Manny21:Handover date is May 29. Not February please |
Grgton:you can imagine what Makinde is asserting here even without any backing using reliable data. If you allow people like this to preside over their state's census, they would simply sit in their offices and cook up figures to enable them obtain a large monthly allocation from the FG. You can imagine how they have killed LGA administration using state electoral commission to conduct fake election where an opposition is not even given the courtesy of a councillor seat in the entire state. If you ask me, state governments are the biggest problems in this current times |
madridguy:my dear it's a case of a kettle calling pot black. APC too had left no legacy. As it stands, Nigeria currently has no Treasury. It has been looted dry. Even the trillions of naira loans have been looted leaving the successor with a lot of financial challenges to worry about. |
Mikelarteta:That would not have been a problem. But You fire him, he starts a new ministry and takes all the members with him |
As we dey do Dem e dey pain Dem As e dey pain Dem, we dey do Dem |
I read with disgust how the op who reported the case coined it as youths in Warri protest .... https://www.nairaland.com/7366446/youths-protest-against-efcc-warri This is a clear insult on the Warri youths as not everyone of us condone the madness called yahoo business. In fact, EFCC struck too late cos a lot of harm had already been done. SARS which would have done something about it, merely used their office as a vehicle for extortion and torture. Warri and particularly satellite communities are hidespots for internet fraudsters. They openly flaunt their wealth, erect houses overnight, building hotels, shopping complexes, thereby making life hard for genuine hustlers. In short, EFCC came too late

You forgot to mention that he told you all these things when you both were drinking beer together. Did he also not tell you that he's been using one toothbrush in the last 20 years and he's been using only one pair of shoes since 1990? You also forgot to mention that he has only one trousers and shirt in his wardrobe. Only a fool broadcast a message without first confirming it or making attempt to verify the source. |
asanausana91:And you think that makes you smart. For you to assume that Google is now an oracle to be consulted when one needs to verify facts. |
Obidients are focused this time around. We are more interested in Peter Obi being president. My vote goes to Peter Obi |
Davidf555:I know it will boil down to this: tribalism. You might want to paint Obi an Igbo president. True, he is Igbo by tribe. But Obi is not running as an Igbo slot. If Igbos are supporting him, it's a plus since a man who has no followership in his immediate family is incapable of leading an entire community. At the same time, it isn't true that all his supporters are Igbos. The Afenifere leaders who endorsed him a few days back, are they Igbos? Obi is a moving train. Only God can stop him. But as it stands, God does not lie. FYI, iam not even an Igbo man. |
For the first time, your post made it to the trending section on Nairaland. Peter Obi is promoting you. Show him some regards. |
christistruth01:is a dead Buhari not better than this mannequin we have in Aso Rock. At least, we would have a vibrantOsibanjo in charge Just imagine the mess we are in. |
asanausana91:The only people I remembered that used their family names to swear they would not leave their parties were Tinubu and Atiku Tinubu swore he would live and die in A.D. But later, we saw him in AC. Later ACN. Today he is in APC. Atiku swore he would never leave PDP. But he later betrayed the party and joined ACN, later APC. Today he is back to PDP as the standard bearer. If you have real issues. Let's discuss. I don't rely on beer parlour gossips to draw my conclusion. |
Eriokanmi:God bless you. |
asanausana91:If leaving one party to another to contest election is now lying, show me one presidential candidate who has not cross carpet. Nigeria has no provision for independent candidacy, otherwise, Obi would have been a perfect example.. As for the wristwatch issue. I don't know where you get that from. But even at that, the lesson is learnt. |
Stockholm syndrome is a psychological and emotional condition in which someone who is oppressed and tortured eventually begins to admire his tormentor and accepts it as normal. Since Peter Obi joined the presidential race, supporters and urchins of the old order, people who can hardly afford two meals a day, have ignored the same people who caused them pains and decided to chase after the wind while glorifying the same rogues who are the sources of our predicaments. Obi is a liar, they chant like some brainwashed urchins Here is a chronicle of some of the alleged lies of Peter Obi 1. Obi said he left over 70 billion naira in the state Treasury while handing over to his successor. Rather than admire the man for his financial discipline, the Stockholm syndrome patients attacked him. To them, such a thing is abnormal. So rather than confirm it, they tagged him a liar. "I have never stolen any public funds, nor took any money that I am not legally entitled to". For his opponents, this is hard to swallow. Their benefactors are super rich bullion vans wielding machines. To them, one who use the money judiciously is abnormal. "Nigeria is a failed state due to insecurity and economic hardship faced by the people". I am still waiting for you to tell us the lies in this statement. "Crude oil worth billions is being stolen everyday". Even Buhari confirmed this. So where is the lie? "I don't receive monthly pensions as an exgovernor." This one shock una abi? Emilokan was one of the first governor who designed an annual pension for himself before he handed over which he has been collecting since he left office in 2007. "I don't give chinchin" These were not the exact words of Peter Obi, but used by his supporters to show he's financially disciplined. Obi has stated that he's generous and philanthropic. He's severally donated money to schools, NGOs and so on.. Na only good thing dey sell itself. That's why, unlike the regular politicians who lure supporters with money, the Obidient supporters are sponsoring themselves and the presidential candidate. Whether you like it or not, Nigeria must work again. On Obi-Datti mandate we stand

Let him try it in Nigeria. The court will fine him for waisting the time of the judges. Op, get ready to be sued for posting his picture here without permission. |
And you still want us to click this one anyhow.

Everytime I look at this photo, I am baffled. A presidential candidate on a consultation visit to an Emir dozed off in the middle of the consultation. No be juju be that? Did you just say, God forbid bat thing?

KingKO22:Peter Obi is your next president. God has already gazetted it. Know this and know peace. |
Critics and opponents of Peter Obi are always quick to pick holes in whatever he does or says. When they wake up in the morning, they silently pray that Obi makes that one mortal slip they could hold or use against him. Has Obi disappointed them? No. Over and over again Obi has shown he clearly knows the enormity of the problems we are in. He has also not told us that he is a superman or a magician who would simply conjure them off. He is not making bogus promises of how he shall bring the naira at par with the dollar or sell fuel at 40 naira per liter or ensure steady power supply within one year or end insecurity in 6 months. Rather, he assures us he would lead the country to start working again. And that it would take sacrifices. These are certainly realistic tasks. When people listen to him, they see a humble man despite his wealth. They see a man who has a genuine love for the country. People have considered his antecedent as governor of Anambra State, his travails and how God vindicated him and how he was able to deliver in the midst of the hawks around him then. People admire his financial discipline. He and the late President Yaradua were the only former governors reported to have left money in their state Treasury while handing over. This even made him look like a super human as it is well known that their counterparts often hand over huge debts to their successors. So, as it stands, no amount of propaganda will make us overlook these noble qualities. We know that somehow, somewhere along the line, he is going to make mistakes. Some of his previous indiscretions will be brought to light. Dear Obidients, let's not relent. We are on the right course. Our incoming president Peter Obi is not a superman. He is a human being. A realistic human being. *********************************** NIGERIA MUST WORK AGAIN.

Anything online that is free, me I dey suspect am well. Bad boy don use free offer take finish people. You supply your banking details and they complete the task. What I know is that if it is completely Free, op will go and announce to all his local government people say he wan empower them with 2k each just by clicking. plaindealer:Sensible people are charting how we can move forward as a people, how the country can be pulled out of the deep mess it currently finds itself, you are still stuck to the primitive primordial politics of fanning hate and tribal disharmony which has kept us comatose for decades. We have allowed myopic and selfish politicians who don't care about our welfare to decide our date. Since after the civil war when you have codedly decided to sideline the Igbo man from the presidency where has your tribalism taken the country to? You are probably a graduate without a job or an undergraduate made to sit at home due to poor decision making by ineffectual leaders. You or your kinsmen have probably not have a nutritious meal in a long while. Your little savings is diminishing rapidly due to high cost of living. Our roads and other infrastructures are decaying due to lack of maintenance. Our youths have taken to fraud and other crimes just to survive Insecurity is now second nature. These and many more have been building up since you decided to sideline a section of the country. The Igbo man is not your problem. You haven't even given him the chance to try him out and he failed you. So desist from this online display of stupidity and face the real issues foisted on us by ineptitude leadership. If you have an alternative, show us why he must be selected. Smallers countries which started to be realistic about their problems have started solving them. But here we are programmed to fight tribal wars. Our corrupt leaders enjoy these sort of senseless quarrels with which we busy ourselves while they keep on stealing. If you are not matured enough to engage in sensible discussion, go and learn some sense Thank you. |
Op please go and change your drugs |
Hope it's not Tinubu's bullion van sha |
The dwelling place of a BAT always smell of urine

plaindealer:We Nigerians already know the difference. The messages are there for all the blind to see and the deaf to hear. Peter Obi is just too humble to begin to attack personalities, especially a man he stood as running mate for four years ago. Are you expecting him to boastfully say that he is more thrifty in spending money than Atiku? That he is less corrupt than him? That he's more modern in approach to issues? That he has more selfless supporters? These and many more are obvious already. His central focus is to tell Nigerians what has gone wrong over the years and that he has the antidote to them. He's not interested in openly attacking his opponents. He leaves that to his supporters and we are doing a yeoman's job in that regard. |
The Obidients have always been the only opposition voice so far. We have long realised that both PDP and APC have the same agenda and don't mean well for Nigeria. We were just waiting for a balanced figure who fits into the module to actualize our aspirations. We see that character in Peter Obi. Currently, he's not even the third force. He is the first force. Except some last minute magic occurs, obi is clearly our next president. |
AntiTerrorist:Protest with your votes next year. Let's send these wicked leaders to retirement. |
Since they took Npower from Osibanjor and put it in the hands of this woman, it became ineffective. First, it took over one year after application before they were finally deployed. Working devices like tablets that was part of the package for Batches A And B we're not even mentioned with this set. Payment had been very epileptic. Some are still battling to receive their first allowances. No severance package. So how is this an enpowerment when the 30k a month stipend cannot even sustain one for one week? The programme missed the Osibanjor touch. |
