*2023 Polls: Dr Tony Nwoye defeats Stella Oduah, Mrs Ebele Obiano and others to wins Anambra North Senatorial Post.*

Onitsha- Former House of Representative Member and a Medical Doctor, Dr Tony Nwoye has been declared the winner of Anambra North senatorial district by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).


Dr Tony Nwoye of the Labour Party (LP) was declared winner by the INEC returning Officer for Anambra North, Prof. Kingsley Ubaorji of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka at Onitsha North Local Government Headquarters.

Dr Tony Nwoye, according to the Returning Officer, scored 94,779 votes to defeat Senator Stella Oduah of Peoples Democratic Party who got 50,146 votes.

Dr Tony Nwoye’s arch rival, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, Wife of Former Anambra State Governor of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) scored 48,212 votes to place distant third.

Declaring the result at the Anambra North Senatorial collation center, INEC Returning Officer for Anambra North Senatorial Election, Prof. Kingsley Ubaorji Declared and returned Former House of Representative Member, Dr Tony Nwoye Winner having satisfied the constitutional required number of valid votes cast for the election.

In his brief thank you message, Dr Tony Nwoye thanked the good people of Anambra North for electing him as their Senator and Promised he will never disappoint them.

HON. BRIGHT OSEMEKA HOSTS ONITSHA NORTH AND SOUTH FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPS ELECT, HON. EMEKA IDU


Hon. Bright Osemeka (Nwachinemelu) Tuesday in Onitsha has hosted the winner of Saturday’s House of Representatives election for Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Idu Emeka, at his house in Enweonwu, Umuezearoli village Onitsha.

Receiving the winner and hosting him to a dinner, Hon. Osemeka who was the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the same election noted that such show ofsportsmanship of accepting electoral outcomes signifies politics without bitterness or resentment as a former Nigerian Statesman, Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim espoused.

Hon. Bright Osemeka while answering questions from newsmen on the sidelines of the occasion, stated:

“In every competition, someone has to win and someone has to lose, but those who lost should not lose their enthusiasm for the advancement of the society.

"The larger interest which is to make the society better is greater than individual ambitions, and we should therefore work together for its success, despite losses.

"In politics, hope should not be lost permanently because tomorrow could present another opportunity for us to contest again and win".

In his response at the joyful occasion, Hon. Idu Emeka (Ochilimma) revealed that he was overwhelmed with joy with the show of solidarity and support from Hon. Osemeka, describing him as a friend, brother and partner.

He declared that he will run an open door legislative representation, aligning with all the contenders in the just concluded election which was adjudged free, fair and credible for the overall benefit of Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency.

Highlight of the occasion was the special prayers to God during the breaking of kola nut by Ndi Otu Agbalanze members present at the party, soliciting God Almighty to grant wisdom, knowledge and guidance to the winner as he embarks on the journey of representing the good people of Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

In videos that have gone viral on social media, especially Twitter, the former Anambra State Governor in company of Dr Tony Nwoye, The Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Anambra North could be seen waving to onlookers, traders, and passersby from the roof of their car. Their visit attracted thousands of people who wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to see the incoming President and The incoming Senator of Anambra North Senatorial District, who will be working hand in hand with Mr Peter Obi in Abuja. Many also wanted to use the opportunity to see the men they had heard of or seen on the screen of their television set in recent time.

“OBI!, OBI!” rang out as his motorcade drove slowly through the crowded market. A shout that could be heard five kilometres away. The excited Obi and Dr Tony Nwoye was so overjoyed by the resounding and overwhelming show of love that all they could do was smile and wave back at the crowd.

The love was overwhelming as traders and onlookers in their thousands trouped out to get a glimpse of the Former Anambra State governor and Former House of Representatives Member, Dr Tony Nwoye. Trading activities were put on hold as traders rushed out to take pictures and get a feel of the winning team.

Obi also used the opportunity to address the Traders, men and women of goodwill. He urged them to Vote for Him and His Vice, Dr Tony Nwoye for Senate Anambra North and Hon Idu Emeka for House of Representative. He maintained these men were carefully selected to help him build a new Nigeria of our dreams. He urged them to Vote Labour Party all the way. He thanked Nigerians for their Support, prayer and love. He promised not to let them down with his Team.

Akpo community warmly received High Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo yesterday in his campaign to represent Ndi Aguata at the Federal House of Representatives this 25tg February, 2023.

Still on Sunday, 19 February 2023; in another show of massive solidarity, a group under the aegis of Igboezue International Community, Onitsha chapter, led by Mr. Okey Obumse pledged that the group has adopted Hon. Bright Osemeka as their bonafide candidate for Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency election.

They assured Nwachinemelu that they will fulfill their part by giving overwhelming votes to him.

Hon. Bright Osemeka in his speech thanked the group for their unalloyed support, promising that the era when constituents' needs where undermined is over.

Hon. Osemeka stated that his era of representation will enthrone fairness, legislative accountability, transparency and ingenuity which will translate to provision of well salaried job opportunities, meaningful empowerment facilitation, skills and knowledge transfer to the youths, periodic town hall meetings, and so on.

Highlight of the occasion was a special prayer session said to Almighty God for a resounding victory at polls for the people's choicest candidate, Hon. Bright Osemeka.

*2023 Polls: When Anambra APC Strategises To Win In the State.*

*…Polling Units and Wards are the real battle ground not Abuja says Senator Mrs M. Okadigbo.*

All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra State Chapter which has for so many years struggled unsuccessfully to achieve electoral success in the State had never had an outstanding outing except in 2017 Governorship Election and after that it seems they want to sleep but this time around the party has shown strong readiness to do what some people may call the impossible going by the political calculations in the state that has been controlled by the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and PDP for over ten years now.

The State Coordinator of Anambra APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Mrs Margrey Okadigbo today in an Interactive session with All the Ward Chairmen, Ward Coordinators of the Campaign Council in various Wards and Ward Youth Leaders in Awka said “enough is enough“ as she rolls out action plan for the Party as it concerns February 25th, 2023 General Elections.

In her remarks, She urge all ward chairmen and leaders not to have any form of squabble this time around. We still have a lot of ground to cover. She personally appealed to Ward Chairmen to always carry their Ward and Local Government Women Leaders along. We need to work with everyone, and engage in doo-to-door and house-to-house campaigns.

Senator Mrs Margrey Okadigbo at the meeting also expressed eagerness to make sure APC gets required over 25% votes to 40% votes cast for APC Presidential Candidate and to make sure APC wins National Seats at the General Election in the State.

She further said: “the purpose of this interaction is to thank them for the good job they during the Rally in the State and to identify with them as leaders of the party in various Wards who have a major role to play as we approach 25th February, 2023 Elections. She reminded them that they are real grassroots mobilizers. They should go out there and make the Party proud.

She maintained that her concerned is how we are going to deliver our Presidential Candidate and other candidates in 2023, therefore we deemed it fit to come together to make the party stronger at the grassroot. She urged them to submit the list of 10 man Polling Unit Canvassers.

The Chairman APC Campaign Rally Committee, Hon Sir Azuka Okwuosa appealed to the Ward Chairmen, Ward Coordinators and Ward Youth leaders of the party to work as a team for victory to be achieved, urging them not to loose hope but look at the bigger picture.

On his part, Senator Emma Anosike appealed to All Coordinators , Youth Leaders and Ward Chairmen to work like never before to deliver APC in the State, stressing that it is achievable if they work as a team just as they did during the Presidential Rally in the State.

Addressing the Ward Coordinators, Ward Youth Leaders and Ward Chairmen, The State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike maintained that the APC has done a lot for Anambra State and South in area of infrastructures which include Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, 2nd Niger Bridge, Enugu-Port Harcourt Road and some many other infrastructures. and Nigeria at large, stressing that the time to dethrone the ruling party is now which is why the 2023 general election is very important. 

Chief Basil Ejidike urged them to work smart and like a team. He believed that APC Anambra will surpass other election records in Anambra State. He praised the Leadership of Senator Mrs Margrey Okadigbo in this campaign period.

*PRESIDENT BUHARI, NAIRA DESIGN EXTENSION & SUPREME COURT INTERIM ORDER.*

A lot of people have expressed opinions in respect Of Mr President broadcast concerning the New Naira redesign Policy of CBN. Many have accused Mr President of disobeying a valid Court interim Order of the Supreme Court. Many have argued, whether Supreme Court is right in issuing the order in the first or not and whether disobeyed Supreme Court order.

As a Public Affairs analyst and Chieftain of APC, Mr President did not disobey the order of the Supreme Court. When this order was issued in the first, as a responsible Government and President. He obeyed the letters of the order while sending his AGF to start a process to vacate the order. Which the Office of the AGF has taken all the necessary action to vacate the order.

Let us take a look at Supreme Court And Their Interim Order Against The FG & CBN - Facts and Falsehoods and Emotion attached to it. I have seen lots of misleading information being peddled by some print media. Everybody is interpreting the order the way it suits his or her narratives. They claimed that the earlier Interim Order by Supreme Court still subsists and operates as injunction against the CBN. By their own reasoning, the old Naira note is still valid and legal tender, due the interim order of the Supreme Court. This is not true to my understanding.

I am not a Lawyer, but I have sufficient knowledge to have read many cases and be involved in a lot of Court processes. The life span of an Interim order is very clear and well stated in law. An Interim Order is usually given to last for 7days. Which in the instant case against the FG & CBN, the first order issued ought to have elapsed on 15th February,2023. This Interim can be renewed after expiration of earlier or first 7days, upon application for renewal. Is this application by oral or written? This is very key to getting to know if Mr President actually disobeyed the Supreme Court order. A current example is the Instant Case Between Governor Wike and PDP. In the Interim order of the Rivers State High Court, the court issued First order restraining PDP from Sacking Wike. The order elapsed and Wike applied properly before the Court for renewal which was granted to him. PDP is bound to obey this particular order. Check the facts of the case as it is now. Application for an extension by Wike camp is by written application.

All I know as a non-lawyer is that Interim orders are quite different from the Interlocutory Injunctions. The Interlocutory Orders are made to last throughout the duration of the case, no matter how long the case may last in court. But in this case, Supreme Court didn’t grant Interlocutory order but an interim Order.

The nature of the Supreme Court order against the federal government or CBN is; Interim Injunction and Duration is 7days.

From the above, as at today, that order has expired. It expired by effluxion of time. The Supreme Court sat on Wednesday being 15th February. They review all the facts before it, but REFUSED to renew their already expired Interim Order. From the proceedings of the Supreme Court, there was no new application before the Justices for the renewal of the Interim order. The Plaintiffs, knew the interim order has expired. They tried to get the Supreme Court to approve renewal for them, they didn’t put in any application before the Justices of Supreme or before the court for renewal.

The question on our minds now is very simple. Did Supreme Court renew the order of the plaintiffs? What did Supreme Court do on the said 15th February, 2023. The Supreme Court did not grant their application for renewal, but rather adjourned the case for 22nd of February for further proceedings and consolidations of all the interested parties in the case.

The legal and natural implications of this scenario is that, there’s absolutely no further Order restraining the CBN from going ahead with its plans, decisions, and full implementation of its new rules and policies in accordance with its constitutional duties.

That is to say, the deadline for the old Naira notes remains irreversible. What it means is that; there’s no legal impediments, no obstacles or restrictions against the CBN from enforcing its rules about the use of the new Naira.

The President in his broadcast did not disobey any Supreme Court order when he said only 200 Naira Note should be allowed back and co-exist with new redesign Naira notes till April. Mr President has litany of SANs in his Cabinet who are in a better position to advise him. He could not have made that broadcast without seeking legal opinion on this issue before the court.

I urge all Nigerians and Banks to give Mr President, APC and CBN the necessary support to make this policy work. There is no time that is right to introduce such policies of Government. Let us endure and co-operate with the Federal Government and APC to get it right. We are passing through a lot. But I believe with the cooperation of everyone, we will get it right. This Policy is not meant to be against anyone.

The frontline candidate for Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency election, Hon. Bright Osemeka (Nwachinemelu) Friday in Onitsha has received royal blessings from the prestigious Otu Agbalanze Onicha Ado n’Idu.

Hon. Osemeka who paid a consultative visit to the prestigious group said he came to solicit for their prayers and intimate them of his intention to represent Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency in the forthcoming February 25 election.

Nwachinemelu, who was accompanied to the event by his amiable wife, Lady Angel Osemeka (Ugodibeze), stated that he understands the efficacy of their prayers and support in his quest to represent the good people of Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency, saying that as a grassroot leader he was fully prepared in delivering accountable legislative representation.

He held that his achievements as the youngest Chairman of Onitsha North Local Government some years ago are still there for all to see, adding that under his watch nothing will be spared to improve lives and livelihood through scholarship awards, facilitation of enduring public infrastructural projects, upskilling and knowledge transfer programs for youths, etc.

Responding on behalf of the prestigious Otu Agbalanze Onicha, Chief Ezenwa Okwusogu said; “Hon Bright Osemeka is a prominent son of Onitsha and we are proud to identify with him. We have no doubt, he will do well if elected”.

The prestigious, Otu Agbalanze later prayed for the actualisation of Nwachinemelu’s ambition, and thereafter gave a blessed kolanut privileged to married couples only in accordance to contemporary culture and lifestyle of Onicha Ado ancient city, extolling him for his issue base campaign devoid of rancor and name calling.

Awka- With about 9 days to the forthcoming Presidential polls, the State Presidential Campaign Coordinator, Senator Mrs Margrey Okadigbo, has assured that the ruling party would mobilise APC women with door-to-door mobilisation to woo voters as part of a strategy to deliver the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.


Senator Mrs Okadigbo stated this on Thursday in Awka at the interactive Session with All the APC Women Local Government and Ward Leaders, Women Stakeholders.

She called on APC women to do everything legally possible to ensure they deliver the Presidential Candidate of the Party and his running mate Senator. Kashim Shettima and other APC Candidates at the Poll.

Senator Mrs Okadigbo noted that we have reached a critical stage of the electioneering campaign. The success of Presidential Rally was as a result of Ward mobilisation of the Party Members. We want to replicate the success of that Presidential Rally at Poll by making sure we (Women Leaders and Stakeholders) put everything in place to give our Candidate a resounding success.

Her words: “I will give every necessary support so that whatever we can do to charge our women to go out and canvas for votes, let us go all out and get it done.

She maintained she wants to ensure women’s active participation in the 2023 general election and leadership of the country. “By your active participation, we will be able to identify the talents among you so that we can hunt those talents to help us build this party and country.’’

In his Remark, Senator Emma Anosike said the main objective of this interaction with Ward Women Leaders and Local Government Leaders is to ensure women’s active participation in the 2023 general election and to deliver their polling units for the party in the election. He maintained that there will be a cash reward for every ward delivered in this election by the PCC.

According to Hon Sir Azuka Okwuosa said,”nobody needs to tell him the importance of women in the political process as women and Youths have the largest voting bloc in Nigeria.

“Women are less corrupt. So, I am challenging you to provide that leadership by giving your 100 per cent at the general election next year for APC. I charge you to display the unique attribute that God has endowed in you so we can succeed. If you want to be relevant, deliver your unit and I believe you can,”. And there will be reward for all who did that, He concluded.

On her part, the State Woman Leader of the party, Mrs Maria Ejielo, noted that the APC women will be the bedrock of mobilization and campaign for the party. “Our strategy is top-notch and we will gather all the votes from every home, unit, ward, and local government to ensure the victory of APC and Aswiaju. “We know where the votes are and we will mobilise them to vote for our party.

In their response, the large gathering of women unanimously threw their weight and support behind Senator Mrs Okadigbo, saying they know they can trust her judgement as she led them and Anambra APC into the Presidential Poll. They assured her of their unalloyed loyalty and expressed their confidence in her leadership and guidance.

DR OKELEKWE CONTINUES TO PROMOTE PEACEFUL ELECTION IN NIGERIA & AFRICA AT LARGE

The frontline Candidate for Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency election under the All Progressives Congress party has continued the touring of the 15 electoral wards in Onitsha North Local Government Area.
In the visited wards so far which comprise of Wards 1,6,7,11,13 and 14, Hon. Osemeka was received with tremendous joy by the constituents who pledged solidarity with his "Rescue Mission" to liberate Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency from lackluster representation.

Sir Menuba explained that the club took time to study and monitor charitable and philanthropic activities of High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo which he said were unrivaled, and deemed it proper to honour him with the award. APC Plans Mega Rally For Tinubu In Anambra State

The All Progressives Congress, APC, says all is set for the Presidential Campaign of Bola Tinubu billed for Tuesday, 31st January 2023.

The rally will take place at Ekwueme Square, Awka, the State capital.


Briefing newsmen after the inspection of the rally venue, the State Chairman, of the Presidential Campaign Committee, Senator Margarey Okadigbo said “arrangements were in top gear to ensure the successful hosting of its candidate.”

Okadigbo said that they had perfected a strategy to take the party back to the grassroots.

Insecurity: Anambra Community Mounts 50 CCTV Cameras.

In a bid to secure their lives and properties, under the prevalent insecurity situation in the country, nay Anambra state and its rural communities,the people of Alor community in Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, home town of the incumbent Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige have saturated their major streets and strategic locations in the area with no fewer than 50 CCTV cameras as a major stride towards checkmating insecurity in the area, ANAMBRAPEOPLE reports.

President-General of Alor Peoples’ Convention, APC, Chief Uzoma Igbonwa (Okife) who disclosed this during the maiden Ito-Ogbo Alor Kingdom (Senior Citizens Day), explained that the installation of the CCTV cameras has made Alor one of the safest communities in the state.

According to Sir Igbonwa, “Alor London is number one in security of lives and property. We have 50 solar powered CCTV cameras all over Alor community. We have a security control station where we monitor Alor from a television”.

Flanked by Ngige himself, the traditional ruler of Alor Kingdom, Igwe Collins Chukwumesili, their legal adviser, Bona Oraekwe Esq., Idis of Alor and other town union executive members, Igbonwa further explained: “I can see what is happening at the streets of Alor from my IPAD anywhere I am”.

“Security is very important. It is the cardinal duty of Government to secure lives and property of her people but without government help, we have to rather embark on self-help and we have done so much security wise for Alor people”.

Octogenarians and Nonagenarians in the area for their upkeep, as my own personal contribution to the welfare of the aged ones in our midst”.

Labour Party senatorial candidate for Anambra North, Dr Tony Nwoye has mocked the circulation of a purported agreement between him and Prince Arthur Eze alleged to have been reached between them prior to the 2017 governorship election in Anambra State.

Noting that the signature in the fake agreement was not that of Dr Nwoye, Mr Egbuna Nduanya, the media aide of the medical doctor cum politician averred that bringing up the issue again was another move by threatened political gladiators in Anambra North to scandalize him ahead of the 2023 February National Assembly election.

While noting the involvement of a National Assembly office holder in circulating the fake agreement with Arthur Eze as a way of currying favour despite two failed terms, Dr Nwoye said:

Senator Mrs Magreth Okadigbo (Odibeze) today in Awka Anambra State Capital inaugurated the 400 membership of the Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 general election.

Inaugurating the Anambra State Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Mrs Okadigbo called on electorate of the state to vote for all the Candidates of the Party in the State and most importantly the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Shettima for the continuity and consolidation of APC and President Buhari achievements.

Senator Mrs Okadigbo assured the Local Government Coordinators that the party will “run a unified campaign, a programme that will involve the presidential candidate, the Senatorial Candidates, the Federal House of Representatives Candidates and the House of the Assembly Candidates. There will not be discrimination as all the candidates are as important as each other.”

She urged the Local Government Campaign Council to co-opt in as many members as they could. She charged them not to shut the down on any member of the Party. The APC in the Anambra, She said never again will be allowed to wallow in division under Her watch as Mama APC.

Responding on Behalf of other Coordinators, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba said, “We are proud to be inaugurated today. We accept to work for our presidential candidate, Senator Ahmed TINUBU, and his running mate, His Excellency Kashim Shettima. We have an arduous task. In this Election, APC has the Best Presidential Candidate based on Experience, capacity, Human Capital development and acceptance. He promised to do their best to make sure they deliver The Party in Anambra State.


On his Part, Ekwusigo Local Government Coordiantor, His Excellency Hon Sir Azuka Okwuosa promised to put in his wealth of experience in making sure APC is delivered in Ekwusigo Local Government and Anambra State. *NIGERIAN DIPLOMAT, AMB. ELIJAH ONYEAGBA PhD RECEIVES “AFRICA HOUSING DIPLOMAT AWARD”.*


Activities in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja were momentarily brought to a halt as Africa's crème de la crème in the Housing Sector stormed the International Conference Center Abuja for the 2022 Africa Housing Awards and Induction into the Africa Housing Hall of Fame.


His Excellency, Amb. Elijah Onyeagba PhD, Nigeria's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and the Head of the Nigerian Diplomatic Mission to the Republic of Burundi, won the 2022 Award Category of "Africa's Housing Diplomat of the Year".


Amb. Onyeagba PhD emerged the winner of the Award after a rigorous process of evaluation which saw him soar above 53 other High Commissioners and Ambassadors across West, East, Central and South Africa to emerge the African Diplomat of the year in the housing industry.


The Award ceremony witnessed high profile personalities across the continent such as His Excellency Hon. Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) the Deputy Governor Of Yobe State, Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote in a representative capacity as his company, the Dangote Group won the African Most Customer friendly Award in the Housing Industry.


In his acceptance speech, Amb Elijah Onyeagba PhD dedicated the award to President Muhammed Buhari for appointing him as Nigeria's Ambassador, thus giving him the opportunity to represent Nigeria in East Africa and beyond. He has over seventeen years of experience in commercial, corporate, retail and mortgage banking; real estate, research, marketing, leadership and is an expert in the structuring and advisory on construction finance with specialty in residential/affordable housing projects.


He was the Group Head (AGM) in charge of Real Estate Transactions in ASO Savings & Loans Plc - Nigeria’s largest originator of over seventeen thousand mortgage assets under the sale of a Federal Government Housing scheme. He had the additional responsibility of developing affordable housing in Nigeria as well as
overseeing the company business concerns within the Federal Capital Territory, Northern and Southern Regions of Nigeria.

#DIPLOMATIC ENGAGEMENT

In keeping with the good international relations between Nigeria and the other African nations, H.E Amb Elijah Onyeagba PhD (The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Burundi ��), his wife, Her Excellency Udo Onyeagba and the Nigerian Embassy Team in Bujumbura recieved in audience The Nigeria Air Force led by Air Commodore Obeya, who were on a mission on behalf of the African First Ladies Peace Mission.

However, the mission which was established in 1997, is an organisation for African First Ladies purposely initiated and approved by the then OAU and now AU to play a supportive role to the African Union, regional organisations, and national governments in fostering peace and reducing conflicts and their effects on the African continent.

Recall that the First Lady of Nigeria, H.E Aisha Buhari who is the 9th President of the Mission, was recently in Burundi �� to discuss issues relating to the goals of the mission.

A Federal High Court sitting in Awka, the Anambra State capital, has nullified the Nomination and Primary election of Mrs Ifeyinwa Anazonowu as the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Anambra North Senatorial District for the 2023 elections.


Justice Mohammed of Federal High Court Awka, who read the judgment, also declared as “irregular, null and void” the nomination of Mrs Ifeyinwa Anazonowu of APC as the Senatorial Candidate of the Party for Anambra North.

The court held that Mrs Ifeyinwa Anazonowu was never a member of APC in the first place and She has voluntarily resigned from the contest before the Primary took place.

The Judge also ordered APC and INEC to accept Engr Nelson Onubogu as the candidate for Anambra North Senatorial seat for 2023 elections.

The court has asked INEC to recognize Engr Nelson Onubogu as the candidate of APC that the defendant, Mrs Ifeyinwa Anazonowu is not a registered member of the Party and her nomination forms were full of irregularities based on the evidences before the court.

The Court ordered Mrs Ifeyinwa Anazonowu to pay Engr Nelson Onubogu the sum of One Million Naira as a cost.
