You can do whatever you like, but legendary status can be eroded and tainted. Ronaldo has recently irked United fans, and his performance at Madrid has reduced his status at United. Paul Ince for instance did what legends do at United but he is not a legend at United. You cannot compare Ronaldo with the likes of Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Charlton, Keane etc. Ronaldo is a more of a Madrid legend. For me once your name doesn't embody a particular club, your legendary status is watery.

Nothing irks me more than seeing the clubs official Twitter handle celebrate Ronaldo whenever he a break a record. The same Ronaldo that scored against us and celebrated like the club meant nothing to him...

Why are some people acting like Ronaldo legendary status at United is not debatable. He left at 24 and gave his prime to another club. As far as the ''legend'' status goes, it's all a matter of a personal opinion. For some people his contribution is enough to make him a legend, but for others a player leaving before he's even 25 to join his dream club that he holds in higher regard, takes the ''legend'' status away. It's almost pointless arguing about it as there's no ''football legend'' definition in the dictionary.

Ole is a Manchester United legend...Afrodoc2 was and is right when he said the combination of his longevity, knack for scoring goals coming from the bench and of course his UCL winning goal together makes him a legend...

As a Manchester United fan, I'll set Greenwood's price at 100m or even more just because I won't want to see him leave but it doesn't in any way mean he is worth it. That's what Dortmund are doing with Sancho...The big question is whether other clubs will pay above 100m for Greenwood if he was on the market, I think not...

Sancho might not hit the heights he reached last season and that might see his fee drop next summer. We have been treated to this movie before with Fekir at Lyon and Zaha at Palace.

If Ole is a smart coach, since we have been unable to buy a proper RW and our defence have been comical he should switch to a 3-5-2 formation. Rotate Martial, Greenwood, Rashford and Cavani as the two strikers. Shaw can play as the LCB closest to the LWB. Telles is s perfect candidate for LWB. The problem is who will play as RWB. Wan Bissaka is extremely poor with a very low football IQ, poor touch, etc. Crystal Palace scammed us big time.

van dijk doesn't have great pace what makes him stand out is his excellent positioning and reading of the game that's something Maguire lacks. It's okay not to have pace but FFS please have positional awareness.

Don't be deceived by his size, Van Dijk is very fast when he decides to turn on the after burner...I think 2 seasons ago or thereabout, he went on a foot race with Adama Traore and won the ball...
