This reason is why I, like many others give props to Fergie. If Klopp sees out his new deal with Liverpool after winning the UCL last season and probably the league this season, I'll begin to rate him above Pep and not on the same level because it will be difficult to fire the players on to win more after their achievement of winning the UCL and league which looks like a given. Staying at the top for a couple of years is not beans.

I really don't want to call Pep a fraud but from all indications, he does have lapses and may not be all that. In his first season, when his team was on par or levels below others, he didn't win nothing.

In his second season, after upgrading all the problem positions, he ran away with the league as his team was clearly the best of the lot.

In his 3rd season, it went down to the wire because Liverpool had made significant investment and their team was nearly on par or on par as some others will have it with City.

Fast forward to now, Liverpool have the necessary squad depth to compete and they're running away with the league. I take nothing from City who have done well to win the league in the past 2 seasons however, the critics will always ask if it was down to the excellence of City or lack of competition...

Martial is the kind of player that functions well when he drifts in from the left. When I watched him at Monaco he played from the left however, people likened him to Henry and the coaches thought he could be easily converted to a No. 9 Ala Henry but it hasn't worked out and doesn't look it. Today he played better when he moved to the left (At half time, I posted here that he and Rashford should swap positions), I really don't know why in our previous games he seems to have avoided that area of the pitch when it's obvious he is potent cutting in from there rather than the right where he often drifts towards.

Martial might not be the most hard working player but he has his qualities which I don't think we are exploiting.

LVG and Mou actually did something to warrant the time they got.

LVG got us back into the champions league and the following season won the FA cup. If any of our manager should cry for time, it was definitely LVG. His philosophy and tactics was clear.

In Mou first season, we won the Carabao cup and the Europa league, in the second season we finished 2nd against the record breaking City. In Mou first and second season, we play some breathtaking football and also some rubbish football. In Mou third season, we all know how that panned out.

If we sacked Moyes after 8 months in charge, there’s nothing else to point to why we are still stuck with Ole.
