Yes, I saw the ticket is non-refundable ,but I’ve been in a similar situation before, and the airline still gave me a travel credit. After I explained the circumstances. Non-refundable doesn’t always mean no options. Air France might offer a credit, date change, or partial refund if you escalate

Submitted 23rd.Nothing yet. I'm equally worried, but I'm guessing the delay is due to the public holidays.

Change ticket dates or ask Airfrance for a refund. Then book a direct flight.

Got an air france ticket for my parents to travel from Abuja to the UK. My dad is going to be 80 and they have always loved airfrance but the last time they used AF to Uk was in 2022. Had no idea it is this frustrating with this transit visa else would have insisted on BA regardless of their sentiments.

I have not had an issue that frustrated me this much in a long why. The TLS online system does not allow you to pass this page in the screen shot so no date can be booked.have deleted and creates account more than 11 times. My siblings and I have tried this from different locations so it's not just me or my system. Please note this ATV. Ticket gotten is not refundable.

If I even book for actual schengen visa what will I say they want to do as they are not visiting anyone anywhere, more so because the UK visit is for 4 months duration... Even if we say tourists, and make a hotel booking, we can't probably make a booking for 4 months yet we need something that will envelope both legs into the UK and out.
Called TLS 11 times on Friday, same back and forth and issue not resolved.
Any advice please, I cannot afford to waste this ticket. Travel date is 1st week in July and I have been trying this for 3 weeks now.

Do you think if I upgrade to premium lounge or prime time appointment, I would be able to get a nearer date ?

Same boat we are in.
Couldn’t add dependents on primary profile.
Found two appointments, still looking for one more appointment.

Everyone has to have an individual ustraveldoc profile and book for appointments individually.
It didn’t allow Group or Dependent booking.

We called and emailed USinLagos and no dice. We were asked to get appointments for each applicant.

For those that have submitted via Dropbox. How long did it take to get ur passport back?
On the appointment page, it says processing takes 2 months and you can’t request for your passport back during that period.

I got PPR on Oct 4th. My medicals expire Dec 27th. I am worried that before I get the passports back. It will be too close to the medical expiry. We(Family of 4) plan to do short landing. The flight fees giving the close time period will be crazy.

Has anyone experienced this situation?
Was the entry deadline extended past medical expiry if it was very close?

I am trying to see if i can update my medical before passport submission but the whole month of october is booked on Qlife website. No option to book for November.

My NIN is in married name and i will need to renew next year.

I'm not familiar with the new PCC process but you could:

*do what you suggest and change NIN name, although NIN changes seem to have wahala and I'm not sure how easy it will be to change OR
*get a one and same person affidavit https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/450#62358403 OR
*ask Inspector Rose or Moshood (search NL for their numbers) if there is any way to reflect the name on your passport (maiden name) on the PCC....before the new online portal process they would have just used the name on the passport.

As an aside, whenever you renew your new passport it will need to bear your married name, otherwise it may fail NIN validation (if NIN is still in married name).

There's the option of offline PCC. I'd suggest that you explore that rather than face the struggles of name changes. The offline version PCC is still very much in use and acceptable by IRCC, so you have nothing to worry about.

Pls go ahead and use your name like that. Provided you submitted proof of legal name change in your application. My cousin passport carried her maiden name and all other documents carried her marital name, all she did was that she ensured she submitted court Affidavit for legal name change, news paper publication of name change. Today she don get ppr.

Good Evening. So I'm married and I'm still using my maiden name on my passport but my NIN is my martial surname. I'm trying to apply for PCC online and when creating an account ,as i entered my NIN, my martial surname pops up meaning that my PCC would be in that surname which is different from my passport. kindly advice. Do i change my NIN back to my maiden name?

Hello Patricia23, I’m also in Atlanta and trying to apply for the ETC. Did you physically take the documents from their website for submission to the embassy or you mailed it? Would appreciate your guidance.

I took the documents there just before 12 noon and I picked it up the next day.
Remember to notarize the consent letter, or u can do it at the building next to the embassy for $10

I presented my Nigerian passport as ID when I got to CVS. Luckily, the person that attended to me was a Nigerian woman ���. You get the kit and take the samples by yourself.

Yes I applied and it took 24hours. I applied at the Nigerian embassy Atlanta.

I am the principal applicant for Express Entry.
my international passport bears my maiden name, WES and IELTS also bear my maiden name.
But my bank account bears my martial surname.
I am worried about my martial surname on my bank account, because that’s the account I intend to use as POF. Hope it won't raise brows that the names are different? Is this issue worthy of being worried about or there are steps I need to take?
P.S: I have my marriage certificate and change of name details.

@newmumi, I had the same experience. paid $430 for my baby and carried her in my arms. my mum was with me so we took turns.

If your baby has a Nigerian passport, the fee would be cheaper, I dunno how that works but when I tried booking my daughters ticket two years ago, delta told me about $400, then wen I called back saying she had a Nigerian passport, I was quoted $200.
