Religion / Pray Without Ceasing by PastorOluT(m): 11:28am On Aug 05, 2015 |
If you perceive that God's powerful spirit is strongly burdening you for prayer, guiding you in prayer, and adding His might and authority to your praying, you know His power is clothing you, even if you do not see His mighty outworking of His answers to your prayer. At times Satan seems able to cast a shadow of darkness over you as you pray and try to minister for God. He seems able to block all awareness on your part for a time of God's presence and power. Is that your experience today? Don't be afraid of these faith moment. Hold steady and pray; labor on in total dependence on God's power even when you can't see or feel it at work. As certainly as you have sensed God's presence and power in the past, just so certainly you will sense it again. You are in the midst of conflict with the power of darkness, your experience is not unique. God's choicest saints have at times had days, weeks, and even months of such darkness, but God's answer always comes again. Don't try to get off the train while you are going through the tunnel, you are still enroute to God's great victory. Hold on and God power will be revealed again. Pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Stay blessed and remain rapturable 1 Like 2 Shares |

Religion / Two Realms by PastorOluT(m): 8:39pm On Aug 01, 2015 |
There are two realms before us: one is the physical world, the other is the spiritual world. With our five senses, we live in the first; with our faith we live in the second. When viewing yourself from your own vantage point, you readily acknowledge you are yet a sinner, unclean and proud, as is the rest of the world. But when viewing yourself in Christ with the eye of faith, you realize your hot temper and hardness are all gone. The problem today is that you must choose daily between these two realms. We human beings are rational, emotional, and volitional in our constitution. Our will is free to choose either of these two worlds, and the one we choose shall be the world we live in. If you rely on the five senses and thereby live in the physical world, you will manifest this world in your life. But if by faith you live in the spiritual world, you will express in your life the spiritual world. In other words, when you are governed by your mind, your feelings and your self-will, you immediately live in Adam; but when you are governed by faith you instantly live in Christ. You are torn between these two polarities: if you rely on feeling, you live in Adam, but if you rely on faith you live in Christ. And when you live in Christ, all that is in Him becomes your experience. The Bible does not teach the doctrine of the eradication of sin. Yet according to God's work and provision and command, no believer should practice sin. We ought to manifest Christ daily, and we should be more than conquerors daily. Nonetheless, the moment we live in our feelings, we fall. We should instead live daily in faith, and thus shall we substantiate all that is in Christ. But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. Religion / Shine Your Light by PastorOluT(m): 1:10pm On Jul 22, 2015 |
The man fell in love with the painting. Its beauty was beyond words. He would give anything to own the painting; to possess its beauty for himself. He bought the painting and took it home with him. Immediately, he began to worry that it might get damaged. He packed the painting in a crate and locked it in an airtight vault, away from seeking eyes, where no one could benefit from its loveliness. This is our case, we have received a treasure of great value: Jesus Christ. Should we hold Him in our hearts, never letting Him be seen, or should we expose Him to the view of all who would look? We are to be the city on the hill, the light shining in the darkness, the salt of the earth. No one has the option to call himself a Christian and then keep it selfishly inside. Our faith is intensely personal, but it is never private. We possess a pearl of great price. Be proud of it and let the whole world see it. Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? And they righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? Psalms 88:12 Stay blessed and remain rapturable 1 Like 2 Shares |

The Titanic was presumed to be the largest, safest and strongest luxury ship in the world before it embarked on its disastrous maiden voyage in April 1912. All kinds of people were welcomed on the ship for its first voyage. The rich, the famous, the elite, women, children, families and staff of the ship were all happy to be on board. It was billed to be the ship that could not sink, but it did sink on its first journey from Southampton to New York. This was one of the greatest tragedies of all time. After the ship sank, two lists were presented at the offices of The White Star Company (the company which built the Titanic). The list was simple. It had only two sections: ‘LOST’ and ‘SAVED’. People came to read these lists to find out if their loved ones had survived. Interestingly, before the journey so many things were important. Whether they worked on the ship or were on vacation? Whether they were rich or poor. Whether they were millionaires or peasants. Whether they were stockbrokers or not. Whether they were in first class or economy class. Whether they were men or women. Whether they had a lot of luggage or not. But after the sinking of the Titanic none of these things mattered anymore. Only one thing mattered- whether they were saved or lost. Dear friend that is how Eternity will be. A time will come when none of the things we have on this earth will matter. A time will come when it will not matter whether you are a man or a woman! A time will come when it will not matter whether you are rich or poor! What will matter is whether you are ‘LOST’ or ‘SAVED’ on the day you die and meet your creator! GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS TODAY! AND IF YOU ALREADY HAVE,LIVE FOR HIM!!!! Stay blessed and remain rapturable 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / The Paradox Of Life by PastorOluT(m): 8:11am On Jun 25, 2015 |
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete... Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. An embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. George Carlin Stay blessed and remain rapturable 1 Like 2 Shares |
Religion / What Kind Of Seeds Are You Sowing? by PastorOluT(m): 8:43am On Jun 17, 2015 |
There is always a period of sowing and harvesting, and interesting enough for man he is sowing daily and constantly at that. But one important and unique thing about sowing is that there will always be a period of harvest be it good or bad fruits. Our actions and sometimes in actions are the seeds we sow which will definitely come back to us in multiple folds be it good or bad, unpleasantly or otherwise. This is the reason we must to sow in the spirit and continue that we might reap life and peace, and not in the flesh which the resultant effect is death and might everlastingly. The choice is ours to start sowing eternal fruits that we might not regret eternally. For whatsoever a man sow that he shall reap, if he sows to the spirit he shall of the spirit reap life everlasting, and if he sows to the the flesh he shall of the flesh reap corruption. This life is meaningless without the true purpose which can only be found in Christ Jesus, so don't be deceived with the things that passes away with time losing your soul for eternity. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he that does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 1:17 Stay blessed and remain rapturable 1 Like 1 Share |
