How do they know your educational history to the present level and how do they get your email address and phone number for feedback? What about your key skills such as being a fast learner, being able to work within a given scope, being able to work to meet a given in a given time, etc?
They could easily make provisions via their e-forms for filling such details.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nlng November 2016 Siwes Application Is Now Open. by pass111(m): 5:48pm On Nov 11, 2016
UJIC:
Okay bro, first of all, a C.V (curriculum vitae) is a brief description of someone's educational and professional (or work) history as well as personal skills and contact address (though some people add personal details such as D.O.B, marital status, gender and other personal details) which a job seeker uses to introduce himself to his target employee (before first or official meeting). A C.V is sometimes called a Resumé.

A student should have a C.V to introduce his educational history and work experience (for those who have had any work experience) and his skills which makes him a good candidate for the job he desires.

I hope you're cleared now.
Of course I know what a C. V is. Going for an industrial training doesn't sound like you are looking for a Job but to acquire skills, so I still don't see the essence of demanding for Cv from students specifically undergraduates who on average wouldn't boast of any skill which would be of relevance to the company of interest.
I stand to be corrected though.

Hi all. SIWES/ I.T placement into NLNG for NOVEMBER 2016 has started at the time of posting this comment being Thursday, November 10 2016. The application is expected to last for two (2) weeks and it is done online.

To apply, goto Nlng.com and click careers. Scroll down and click on SIWES/INTERNSHIP then follow the procedures. I can't give you more information on the procedures because of network issues (maybe due to the site is too busy)

You are expected to have your
1) Student I.D card (valid)
2) SIWES letter
3) Last semester school fees receipt
4) Your C.V
5) Your recent passport photograph
6) Your result (may not be necessary)
All in electronic form because it will be uploaded online.

My advice: if you're interested, try and register in the early hours of the day, say 9am. It doesn't mean you cannot register during afternoon but to avoid stress due to their site's traffic.

Good luck to us all.
Bro, why exactly are they demanding for C. V from students, I mean can you explain please.
PhonesSamsung Is Offering Up To $100 To Customers Who Exchange Their Note7 For Another by pass111(op): 3:29pm On Oct 13, 2016
It is no longer news that the Samsung Galaxy Note7 overheats and spontaneously burst into flames especially when being charged.
After over 35 reported incidents of overheating, Samsung is now offering up to $100 in credit to every customer who exchanges their Note7 for another Samsung smartphone.

The company said so in its updated Note7 recall page which plainly states that the recall has now been expanded to "all Galaxy Note7 devices," and asks consumers with a Note7 to power it down and return it to the place of purchase.
The science behind phone battery fires is actually pretty simple, and fairly well understood. Much like the infamous exploding hoverboards, phones use lithium ion battery packs for their power, and it just so happens that the liquid swimming around inside most lithium ion batteries is highly flammable.
Image result for samsung note 7 explosionIf the battery short-circuits -- say, by puncturing the incredibly thin sheet of plastic separating the positive and negative sides of the battery -- the puncture point becomes the path of least resistance for electricity to flow.

It heats up the (flammable!) liquid electrolyte at that spot. And if the liquid heats up quickly enough, the battery can explode.

Bear in mind that the new offer, which goes live on Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. ET, is only for U.S. customers, as users in other parts of the world have different recall programs in place.

"As a sign of our appreciation for your patience and loyalty, we are offering up to a $100 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets if you exchange your Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone, less any incentive credits already received," Samsung wrote.

Furthermore, if you've already exchanged your Note7 for another Samsung smartphone, you "will receive up to a $75 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets in addition to the $25 you previously received."

Even if you exchange your Note7 for another brand or ask for a refund, you will still receive a $25 bill credit from select carriers and retailers — again, less any incentive credits you've already received.

“We appreciate the patience of our consumers, carrier and retail partners for carrying the burden during these challenging times. We are committed to doing everything we can to make this right,” Tim Baxter, president and COO of Samsung Electronics America, said in a statement.

While the Note7 is now effectively and officially as dead as a doornail, some lingering questions remain. We've asked Samsung for an updated explanation of what, exactly, caused the Note7 issues — currently it seems the company never really found out — but have not yet heard from them.

There's also the question of the financial fallout of the Note7 debacle, which by one estimate could go as high as $17 billion in losses. We'll know more about that in a few months when Samsung releases its earnings report for 2016.

Pls I need help with my Acer aspire E15.
After I changed the screen, the keyboard started misbehaving. First, some buttons like the enter, backspace, I, j, k, m buttons stopped working, a day later buttons like the q and e buttons started pressing repeatedly without me touching them, finally the whole keyboard stopped working.
I took it to the technician who changed the screen initially and he said the keyboard needed to be serviced which he did but the problem persists.

EducationMeanings Of These Filling Station Abbreviations: PMS, AGO, DPK by pass111(op): 7:51pm On Sep 29, 2016
you probably would have come across these abbreviations at one point in time in filling stations.
While there are nairalanders who know their full meanings, I strongly believe that there are those who don't.
For starters, PMS, is what we commonly know as petrol or 'fuel'
AGO is commonly known as diesel or 'gas'.
DPK on the other hand is what we call kerosene.

And their full meanings:

PMS: Premium motor spirit

AGO: Automotive Gas Oil

DPK: Dual Purpose Kerosene

LPFO: Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO).

so next time you hit the filling station tell them to give you PMS, AGO, or DPK at your own peril..lol gringrin grin

EducationI Bet You Didn't Know The Real Name Of This Fruit 'shawshopu' by pass111(op):
First, the name of this fruit is actually soursop and not shawashopu as my Ibo brothers pronounce it.

Soursop, also known as guyabano or graviola, is the fruit of Annona muricata , a broadleaf, flowering, evergreen tree native to Mexico , Cuba, Central America , the
Caribbean islands of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico , and northern South America , primarily
Colombia , Brazil , Peru, Ecuador , Venezuela . Soursop is also produced in all tropical parts of Africa , especially in Eastern Nigeria , Mambilla Plateau and The Democratic Republic of Congo, Southeast Asia and the Pacific . It is in the same genus, Annona , as cherimoya and is in the
Annonaceae family.

Aside from being delicious, soursop has a ton of health benefits. In fact, it is not only the fruit that is nutritious, but also the leaves and the seeds.

I guess it got it's name from the fact that you have to allow the fruit to sour(soften) before you can enjoy it.
