We are so terrible at selling players it's infuriating. City just sold a winger from their academy for 14million to West ham. They sold Trafford to Burnley for 19million. Those are players with zero premier league appearances. Compare that to United selling Elanga for a pitiful 15million and Henderson for 22million. Nothingham forest have even rejected to buy Henderson and are instead looking for another loan.

Considering how bad we have been, I'd take the 15m.

I have always been of the opinion that State government should do more, much more because they have crippled the local governments which is closer to the people.

Why is this thing so difficult?

With the increase in allocation to the states, it means no state should complain again because the increment more than covers the resultant effect of the subsidy removal.

Now, the price of things has doubled in most cases but we have states earning close to x3 their usual monthly allocation so, it means we have to pause to begin to ask our respective State Governors what they are going to be doing with the excess of money given to them. We can not continue asking the FG to do it all if so, they shouldn't increase the state allocation.

I can imagine the Governors smiling to the bank and praying Nigerians don't look their way and continue holding the FG to provide what should normally be provided for by their state governments.

Let the Local and state government put to good use the allocation they are receiving and things will get a lot better.
