I am not talking about that particular game bro...I only mentioned it to pass a point across. Pogba is good...can be better but he is nowhere near the players you guys want to compare him to...n.a. my point be that.
I don't think I have read too many comparisons here, what most folks are saying is that at the moment, they wouldn't sawp Pogba for any other midfielder and they're not wrong because Pogba has been on great form for the past couple of weeks. His game is evolving, less of the fancy tricks and flicks.

Ehn! Which kind angle you wan come from n.a.? So because adabawole have scored couple of goals.....Una wan start to compare am to people wey pass am abi?

Verratti who schooled him just few days ago must have had ronaldinho, pirlo, scholes, ballack, makalele, xavi, and co playing beside him...
The injury to Martial and Lingard exposed OGS, he didn't plan for such scenario as his substitution showed. In the first half, the game was balanced and if not for some poor decision making and indecision, we would have ended the half a goal or two to the good.

Pogba himself seems lethargic
We can forgive him because his primary role is to contribute oo the attack from midfield but your CDM and CM should be more mobile and the CM should be better on the ball with a very good passing range.

I see what you’re saying. I’m just a bit skeptical about him. He’s been playing for years but just recently became a consideration by fans.

Could be that he’s just in form. Jamie Vardy was also in form a couple of years ago.
I have always been a fan of Son right from his Leverkusen days, he has always been a good player but over the past two seasons, he has improved his decision making and finishing, he can only get better.
Vardy is still a very good finisher, he could do with a better team. I imagine him in Liverpool but his and Salah's tendency to drift inside makes Firmino his perfect foil.

Modric and Kroos play in considerably better teams thus it is easier for them to exert themselves in a game compared to Pogba who plays alongside a dependable but technically limited Herrera and lethargic Matic.

What about Alexis Sanchez?
Son is 26, can play across the front line, wouldn't disrupt the dressing room as his wages are modest. At some point in his Tottenham career, Poch in his usual way favoured Lamela but Son didn't complain, he worked hard and earned his place in the starting 11 unlike Sanchez who came in on high wages and demanded to be played from the LWF position. Like it or not, Sanchez wasn't welcomed in the dressing room because Pogba went from being the main man to just another player and Martial was shunted to the right.

Because Son is playing fantastic football at the moment, we should get him. What if he doesn't fit in?

Son has proven himself in the EPL and has a variety to his game.

Let us get Son in the summer, he can play either wing or through the middle as the CF.
We need players who can function in different positions without a drop in quality and he'll be massive for our Asian martet.

chess is the most beautiful game ever, the lessons from chess are numerous, from someone who plays over 10 games per day and has played in tournaments, I will list my observations

1) A wrong move from you or your opponent might just be the end of the game which translates that proper thinking and carefully orchestrated moves are necessary in life.

2)the way you start(opening) matters a lot, a bad opening might end in disaster which translates that the necessary skills in life as the op said are necessary.

3) looking for a quick or fools mate might spell doom such as bringing out your queen early if you are playing an advanced opponent and it means there is no shortcut to success, following the quick and fastlsne might lead to destruction.

4)The passpawn: never underrate any man whether he is a beggar or a labourer as long as their is life then hope abounds.

5)The center pawns, they are mostly captured in the battle for the center, I believe in life dont be at the forefront of any agitation, if you must, try to have a strong backbone and also note your backbone (Godfather ) can exchange you at any time to suit his interest.

6) Network and connections, a balanced game with all the pieces connected and no weak pawn likely wins the game, it shows that in life you need connections and in most cases you can't do it all alone.

7) The weak pawn: it shows that a chain is as strong as it weakest link.the weaker pawns are mostly attacked and it means know your weaknesses in life as the may spell your downfall.

cool Master an opening, be it the sicilian,Latvian, kings, queen,Budapest etc know your opening and the game becomes easier,it shows that you should have a skill, trade or an education for basic survival.

9) The piece in my own interpretation shows
a)the pawns are people we might know in life who may be of little significance in our lives, they may also be people who their actions might also have a lasting effect in our live,
b)the bishops are people or foes who attack us,or challenges we face squarely, they are easily visible, you see it coming and you are ready to attack or evade such problems.
c)the knights are people, foes or challenges that are two faced, you see them but they seem harmless since they are not attacking you and you are oblivious of the fact that they have sinister and terrifying motives but by the time they coming forking you in 8 directions you will know they are worse than Nigerians politicians,
D) the castle represents our trusted friend, families and relatives that we can always seek refuge with when the storms of life comes knocking
e)The queen represents the Balogun in ancient yoruba kingdom, the right hand man to the king that will go all length to defend the kingdom, he spearheads the attack and lead the troops to battle.
f)the king represents the immortality of man,the Soul.

10) it's not over until it's over,if you have not been checkmated then you still stand a chance. which means once their is life their is hope

If you ever have the opportunity to take out your opponents queen, don't waste that opportunity even if it will cost you your queen in return. And learn to exploit the hidden powers of your knights. They are dangerous if you know them. Always create an escape route for your king.
A pass pawn is priceless. You are right about the Knight, I use my knights to deadly effect.

grin. No 5 is the real message. Keep fighting. Your opponents might make mistake just at the end, never give up At 4, every piece is an asset not just the king. The pawn can become a queen in minute. Don’t take any one for granted. Never think your opponent don’t know what they are doing. Think like they think. Imagine yourself in their shoes, what would you do. Always imagine other people in your shoes and you in their shoes. It helps in your relationship. Be sure about your decisions before you make them and make sure you don’t reverse. It is not advisable to undo a move. Keep moving.
My rating currently is 1832 on chess.com.

I feel we have to change our training regime, the injuries to Martial and Lingard was down to the fact that we pressed from the front, those guys are used to playing conservative football and are bound to go down when asked to press endlessly.
With time, we will improve our fitness, we just need to continue playing same way.
Hopefully we recruit the right players in the summer.

Where you dey watch this match, chairman ?
He is right, PSG were scared to commit bodies forward due to the pace of Martial and Lingard that it lessen the work of our defenders.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m):
Marquinos man marked Pogba all game and from the set up of PSG, they targeted our left flank and nullified it.
We need a right winger, RB, and RCM cos Herrera's short passes won't hurt teams who are very technical, it's because PSG didn't consider him a threat that they were able to nullify Pogba by man marking him.
Young was atrocious, his tendency to always tuck inside like a CB and his lack of concentration/poor positional play cost us. I recommend that he should be looked inside Carrington for the next 2 weeks practicing simple crosses.
The injuries to Martial and Lingard cost us and OGS got it wrong bringing in Mata rather than Lukaku.
Sanchez is trash, he should have the iconic No. 7 shirt taken off him.

I like how you people now have hope, its a good thing. Without Neymar, Cavani, Verrati and Meunier una suppose win this match. PSG lost in the UCL last season without Neymar same can happen again. Hopefully.
Veratti will play, the big miss for them will be Meuneir and Neymar as Cavani is very wasteful. Some folds might even argue that they rather have Neymar play and Mbappe out injured and I share same line ohf thought, Neymar can be unserious with his unnecessary showboating but Mbappe is a killer, he is their main threat even with Neymar on the field of play.

It is going to be an interesting game. Pogba, Martial, and Rashford must not let Mbappe outshine them. I fear that guy.
Actually I think it's Martial that will be out to make a statement today, Mbappe took all his shine and I trust Martial to come out firing.
I'll start Bailly because he has the pace to at his keep up with Mbappe when he sets sail.
Rashford should target Tiago Silva, h isn't the quickest CB nowadays and their fullbacks are not exactly excellent.
Let's hope Young is up for it and Herrera covers him cos I suspect PSG will attack his flank.
At some point, I expect Sanchez to come on and do damage. A repeat of his performance against City last season will be great.
