4. Facebook friends. You can't be Igbo and have only/fewer Ijaw or Yoruba Facebook friends.

5. Comments on their Facebook walls dating as far back as 4-5months; who commented, what did they comment.

6. Other.

Okay. There are ways we can definitely work with them. However a limitation is that this already existing groups were not necessarily made to pool resources and carry out projects in this neglected communities.

I can't comment on this because I don't have enough knowledge on the matter of Ijaw langauges but i'm sure that if they're considered one then there mjst be clear similarities in their languages

Although this is a good plan, I suggest you could also create this in tandem with already established groups. The Igbo history since 3000 BC group or something like that on Facebook already have big followings with representatives from different Igbo groups. You can work with them with this specific goal in mind.

You don't even need to go in search of these people. Many are already there...but yeah, that's a good idea.

Ijaw langauge encompasses several different reated langauges like Izon, Kalabari,Apoi etc. And you already knwo that there are people who speak these languages so stop playing games

I can't agree with this there were definitely and are still Ijaw speaking communities in these areas the existence of sizeable Igbo populations doesn;t discount Ijaw populations in these areas.

Ubani sons and daughters served in the Government of Eastern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria prior to independence and none ever registered Ijaw as their ethnicity. Then you register your ethnicity so that due representation can be assessed

Supremos has forwarded this recommendation today 7th September, 2021. I support, as I have years ago aired a similar view that a similar pan Igbo group should be set up to arrest Ohanaeze's obvious failure in connecting the Igbo nation.

This earlier move was shot down by some Ohanaeze members on Nairaland here back then. However, if I have your backing I will go ahead to create an Igbo Outreach page. What do you all think?

Thank you this statement alone should put the rest of the conversation to rest, Igbos depended either on Brass or Bonny to trade with the Europeans so it's only natural that they set up base there and even tried to conquer parts of these areas so it's no surprise that Bonny and Brass both have sizeable Igbo populations

Igbos aren't trying to claim any minority groups only trying to claim other Igbo groups and frankly it is in the best interest of the izon, Isoko, Urhobo and any other Niger Deltan group to unite with the Igbo at least politically because this gives them a larger and better stance on decision making and on development. My overall view is for the whole south to unite but for that to happen we must start with the Igbos and their splinter groups.
