Guys, i need information about Pan Ocean Oil as i am about to attend an interview for an opening there. I dont know much about them as per their structure, type of oil coy i.e whether it is an oil major, salary , opportunities and exposure and job security? An advice from anyone with the inner workings of this company will be of immense help. Note, am moving for a middle cadre opportunity there but i also have a well paying job with job security. Now, let me share a personal family story to help other single & married ladies out there to learn. Firstly, I am d last in the family, and I am working and earning good money from my work and personal businesses, etc. why am i telling this? to let u knw that my family is able and not reliant on any one family member. again, i am d only one still living with another family member; my 2nd immediate elder broda, which its becos he is still single, & there is no need for me to rent an apartment. ok, i have one hostile sister-in-law who acts d same way d wife op narrated acts, even though we hardly visit she & her husband cos everyone is busy & engaged such dt i even feel so thirsty to see & be with my nieces & nephews, bt no time.

dis sister-in-law acts so hostile u wud wonder wots her problem, y she is eating herself cos of ppl dat kia less or not. but unknowingly for her, her husband, my brother is even tired of her ill character & made move to divorce her & remarry, so he strted a serious affairs with one girl, nd finally went to pay d girl's dowry, & we got to find out & my father said over his dead body. becos he do warn us dat once ur married, no going back, so look well. my mom said never despite dis lady's hostile & shabby character. me & my siblings said, never and even fought with him secretly. so he went behind with his friends to pay d dowry & my father found out & went to the new girls family with my brother's wedding pics, his pic with d wife & kids to shw d parents of d ne girl, & warned them to tell their daughter to keep off dt his son is married legally & traditionally, & nothing like divorce in his home, so that ws d end of it.

dis lady never knew abt dis till date even as i write dis, & will never knw cos we did it for our family image & progress. & she & her husband are living happily nw. but in her ignorance, she still keeps her hostile life towards us, & her husband has tried to no avail, but she never knew dat if nt for us the in-laws, she wud have been somewhere crying her eyes out cos my brother as we later learnt, instructed his lawyer to commence a divorce case against her, which ws stopped after our intervention. all dis she never knew.

All you hear him say is ' we would industralise Akwa Ibom' How and when is what is left for us to decipher. Our homeland earns more than all the North Eastern states combined and we cannot pay the basic minimum wage of 18,000.00.I am privy to know that our wage bill (Civil Servants ) in 2009 wasnt more than 1, 300,000,000.00 and even if it has increased since then, at what percentage and is the increase commensurate or more than what the state earns AS ALLOCATION FROM THE FEDERATION ACCOUNT?WE SING PRAISES OF THIS AKPABIO WITHOUT TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE FACT THAT HE COLLECTS ABOUT 24-29 BILLION AS ALLOCATION FROM THE FEDERATION ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH AND HE HAS ONLY ROAD PROJECTS TO SHOW FOR THIS HUGE SUMS.We should start holding our public officials accountable, praise when we need to praise and criticise when there is a basis for criticisms.To me, akpabio should show direction to Rochas Okorocha as he sits on more funds than Okorocha does.

The IPP at Ibom currently evacuates 80MW out of its installed capacity of 191MW. 56 of this goes to Uyo while the rest goes to other states through the national grid. The idle capacity of 111MW is as a result of the limitation of the transmission lines between Eket and Uyo which is the property of the Federal Government. Until the FG inproves transmission capacity in line with the power sector roadmap, it is no use for us to keep building IPP's as this can be likened to a farmer with no access roads to his farm and whose produce thereby gets rotten at the farm for lack of transportation.

Akwa ibom election results shows that massive rigging is going on unchecked by the electroral officers or done with their collaboration.Imagine the population of Akwa ibom state that they will pull 300,000 and above for 1 party.Check the votes from Lagos or Kano states;is their votes for their senate elections up to 300,000 ?These states had more people registered than Akwa Ibom and are more politically sophistucated than Akwa Ibom in terms of Political Mobilisation.What a mess to INEC AND THE CORRUPT POLICE authorities that are in Godswill Akpabios pocket.What value is Alloysius Etuk to the Akwa ibom people.This is a man that doesnt attend plenary and hasnt made any contribution that i know or hear of since he arrived at the senate through fraud.Helen Esuene also pulled over 200,000 votes,This is puzzling as these characters dont have such cloud.It goes to show that rigging is going on unabated and is left unchecked.The hand of Godswill Akpabio is seen in all of this as i know that he is preparing for his own rigging in a massive way for 26th.That man called Godswill does things unchallenged and gets away with it in this country and that state.FOLKS,WE WERENT VIGILANT YESTERDAY but on 26th, we have to as we need to vote Godswill out of that state.He should stand very far away from the Hiltop mansion as d repercusions of his fraud will get to him.That Man is a common rouge and he has rigged in his cronies as reps and senators.God hel pAkwa Abasi Ibom State.

Based on newspaper reports cos i havent read the content of the judgement, the election was held by his lordship not have have taken place in 2007 and the position of whether Govs that did a rerun will end their tenure in April is not final as the Govs have appealed against the decision of the Federal High Court jos which had the Segun Oni as a party and we all know the Gov's will test it to the supreme court barring time constraint.

My one cent is this :At any point in time you encounter anything that will make u raise your voice to attract your anger issues, control yourself and keep quiet.Try to overlook so many things .Make sure you dont allow people actions to get on your nerves and try to put yourself in peoples shoes before you react to peoples actions.Always weigh actions of people before you respond.Give people the benefit of doubt and try to understand that people are different.With such understanding, you will fare better and deal better with people.Dont always expect your point to stand at all times. Life isnt configured that way .Other people might have a better idea or way of doing things which might be better than what you envisaged.PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE, GRAB IT. Yes, actually they witnesses signed and the lady signed, but the guy didnt sign, the lawyer who officiated it took the papers to each one to sign. It wasnt done in the court but in the lawyers's chamber.
It hurts real bad, apart from petting and trying to make this woman strong, practical solution is what i want for her.

1-No lawyer conducts a marriage , Marriages are conducted at marriage registries across the nation and most of these registries are in local govt headquarters .Marriages are conducted by an official of the marriage registry and not a lawyer as you stated.Are u telling me that marriages are now conducted in Lawyers chambers?thats illogical and its a fraud if it HAD EVER HAPPENED. check your facts

2.The marriage certificate is one long paper and the husband signs first before the wife and both parties sign in their presence and in the presence of their witnesses and its awkward for you to say that the certificate was moved from one person to another to sign differently.The woman should have been observant and unless the registry officials were compromised, non signing of the certificate by the husband couldnt have happened.
The woman had to report to child services in the state she is living or consult a lawyer to help her out. HER CASE is sortable and not too difficult to maintain custody of her kid.
Tell your person to check her info and not give some illogical comments pls

Infact now i will state the fact the way it is. I earn 300k per month gross. I have an official car (with free repairs and servicing), driver, medical for myself+wife+4 children (though i dont have four children). Recharge card of 15k per month, Total fuel voucher of 18k per month. HMMM, What else, productivity bonus for this year was , i cant even remember the rest.

OK, the law firm i worked and did my youth service in was Banwo and Ighodalo, 98 Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos. My masters was International Trade and Investment Law. My colleaugues i left there still earn around the same 300k a month. So i dont get why the poster is doubting.

Let me tell you how i got this Job. I saw an advert in the papers, applied, did interview with about 21 other lawyers and i came out tops and got the job.

I dont know what you guys are talking about. I Was called to bar in 2004. As a corper my first salary was 30k per month. After service, the same law firm was paying me 75k a month. I went abroad and did my masters and came back to that same law firm and was earning 125k per month. Now i am a legal adviser to a firm and i earn over 300k a month. It all boils down to your qualification and what you set out to achieve.

I remember after making a 2-1 in university and law school, i told my self that i would work in one of the best law firms in Nigeria. I went to the internet, got names and started applying. I ended up in the one i like. Even now i am still writing a UK professional course, because in the next 2 years i want to be earning like 600k per month. Some lawyers run away from mathematics, even though the world is evolving towards risk management awareness and financial permutations for corporate survival.

So, as lawyers, you have to be hardworking, determined and spend a fortune on your education and personal development. That way you wont end up earning peanuts. Recently, i wanted to employ a lawyer for my company and during the interviews, i was shocked at the level of performance and wondered if some even went to the same law school i passed through. How can i pay that person even 50k. Its waste of company funds.

The wages of a lawyer is tied to the number of years in practice and your level of networking.I have a colleague that hasnt been under anyone since coming out of Law School and he is comfortable.He started practice from day one on his own.It may be tough but you will get thru.

i simply aligned  with the submission of choseno4.she is a PDP member and as such cannot be impartial. she is a stakeholder in pdp both in her state and at the National level.She is a thorough bred woman ,fearless and forceful but she is a politician.Thats the big minus for her in respect of the job.
The  appointment of a chairman for INEC shouldnt be taken with levity. Its a serious JOB that demands serious and dedicated people.People that truely love this country and we need retired judges of the SUPREME COURT to do that job. We have justices that are unblemished and had served in the supreme court without a stain to their reputation.The job is tasking and we need knowledgeable and firm people who can do the job.
