Hello everyone, please if you have arrived in Canada as an international student, how did you show proof of funds to immigration? Is it just tuition receipt? Or bank statement? Or what other way? Please Nlanders, I really need your help, I appreciate you all

I am stuck right there. Applied for form A with GTB but was made to understand that it will take a minimum of 8 weeks to get approved by which time the school fees deadline will be long past. I contacted Humber several days ago asking for extension of school fees deadline. They responded yesterday that my program is full and so they cannot extend deadline.

So right now, I suppose I am left with the black market option. Except otherwise if anyone has a better idea, I will love to hear it.
Ask your school if you can pay in instalments, so that even if you retrieve money through black market it won’t be as much cause you are paying half the fees, as for the form A, it really takes time cause they operate on a first come first serve basis, do it in advance for future payments.

Airline tickets are on the high side, fair prices i saw are on the day of resumption. Whats the implication of resuming late pls
Honestly, it was just by the grace of God that we were able to find price for a decent price. The fares are crazy high unfortunately. I understand it’s hard but try as much as possible not to resume late to be on the safe side

As a way of giving back to this thread, This is just to inform anyone coming to Fredericton, New Brunswick in the fall of 2022. I will be available to provide a free pickup at the airport to your destination, provided you inform me ahead of time.
Hi, If all goes well and I get my PPR before September then I would be coming to Fredricton this fall, thank you very much for your kindness✨

Hi Anon123, I recently sent emails to these emails you sent me above and it said “SUSPICIOUS MESSAGE” should I be concerned?? Or does it say this for everyone who sends an email to them?

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Pat978: 6:59pm On Jul 19, 2022
Hello @Anon123

I completed my upfront medicals today and sent the e-medical sheet to IRCC via webform, they respond in a month? I think, QLife said they upload within 5-10 business days and I was the first to complete my process at the clinic today so hopefully they upload mine quite early. I just pray that IRCC processes my medical examination on time and onto the next step by God's Grace...I think I'll start bombarding them with e-mails from next week. I really appreciate your assistance so far, God bless!

I really appreciate you, I should send emails to all of them I guess? I should also explain that my resumption date is near? Is there any other information that you advice me to say in my emails to them? Do they respond quickly?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Pat978: 10:44pm On Jul 18, 2022
Anon123:
Yes it is possible you would get a decision before September but also possible you might not get. Therefore it is advised you always sending mails to disturb IRCC especially when the application has exceeded the 12weeks processing time and when you resumption date is close.

Applications can take a few weeks, a month or 2 but it's not a regular occurrance so don't put your mind into it.
Wow, thank you very much, I am doing my upfront medicals on July 19th 2022, which is basically tomorrow! Please can you send the IRCC email? God bless you

Good Evening Everyone, I am new on Nairaland and I'd really appreciate if anyone can share their thoughts with me concerning the Canadian study visa.

I gained admission into a University in Canada, NB and applied for a study visa on June 30th, 2022, I applied for the fall intake so my school resumes in early September, Is there any possibility that I can get my visa before then? I heard that someone got theirs in a month, 2 months and so I'm wondering if this is accurate?
