Accountability...Tinubu will be held accountable and as you rightly said, excuses won't cut it.

When it comes to protecting the lives and properties of the citizenry they'll say Governors do not control the police and military but when it comes down to political witch-hunt the police become answerable to them.

The policies and procedures of the company or the Police in this instance will state the timeline for processing a resignation and other forms of disengagement. If the policy has a defined timeline and it has expired then she can sue or seek relief using the established policy, however, if there is no timeline to process a resignation which would be unusual then it is deemed she deserted her job based on the policy and procedures that defines "deserting" in the Police Force.
