Intact, religious faith is more likely to change one's character for worse, because faith requires the separation and demonization of others of other faiths.

This woman in any question is good because her inner character is good. Simple.

So u have never read to live peaceably with all including unbeliever even as u are not unequally yoked with them? Being of unequal never mean hate, it simply means don't think, do, or copy their lifestyles. In fact the bible teaches winning them over by love.

And teaching of Hell is just saying the obvious, so people only get offended 'cos they know with their lifestyle they are condemned.

Make fun for all I care, the truth remains that this is a possibility. At least I am sincere enough to see the possibilities while u just make fun. THis is very consistent with the scriptures to interchange names, I can point out different places that this kind of things occurred in the scriptures, but that never mean that there is error for the fact that we do not know enough.

But one good thing about the scripture is that enough is revealed that we might believe, so the ones we dont know much about we just believe in faith while some we get to understand as we grow in our relationship with Christ.

frank317: i dont believe you, i dont want to see you as a lair. but the fact is that so many Christians not do act like this woman. there is no denying that fact the living such a life is part of the christian teachings. but how realistic are they.

The problem with Christianity and many other religions is that they preach love and care for humanity and still counter it, making it difficult to be achieved. Yes, how can love for humanity be achieved when, religious teachings comes with threats (earthly and eternal punishments), calling of unbelivers fools, claiming superiority of belief, asking one not to be equally yoked with unbelievers, making them believe he/she is specially loved by the same God who created every human, thinking he/she is alive and healthy because God loves him more than the dead or sick or because he is sinless (however that is possible, i dont know).

most religions unconsciously promotes selfishness, segregation, self righteousness, harmful superiority complex, hipocricy, deception, forced kindness and projected self hatred.

the fact is that any christian who is able to achieve what the woman above achieve actually took some bold steps away from in-dept religious teachings. Its takes one's personality and learning to achieve love for humanity and not religion or relationship with Christ.

Matt 1; There are only 26 ancestors to Jesus. From Solomon down, the names are of different individuals.
Lk 3; There are 41 ancestors to Jesus. At every stage the individuals are different from that of Matt 1.

This doesn't in anyway negate what I said earlier, truth be told there appear to be contradictions in the bible 'cos somethings are lost in history and many assumptions from the writers.

Remember they were writing to a different audience from us, n many of them never even knew their writings will be read by people who never had fore knowledge of some things, thus the assumptions.

Solomon, the ancestor of Jesus according to Matt 1 and Nathan, the ancestor of Jesus accoording to Lk 3 are they the same person? Or has your own bible corrected that false information.

I believe u understand what lineage means, is Solomon not the son of David who is in the lineage of Jesus. Do u know Solomon was named also named Jedidah? So Nathan could also be one of his name. There are many examples like that in the bible, especially when u are going thru their geanologies n not just this alone.

Do u also know that Saul did not change his name to Paul as many believed, the Greek name for Saul is Paul. So if u do not know before u will think little things like this are contradictions 'cos they are not explained. Know for sure these letters were written to people of old who easily understood this things n there was no reasons for further explanations.

Hmm, u seem to have so many ex-girlfriends, that exactly is the problem with many. One question. The human diploid chromosomal number is 46 i.e 23 chromosomes from each parent. If Jesus wasn't conceived by human conjugation, where did his 23 other chromosomes come from?
