If I tell you what I think about all the 'lazy' talks, you'd think I have a special preference for Rashford. Which I don't.

But I'll just say this, with the kind of role he plays, the specific expectations from him when we win the ball back explains his actions on the pitch most times out of possession. But he's not scoring goals and his general performance has been below par so anyone that says anything relating to this will be cursed out so I won't start.

All I know is I've seen enough to see he's a top top player. And I believe he'd be a top consistent performer for a really good team.

I saw some Arsenal fans complain about Saka's poor form at a point last season. And I think early this season also. But it went under the radar cuz the team was doing well and goals was coming from everyone. Man bounced back into form before anyone knew it. At United, he'd be sulking after week 3.

Rashford is just one of the many players that make up the team so, he too should find form else he will be dragging the rest of the team back like he has been doing whenever he starts.

The logic that others should step up to make things easy for him doesn't really hold water. Rashford is not a budding talent anymore and his wages is one par with the top performers in the league. Excuses like these should only suffice when we are talking about Garnacho and Mainoo.

Garnacho made many wrong decisions and even missed a couple of goals. But he never allowed that to affect his mood, hardwork, and team play.

If not, he wouldn't have provided that assist for the second goal.

Then you have his senior, Marcus Rashford, who will down tools immediately the right back gives him a hard tackle. Did anyone see how Cucurella wanted to ride Garnacho yesterday but he refused to back down from the fight?

He tried to get very tight to Garnacho like he did to Saka for the most part of their game against Arsenal but Garnacho was up for it, dropping to our half to pick up the ball and run at him everytime. For a fullback, wingers like Garnacho and Martinelli are tough to deal with.

IMHO Garnacho should not be an option that will start every game, especially in this kind of team. He lost several goals today and made many wrong decisions. If we didn't score that second goal, he'd have gotten so many backlash.

But he's out best option at LW at the moment. He makes better decisions than Rashford and even assisted the second goal.

If only we had another strong competitor for Rashford at that position...

Ideally he should not be starting or at best, his game time should be managed but Rashford has been so bad that whatever we get from Garnacho now is much much better than what Rashfordd has served us...

Tag me to talk about how Ten Hag got it right and we won today. Not one argument from weeks ago. My argument then was if Garnacho proved he was ready to start, he would. And he has done that since. At that point we were arguing which was weeks ago, I was still hoping Rashford would get back into form. And Garnacho hadn't done anything the times he started.

No, you claim we didn't have options even when we tried to make you see that if given opportunities Rashford was given, Garnacho will fare better.

The thing is simple, underperforming players should be benched regardless of their last exploits.

He had one of his better games tonight. He is not the problem rather, our dysfunctional midfield setup...The players lack positional discipline or you can say their recovery rate is poor.
