Look, all fingers are not equal. Ronaldo has a standard of success and that standard is simply not being met by Man United. Let that player not named Ronaldo set his own standard of success first.

Look at the situation from Ronaldo’s perspective.

• United plans to use a 38yr old throughout next season as their striker.
• United does not have one defensive midfielder in the senior team.
• United has not replaced any player that left.
• United has gone from a Champions League club to Europa League regular patronizers.
• United used to play around 1st or 2nd position regularly, at worse, 3rd. Now, coming 4th is acceptable BeCauSe tHey aRe reBuIlding.
• One of UCL, EPL, and FA Cup used to be considered the minimum standard, now just any cup will do, no matter how small or flat it is.

With the way last season ended, one would think that United will go about their business vigorously this summer, but here we are.

I have not seen any holding midfielder linked to United, abi De Jong will play CM and HM together. ETH is playing with fire if he thinks De Jong and Erikson only will solve our midfield problem, we need a very good HM to play with Erikson or De Jong (if he eventually joins).

All these things are just stories, Maguire should have gladly gave the captaincy to CR7, there is no excuse for them to perform, they should be happy they have CR7 as a motivator in the team, dude tried his best for the team scoring 18 PL goals, scores important goals in UCL, most of his goals came on stoppage time to earn a point or save the club from embarrassing defeats.
Who wouldn't love to have CR7 in his team.

I still maintain my stance, the current Man Utd team/squad don't deserve CR7.

Maguire with a whole Captain band was just running aimlessly within his own half, a complete mediocre with £80Million price Tag.

Sancho, Rashford, Pogba were just being there on big weekly wages, doing nothing special.

Paul Pogba is gone for free, I don't even feel it.

Apart from KdB, Rodri, Ederson and Ruben Diaz and to some degree Cancelo, no other player in the team is a guaranteed starter - not even Mahrez that scored the most goals last season. Just support your 2nd team Chelsea with your full chest and stop pretending to be neutral.

No. I read that he was disgusted with Telles after the last game of last season and didn’t want him at all. Telles is actually not back in training yet.

We have been linked to Malacia for over a month but obviously could not get him at a good price.

Combination of FDJ fee being agreed and Lyon getting him at a fair price gave us the opportunity to hijack the deal.
