing. Anyway i’ll Work even harder and buy it outright in a few months. Better than having to buy a used car not fully knowing the real problems of the car.

I started in the 2013/2014 session. As at then it was clearly stated all I needed was 120 core units. Now that it says 140 core units on the website does it mean it will affect me as well? That I have to complete the courses?
