What's all the nonsense about Liverpool playing well?
Game ended 4-3, make una spare us that "played well" crap.

When has anybody praised Barca or Valverde for playing well but losing?
You're so uncouth.

Young making better decision than the clowns we parade as board members.
In other words, Young believes he deserves to be starting ahead of Shaw...Shaw, the useless burger King should be ashamed.

Same Fernandez that can’t pass or the other one?

Same Ziyech that has low release clause last summer that we didn’t go for? It’s now that he has signed a new contract he want to go in for him.

These rumors are just to keep the fans happy till the transfer window close and we start cussing out Ed again.
We are seriously bleeped...

Always knew Ole didn't have the guts to demand for more from the board. When I and others were on about it, the usual response was that not every manager must do like Mou but we have seen Pep demand for players without necessarily causing any issues. If Ole comes out to say he needs more players in, the attention will automatically shift to Ed and with it comes pressure to do the needful or take the stick.

Ole as at now is still saying the right players are not available but the likes of Van De Beek, Ziyech, Fernandez and others are available...Ole is a sissy.

Shut up

Liverpool can’t do poo ..
what’s with this sudden fear and respect everyone is giving Liverpool ?

they were in a very good form leading to the UCL finals in 2017/18 and yet Madrid beat them there

they were still in hot form leading to the UCL SF last season and Barka still handled them 3-0 (then foolishly gave up a good lead in the return leg)

I’m betting on Atleti stringing up a surprise against them too
Liverpool played excellently in that first leg even better than they did in the second leg. After that watching the first leg, I knew Anfield would be a different proposition but I didn't believe they'd have eliminated Barcelona. This year, Liverpool are even better with Chamberlain and Keita back fit.

Barcelona are still too dependent on Messi and Valverde is shit thus if they met, I'd put my money on Liverpool over Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid will have to play excellently and expect that Liverpool play below par to stand a chance.

Pep was wary of the countered thus Rodri had to drop back as the 3rd CB. I am impressed Pep has learnt.

For us, that idiot called Ole will never learn. As soon as Matic replaced Lingard we gained a foothold in the middle of the park. Lingard offers nothing, so why is he starting? Only Ole knows.

Daniel James without space to run is pretty ineffective, our front 3 should be Martial, Rashford and Greenwood...

Lingard and Pereira have to go.

Eeyah. See excuse. Lmao.

At the beginning of the season, when eph12 and a few of us were saying the midfield is shít and they dont cover the defence enough, the only thing we were hearing was "we spent 130m and we cant keep CS".
People even went as far as blaming defenders for lack of chance creation and goals.

Pele. I hope Smalling comes back so he can come and show us how he's better than Maguire.
Once again make una enjoy ur Jones, Lindelof and De Gea.
Abeg I no get time for unnecessary back and forth, the argument has always been that rather than spend so much on the defence, Ole would've been wiser to invest in our midfield and attack...This has always been my line of thought...

If Chamberlian scored now, someone would now come to use his wing stats to say he plays in midfield. Samething that happened when he scored one goal vs Bournemouth, one against Genk away.
Chamberlain can play from the wings but he is best as a central midfielder. That you saw him on the wings today doesn't change the fact that he is mostly deployed as a midfielder.

Your analysis are wrong to my view, although this thread is just a media war between both countries, America under Obama try to maintain peace with all countries of the world ( fake or real ), America under Donald Trump is trying to prove her supremacy as one of the world power. Iran has nothing to lose, America has Iran to destroy. How do you compare a country because they have somewhere to buy arsenals to the one who their budget to expand their military might alone is the total budget of Iran, are you kidding me, all those countries you said will back Iran, for what purpose will they back them huh and if their other Muslim community will support, what do they have to fight USA . Donald is a Zero Joy man who doesn't care to finish all Iran millitary power with their civilians together breaching UN law. Don't dare Trump ohhhh, the man no get Joy

But anyway their fight na just breeze, e no ft rain but if it rain, forget Iran
Why is Assad of Syria still standing today? Russia is the Answer.

Iran has close ties with Moscow and trust the Russians and Chinese to back Iran just so the war extends for a prolonged period wherein the US will have her economy struggling to fund the war. In the economic sense, Russia and most especially China stands the chance of gaining a whole lot should war breakout as it'd present them (Mostly China) a chance to close the economic gap on the US...Russia will benefit from arms sales.

Barca fans have this phoney sense of entitlement.

We are top of the league, we topped our group in the UCL.

And so we are supposed to roll over every opposition we face.
If we don't the team is useless.

Looking at your Man U this season, would you have believed that Liverpool would struggle to get a draw off them?

Liverpool are a team in form.

No one could beat them on paper until they played ordinary Napoli.

You guys know nothing about football.
The bookies do know anything can happen in football however, the team with the highest possibility of winning is given the smaller odd. It's the same case here, Barcelona can beat Liverpool but at the moment, the bookies and fans alike will have Liverpool for the win.

I guess you're a Man U fan.
Lol....

Man U, as useless as they were some 2 months ago had a fixture against Liverpool.

All week leading to the game, we had Man U fan boys yapping and drawing out line ups and formations on how they were going to beat Liverpool.
But that wasn't arrogance, that was confidence.

Match day and with Man U leading,

Man U fans were over the moon on how they had improved and were going to beat the EPL leaders.

Game ended 1-1.

A very useless, out of form, 7th place, Europa league struggling Manchester United had just held the high flying, almighty European champions to a 1-1 draw,

Or better put, it was Liverpool who held Man U to a draw.

And then Barca who lost narrowly by 4-3 to Liverpool cannot dare to dream to beat them on another day?

Bullsh1t....

The same Liverpool which struggled to beat the teams from Mexico and Flamenco at the CWC?

And the same team who have gotten a couple of VAR induced wins this term?

Abeggi.

The only reason a Barca/Liverrpool fixture is even a 50/50 is because of that fuccking Ernesto Velverde.
Get off your perceived high horse, looking at Barcelona this season, do you honestly think you guys can beat Liverpool over two legs?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Rockets Fall Near US Embassy In Baghdad Injuring Five As World War 3 Fears Mount by patrickmuf(m): 6:26am On Jan 05, 2020
The truth of the matter is that America cannot afford another full blown war worst off against a dogged Iran.
However you might want to look at it, America will find it very tough to win the war because her bases around the middle east will be subject to a barrage of long range ballistic missiles. Iran will suffer more but she stands to lose nothing. China and Russia will back the Iranians with weapons just so the war drags on to a point where it takes a toll on the US economy thereby possibly giving birth to a new world power, China...It's not just war, there's an economic undertone to it and the US know better than anyone that they can't afford to prosecute another war, not at this point where their economy is recovering...

both Rashford and Pereira had the chance to send Williams through but no vision.
the presence of mind to make that run in the 80+mins is telling. it wouldn't be awful if Shaw sits out the first 11 though, getting dragged by Pepe is simply preposterous.

scroll down the comments and see a clip of Luke Shaw.
oh god embarassed
I saw that run from Williams and gave him props for it unfortunately Pereira first and Rashford afterwards didn't have the presence of mind to find him.

Shaw is useless though. See that gif and video...He is indeed the burger King...I am also pleased that people are beginning to notice just how average Rashford is away from his pressing and shooting of which he should sometimes pass rather than attempt to score. A Ronaldo wannabe. You will admit that Van dijk is a key player in that defence without him that defence will collapse. Forget about fabinho, they have other player that can cover. Man City did not have a replacement for Laporte.

Really, how did Mourinho dominated for double season, You should also ask yourself, will Arsenal and man Utd had dominated, if they had competed with this current liverpool and Man city squad.
I don't even know where to start from. When Dayo and the likes downplayed the role of Van Dijk in that Liverpool team, I didn't see you utter a word so why now are using bringing up his name in a bid to defend Pep?

Talking about dominance, I'll like you to frankly tell me if the current City or Liverpool or any other team is as good as the Manchester United team that had the likes of Giggs, Scholes, Nistelrooy, Beckham, Ferdinand at one point or the team that had Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, Scholes, Giggs, Nani or the Chelsea team that had Drogba, Lampard, Makelele, Ballack, Carvalho, Terry, Cole, Belleti, Deco, Robben, Duff etc or the Arsenal team that had Veira, Henry, Petit, Bergkamp, Kanu, Parlour, Pires etc? If you like, do a player for player comparison and you'll see that the quality of players Arsenal and Chelsea had meant it was even more difficult for Manchester United back then...

No be today we start to watch football, before Pep and City, we have seen other great teams...
