Because they put in good performances from time to time. McFred are good 50 percent of the tube but bad the other 50 percent. The problem is you can never predict if it’s good McFred or bad McFred that will appear.

VDB on the other hand is bad almost 100 percent of the time. So any minutes he gets are wasted minutes.

Finally, these academy players are very inexperienced and might not be ready to play the long minutes that McFred play but they are definitely ready to play VDB’s measly minutes.

Good point. I want players who are not delivering to be shipped out. McFred will always have one or two good games that will have us as fans thinking if it's wrong for the club to offload them and before you they'd have stayed at Old Trafford for 10+ years...

Hannibal, Iqbal, Mainoo and Savage need minutes and with the first team. Seeing how EtH hardly rest his first choice midfield, those kids can do with 15-20 mins game time as substitutes rather than those who have failed to take their chances...

What's the obsession with world cup goals? Is the world cup is tougher competition than the UCL?

World cup is hyped because there's usually no competing football competitions going on during the world cup else who will watch England vs Senegal when there's a match between Liverpool and Manchester City at the same time?

I will rate a player over a 38 games season in Spain, Italy or England or the UCL over a player than shines in just 8 games...

I have not seen enough intelligence or discipline in Mbappe's game to assume he will surpass Messi or Ronaldo...He needs to improve his movement and heading ability so he can easily transition into a CF when he loses his pace however, all that won't be necessary if he can win a couple of UCL's and at least one world cup before retirement...

His next career move is very important. The only thing he has going for him is his performance with the national team especially the world cup win else every other thing he does with PSG bar a UCL triumph will count for nothing...

If Mbappe doesn't leave PSG for an elite team in Spain or England, only a UCL win will guarantee him a Ballon d'Or as everything he does in France will go unnoticed...

If he is really about winning titles and being great, and if he really believes in himself no way is he choosing us.
If he is mainly about money and he isn’t sure of his own ability then we stand a chance.

I think we are beginning to witness something different with EtH as top players who were struggling are beginning to thrive again especially when you look at Varane, DDG and Bruno...Even the players who were under performing are doing much better...

As a fan of the club though, I have strong reservation for English players especially from that league and the price will be outrageous...

If I was an advisor to Jude, I'd ask him to sign for Manchester United, no top English team treats English players better than they do at Manchester United...
