baby124:You don't even understand politics. |
anonymous1759:When you run your mouth to condemn them, who will protect you when these criminal elements descends on your family members and properties in the village? Who will rescue your parents when they are kidnapped? You see, this country has a serious security challenge, north east west south. But rather than sympathize with victims and chart a way forward, we all politicize it and turns it into an ethnicity and political war. In the north, they don't criticize the terrorists Boko Haram and bandits. When Sunday Igboho did his own in the west, every one was silent. In the east, people obey Monday sit at home not because it was the right thing to do,but because everyone was scared. Clearly, the government and security outfits have failed. Nigeria is clearly a failed state. |

Peter Obi has oftentimes been revealed to be a very decent and accountable person. This is the very reason his co contenders are jittery cos those ones are bullion van masters and Harlibutton scammers |
Abeg, write GRAPHIC PHOTOS This is too horrible. |
And the police self no even shame to talk am. Over one year without salary and Dem never die? They should stop pretending. The roja they collect from the same okada men and motorists is more than their salaries |
Teacher1776:You can say that again. |
The Effurun-Warri roundabout has often been described as the gateway to the oil city of Warri. Despite being a federal infrastructure, the road is not getting the necessary attention it deserves. Nevertheless, the state government ought to play a viral role either in ensuring those responsible for it do their work, or does its part in ensuring the road is fixed. Warri metropolis is pivotal to the overall economy of Delta state. Governor Okowa, since he became governor concentrated efforts in developing only the state capital, Asaba to the detriment of Warri and environs which produce the resources for which it collects 15% derivatives from the federal government.. Even DESSOPADEC which was set up to develop oil producing areas is simply a conduit pipe for stealing. Pictures attached courtesy of Facebook user

In one of his incoherent speeches, Tinubu's solution to ending insecurity is by recruiting 50 million youth into the army and keep on feeding them with agbado and cassava. Nigeria will be in a much deeper mess if this kind of person is in charge of the country's affairs. |
If Obi fails to get the maximum number of votes next year then we may have to reconsider our democratic system as faulty. We may need to evolve other means through which a genuine leader can emerge. Nothing justify any sane person voting for PDPAPC

He can now go and search for his virgin Israeli girl to marry.. The story of this man is an eye-opener on why one should not easily give up in life. One way or the other God will visit your case. Just a little patience. Have faith. |
APC and PDP will just be carrying on as if they are two different bodies. I have long realised that they are one and the same. The real opposition is a candidate not in any of these two parties. They have so perfected their arrangements in such a way that in any election the loser doesn't lose anything at all. It's all a sort of arrangee by the cabals to ensure that one of their own gets the post. That's why politicians can easily switch between the two parties. Today when you look at APC, it look like the former PDP. Same people in new attires. |
I thought they said disvirgin is not an approved English word. |
Wallahi. This country is on autopilot. |
Two political bloggers. They just want to use us to chase clouts. |
TakeNigeriaBack:Tinubu is now the latest god you worship. Or why don't you change the name from Eko to Tinubu? Is Tinubu even an indigene of Lagos State? |
dangerousd071:Any right thinking human being should support Obi. We cannot continue to do things in the same old ways and yet expect a different result. |
While officers of the Nigerian police force are notorious for being overtly money conscious, it is therefore surprising to read that a police officer donated a wheelchair to a cripple boy in Rivers state. According to a Facebook user, Delta First Media, A Group of Policemen in Rivers State joined one of their member to deliver a wheelchair to a crippled boy at Omerelu Community in Rivers State to enable him follow other children to school. The name of the police officer is Christopher attached to the Octopus strike force unit in ikwerre local government.

Rozross:Just like that. How gullible can you be? |
Bradford111:Your response showed you were not even committed. You didn't even make any attempt at persuading her to reconsider even if you didn't mean it. Both of you were playing each other. Game over |
internationalman:Chelsea fan spotted |
There's still a lot of leakages that need plugging. If government is to ensure accountability, all payment processes must be fully digitalised. A lot of sharp practices still occur in revenue generation offices which in some cases cut government earning by 50 percent or more |
Tinubu go vex ooo. All those who collected mobilisation cash must make refund Sunday Politics: The Christians And 2023 Elections by Passionnn: 10:35am Whether we accept it or not, religion has been a strong factor in Nigeria's politics. Since returning to democratic rule in 1999, there has been an attempt at rotating power between the two major religions in the country- Islam and Christianity. There appears to be a slap on the faces of christians this time around when the two major political parties, PDP and APC adopted Muslims as their candidates. To add salt to the wound, the ruling APC opted for Muslim/Muslim ticket. The only glimmer of hope the christians have is the emergence of Peter Obi as Labour party presidential candidate. But the overlying political structure gives Obi a very slim chance to win. HOW OBI CAN WIN One obvious way obi can win is to fully mobilise the christian voters to vote for him. As it stands, it's 3 Muslim presidential candidates to just Obi the major christian candidate. If the christians were to unite behind obi, it would be an easy win for him as the other 3 Muslim candidates will have to share the Islamic votes among them. THE HURDLES One major hurdle is due to the politics of ethnicity. A Yoruba christian might likely vote for a Yoruba Muslim candidate because they are from the same tribe. Also the teaching of Christianity does not promote disunity and hatred for non adherents unlike the Islamic teachings which promotes suspicion and hatred for non Muslims. Consequently, christians vote not on the basis of religion. But this needs to be reexamined because if we fail to do the right thing, Christian will be out of presidency for 16 years. During which time, more Deborahs will be burnt to death in the guise of blasphemy. More Leah Sharibus will be kidnapped and married off illegally by their abductors. More herdsmen invasion of southerners farms will occur. IN CONCLUSION Nigeria has survived this long because there have been deliberate policies to carry every segment of the country along. I have to whip up religious sentiments here because it appears the christians have been too docile politically. At least, we can express our dissatisfaction through the instrumentality of the ballot. |

AdamuKD:Thank you brother. We christians always like to shy away from this truth because we believe we might be able to win them over when we give them support or associate with them since Christianity teaches tolerance. We shy away from the fact that the christians are in the majority and most enlightened. We preach compassion. Give the right cheek to the person who slaps you on the left. But how have they responded? They not only slap you on the right cheek but also cut off your head. Consequently we must keep on preaching this new gospel based on the current reality as it is obviously becoming too much. Nigeria belongs to all of us. A single group or individual must not continue to act as if they are the master Lords over the others. Once again thank you for your comment. |
