We'll play a lot of ETH's football next season. But we'll drop deep to defend in a lot of games next season. Don't let this preseason games deceive you.

Even City do drop deep so, I don't get your point...One thing is certain, with EtH, we will be on the front foot for majority of games because it's just his style, no way will he set us up to sit deep for the most part except we are up against City or Liverpool which might not be the case knowing ten Hag too well...

You are ignoring the stats that clearly show Lisandro is quite comfortable dealing with aerial threats, why?

VDB can't deputize on the wing and neither can Bruno. At least not the way Sancho and Rashford can stretch defences. We should not be going into a season with midfielders being the first alternative options to wingers.

The only other option is a diamond midfield but then, we will struggle to stretch the play...

We need bodies forward asap...

It's the reason I'm saying a Dejong, Malacia, Gravenberch, De ligt or any of those players can come in now. But not the 5'8 CB that'll definitely be exposed in those situations. Martinez will look good when we actually know how to play Ten Hag's style for real. But as for next season, he'll be exposed. I really hope the fans will understand this and not switch the Maguire's and Bruno's hate to an easy target.

I'd like to know if games against City and Liverpool make up for for more than 80% of our games because away from those two, there's no team in the league that can have us pegged back for majority of a game...Is it Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal that will have us packing the bus? We can comfortably square up against any of them while I expect us to be on the front foot against the rest of the teams in the division so, I don't exactly agree with your argument...

We need options in attack elsean injury to any of the front players will see ten Hag either tweak the formation or we have to manage whatever Elanga serves us.

I think the best time to bring Martinez in would have been the 2nd year into ETH's reign. When we have mastered the act of controlling the game, pressing as a team, tactical fouls from up front and so many things.

Cuz we'll see a lot of last season's uselessness from this team this coming season. And the trolling and hate that comes with underperforming in this team ehhn. Can literally set the tone of a player's career in the team.

In other words, the best tike to sign any player for ETH would have been in his second season because I don't see how this applies to Lisandro and not others...

A good player will stand out regardless...

ETH hasn't mentioned him for the DM or CDM position. He has been very specific about the LCB position. So we haven't replaced Matic and Pogba yet.

No way will we have Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly and Tuanzebe sitting on the bench so, let's wait and see what's up...We wil still sign more players but even if we don't sign a DM, Lisandro can be used as a DM against top opponents...

Ten Hag knows best...He can play as a CB, LB or DM so, he will be useful especially as a CB and DM and need be...

You can’t compare City’s setup with United’s.

City are successful on the pitch. They have an identity and each player knows their role in the team. They’ve also gotten it right in almost all positions on the pitch. So changing one or two things won’t affect their overall output significantly.

If you remove Haaland and Lisandro from City’s squad, they’re still a formidable team.

The same cannot be said of United. We’re still trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t in terms of team chemistry, personnel, etc.

It is too risky to throw out 2 LBs who are part of the dress room and replace them with new faces.

Telles and Shaw haven't cemented their position here...I am most disappointed in Shaw so, I don't see how worse we can be without them...

Are you saying that we will struggle if we replaced Maguire, Shaw and AWB with Dalot - Varane - Martinez - Malacia? I think not. Even if Dalot is replaced with a new RB I won't complain...I'd rather watch the new guys take a couple of games to get going than watch those players who have supposedly blended with the rest of the team continue to mess things up...

The Northerners are not caught up in the mess we find ourselves down South...Igbos will align with Obi while Yorubas will align behind Tinubu with the South South splitting between the PDP, APC and LP...

I have this gut feeling that Kwankwaso will at some point start working for Tinubu if he isn't already doing so...Choice of Vice and Political party will play a huge role up North as I see Atiku, Tinubu and Kwankwaso (If he doesn't collapse his structures before the general elections) sharing the votes...

It will be difficult for Obi to penetrate core North so, he should focus on the Middle Belt (He stands a chance of getting 30% votes here), SouthEast and South South...He'll get votes in Lagos and Kaduna and couple in other states which is his best bet...

Tinubu will do well in his stronghold and get enough votes in the NE and NW...

The Middle Belt will play a big role of Obi must stand a chance...I am ruling out Atiku and Kwankwaso entirely...

There's a reason I suggested an experienced player with plenty of EPL experience...Shaw leaving on a free or getting an improved contract will be bad business just as keeping a below average Telles will see us paying him for doing nothing...

Lisandro, Eriksen, Garner and coming in to replace Matic, Mata, Lingard etc...

FDJ is still a distant possibility to replace Pogba while Martial is back to replace Cavani...

Don't forget that we might hit gold with a couple of youngsters.

Any move he makes now would very likely not be to a big club, so chances of receiving an offer similar to United’s is substantially reduced.

In this case, United holds the bargaining power, which means there’s no pressure to offer any improved wages. Also consider he’s English.

Everton pay heavy for average players, I'm sure they wouldn't mind paying in excess of £25m for Shaw...

I'd rather recoup some decent fee from his sale because he's been a disappointment. I think there are players already in the squad that can play makeshift at left back if Malacia proves to need some settle in period. talent has proven not to be everything in Luke Shaw's case.

I am very sure Everton, Forest or Newcastle will have no problem splashing £25m on Shaw especially Everton...We can easily get £10m for Telles...With that, we can proceed to sign another experience LB in the region of £25-30m...

The people were fed up and rightfully opted for a change...In 2012/2013 I was a youth corper in Osun and I saw first hand how clueless Aregbe is especially his education policies...I don't even want to talk about how he plunged the state into depts whilst not paying salaries or pension and when he pays, he pays 40% or thereabout...

Come the general elections, they'll queue up behind their own just the same way the East wil queue behind Obi...2023 is going to see each ethnic group queue behind their own...
