Every word is spot on. Take a cue from the on going rallies, Buhari and Atiku are only able to muster such crowds cos in most cases than not, they dole out cash but the other smart guys like Moghalu, Sowore, Durotoye etc are not financially buoyant or rather it is against their beliefs to bribe their way to power thus are not given any chance by Nigerians. Here, we sell out future for a pot of porridge. Imagine folks rooting for Buhari after has shown that he isn't capable to lead the country or others who are hell bent on foisting Atiku on us even when Atiku for 8 years was VP and didn't do such much compared to the resources available to him, same Atiku is surrounded by Saraki, Dino, Ben Bruce, Tambuwal etc, the very men who have been at the centre of misgovernance as we have it here. For me, Sowore should get the nod or Moghalu but no, Nigerians are still in love with her oppressors. |

Why not use any other team not coached by him as an example? We saw a defensively solid athletico win the Spanish league. Do you belive an Athletico Madrid koke and Co would have won the league with mustafi, Sokratis, Bellerin and monreal/Kolasinaic playing as back 4 In that set up, they'll look much better than you can ever imagine. Felipe Luiz looked out of this world at Atletico, he joined Chelsea and looked out of place...Smalling will look world class in that setup... |

BlueRayDick: Are you kidding me? Have u not seen man city using walker and Mendy(for the games he's played) provide width for the team? Have you not seen Liverpool's fullback make the ball enjoyable for the front men?
Aside that, at a particular point played 3 centre backs and two fullbacks who doubled as wing back, yet we still conceded those matches and even didn't win the first half after conceding early, do you still think the 3 man CB was unable to ward off attack because others won't join defence?
The truth is : if you are to judge on facts on ground, our attackers have a job to do which is to score as many goals as possible and they've racked in 50 goals after 24 games which places them on a joint No.3 spot of highest scoring side in the league with Tottenham, while our defence has job of warding off attacks and preventing goals; a job they've not excelled at going having conceded 33 goals which is even higher than Newcastle's that is number 14 on the log.
Like seriously? I won't argue further, just watch Man City and the contribution of their attack and midfield in defending and compare it to Arsenal. Football has gone past forwards scoring and that's why at some point, Pep demanded more from Kun Aguero. Let's just end it here... |

BlueRayDick: So do we now say messi goes to the back, collects the ball from the defenders and dazzles his way from the back into the opponent's goal of when you Claim Argentina's midfield does practically nothing?
Screenshot below is the player ratings Nigeria vs Argentina at the world cup from skysports. Messi was rated 8 for a suberb performance, same as Ever Banega. In fact the two were the only players rated that high on the pitch and you think their midfield does little or nothing?
Wait, truthfully if you are appointed Arsenal today and you need to get good reslts ASAP, would you rather overhaul the back line on replace the Frontline with dribbling wingers partnering the existing attackers. Assuming these are the two options opened to you? First of all, understand that Banega cannot do it all alone. Talking about Arsenal, someone here pointed out that one of the problem with your team is over reliance on the fullbacks to provide width leaving the CBs exposed during counters so before having a go at the defense, imagine what the situation will be if you guys had proper wingers doing their jobs and your fullbacks defending and only attacking when necessary. |

BlueRayDick: Someone already pointed it out to you that despite Argentina having messi, dybala, higuain, icardi and the rest upfront ready to punish you, people still attack Argentina.
As for man utd attackers being the first set of players in the line of defence, it hasn't helped man utd keep opposing attackers at bay going the number of goals conceded already. Without prejudice you know a defence that has an aging Ashley young, and Valencia, a lindelof still adjusting to the game injury prone Jones and an Eric Bailey not at his best has been the reason you conceded some goals, and not because Rashford, Herrera, Martial, Sanchez, etc did not do enough I can't go further, bar Burnley game where Jones decided to do vintage Jones, you could that we have given up much less chances to our opponents. When talking about attack, you will agree that PSG have a more fearsome attack than Liverpool but you can't compare the work the both attackers put in. Messi doesn't mark, others in their attack do little to help out defensively and their midfield is not so good bar Banega so you might need to look beyond names, football is a team game. |

BlueRayDick: Bros, you are right they have pacy and skillful players upfront, but we all know the difference between the Liverpool of last year and this year is the strengthening of their back-line including the goalkeeping position.
Arsenal's defence is wack and this is why teams attack us, not because they they are not wary of our attackers. No sensible coach will see an old and slow Lichsteiner playing at right back and a defensively weak Xhaka playing at left back and tell his team to focus on our attack. Hell no! They will definitely work on the weak defence and get the juice out of them. I have no doubt that Arsenal's defense is weak but you can't talk about the defense without mentioning the attack and midfield, In my team, Manchester United, we start defending from the front (Rashford and Lingard) in midfield, we have Matic and Herrera battling for every ball...This line of defense helps protect our defense. If you look at Arsenal, you'd see the lingering deficiency right from the attack, where only Lacazette bothers to defend, in midfield, only Torreira fights for every ball, Guendouzi is trying but he is still young...Check out that Pogba's burst for our 3rd goal in the FA cup and you'll realize how a passive midfield exposes a team. Look at Pool, their defense have much less to deal with in a game compared to the other teams though they have some very good defenders but their work is made easier by the pressing of the forwards and midfield. |

MrDojo: IMH, they don't attack Liverpool because they know there are playing against a quality team that will punish anybody. Only the big boys readily attack each other.
Imagine playing against Arsenal, who have one of the worst defensive records in the league, which team would not Fancy their chances?
It's not about having a superb attack. Using Argentina for example, as wonderful as their attack is, teams devour them because of their aging or useless defense.
No team, I repeat, no team will ever fear a team with a weak defense. It does not just happen.
P.s. this is just my opinion. A weak defense can be shielded by a world class attack and a hard working midfield, that's what Liverpool have. Argentina on the other hand have a world class attack, an average midfield and a poor defense so they don't offer their defense enough protection. |

nihilistjnr: looool
I swear this actually happened to me in secondary school. I went for one of those school house parties, and after enough tapping current without further action, I needed to discharge.
The crib was in that alapere side, and I was going to ojota. The host of the party gave the location of a joint along my route so I found my way.
It was one of those bungalow joints, where the olosho enterprise took over an entire face-me-i-face-you crib.
The chief olosho was one mighty alhaja sat outside. the main door. I she saw one very fresh looking woman at the time. I got the usual, "small boy come I go do you well" yarns.
When I entered inside and it was time to actually do me well, this woman started preaching to me sha. Asking how old i was, anf what I was doing in Olosho zanga.
This is after collecting my 3h o. I was even begging her sef, like aunty abeg make I fück my Fück na. She said no that I should press breast and be going
I tried to act tough, and she threatened to beat the hell out of me with her slippers and wanted ro even lock the door to deal with my enemy.
I ran out and went to report to the chief olosho. That one too was now telling me the same thing...that it's not good, at my age I shouldn't be doing this...
I asked for my money back, alhaja called my client. That one said I don already touch bobby so the money don go. I was now begging to just nack sha. The bïtch said she no fit nack small boy prïck.
Eventually, a solution was found. Alhaja would nack me. This woman must have been late 50s. I was in SS1 so I think I was 13 or 14?
looking back at it now, I should have been disgusted, but back then I was a randy mofo, and would have fücked a hole in someone's coat, a hole in the ground, a slightly warm exhaust pipe lubricated with engine oil, anything.
Anyway we entered the dark room, I tried to press breast. She threatened to slap me. I tried to press yansh - tim ba fun e nigbaju.
na wa o.
last last she went on all 4s, raised her wrapper slightly and guided my dick into a warm receptacle. I was done in 5 minutes. I didn't know where my thing went, it could have been a freshly prepared wrap of eba with a hole in the middle for all I know.
All I cared about was that precious nut. I even bragged about in school the next week. |

BlueRayDick: This is so so untrue. Arsenal have decent attackers. Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil, will make the first team of some top teams(Maybe not all, but at least some ).They are delivering if you ask me.
Defence has proven to be Arsenal's problem. Just take a look at Liverpool sitting No.1 on the log with 61 points compared to Arsenal's 47 points. That's a whole 14 points gap. Would you believe Liverpool have only scored just 5 goals more than Arsenal?
We've scored 50 goals and conceded 33, while Liverpool has scored 55 and conceded mere 14 goals. And you say defense is not our problem.
As for the wish for more wingers, well that boarders on the style of play we choose to play. Arsenal in the recent past has been playing tru the middle which may have been the reason you don't see us buying wingers compared to teams like Liverpool and Man Utd. If Emery wants to play tru the wings he may invest more in that department , but if not he should concentrate on strengthening the defense and getting a replacement for Ramsey. You don't see teams attacking Liverpool as much as they'd attack Arsenal not when there know how much the pace of Salah, Mane and Firmino can hurt them. That's the point the dude is trying to make. And if you look at that Liverpool team, they put you under pressure from the front and their midfield is compact, same can't be said of Arsenal, no? |

Seriously, the positioning of Jones is suspect. At some point yesterday he was at RB/RCB even when Lindelof wasn't out of position. His lapses in concentration has be masked by our performance in the past few games. He needs to take his place on the bench for Bailly who looked assured against Arsenal the other day. |

Before that guy could even attempt to dribble him he had dribbled himself. Spinning like a turn table for no reason. If he had faced up against the guy he would have been n a better position to make the tackle instead of relying on Lindelof to come back and attempt a last ditch tackle. The next set of matches are against top teams both in UCL and the EPL, it was very logical of him to rotate the team. The team made the match unnecessarily hard for themselves. Rashford has been poor, very poor. Pereira seems to be lost, he needs to do more going forward as Burnley are hardly attacking. Sanchez should replace Mata not cos he has played badly but I'd rather have Lukaku drifting to the right and Rashford playing through the middle. If the game stays the same 10 mins into the 2nd half, Lingard should replace Pereira. |

hoopLA: Someone here, I think it was doc, mentioned the glaring loophole in the 4-3-3 formation deployed vs Arsenal. It is just that Arsenal is dumb by default. Otherwise they should have sweated us on Friday. A real serious side would take us out in the first half.
In my opinion I think we got lucky vs Spurs too.
Unfortunately our fixture list is what it is. Ole could not have had a kinder start to his tenure in light of the fixtures, so times like these would inevitably come. Let's hope for the best and believe that Ole's work pays off in times like these. Against Spurs, the guys had doubts no thanks to the mentality Mou had infused into their heads when coming up against good or great teams. Against Arsenal, our second big test, I paid close attention to how we reacted after Arsenal pulled one back and especially during additional time and in both cases, we weren't panicky on the ball, we controlled the game. Regarding our midfield and defense, I agree with Doc, we need not bodies but players who are equally as good as the options we've got or preferably, even better and that's why I think the board will be making a mistake not Strengthening the defense and to a lesser extent the midfield (They might be looking at Fred and expecting him to come good). |

hoopLA: Let's be optimistic.
As daunting as the fixtures look it is meant to test us in view of where we really are as a squad relative to how we began the season. The season was wrecked by Jose (who I supported initially and I owe the house an apology for that). At this point despite the excellent start under Ole I think we should see his tenure as a rescue job in terms of salvaging what we can from what is left. In my view we ought to temper our expectations in light of the fact that Ole is just the interim boss and that we are about to take a loss in terms of our projections for the season.
Of course Ole would like to use this as an audition to get the job full-term and as such will go out to do his case good. But the reality is that there are deficiencies both in terms of personnel and from the tactical side that would eventually be exposed.
Just saying. Please I'm no kill joy I really do not think folks are concerned because we harbour any fears but rather because of the fixture list. If we had each game against a rival duly spread in between games against smaller teams, most folks wouldn't voice out. Regarding deficiencies in the team, no questions about that but on the tactical side, I can't say just yet. |

Ibime, I think the issue with Onnoghen is just a scenario where everyone involved is wrong.
Buhari didn't make due recourse to the constitution before suspending him as the Code of Conduct Tribunal has not right to discipline or recommend his suspension to the president.
Constitutionally, only the NJC or 2/3rd majority of the senate can make recommendation for his removal to the President but you know the current Senate will do anything to scuttle the plans of the Executive arm of government.
The NJC on the other hand is headed by the CJN and constitutionally, the CJN is required to step aside pending when investigation is completed but the CJN as head of the NJC has postponed the meeting of the NJC indefinitely in a bid to protect himself.
Personally, I think the CJN should call a meeting of the NJC wherein, he should step aside for his second pending when investigation is completed. You can't possibly frustrate the law when you are the number custodian of the law.
I am a Cross Riverian between but Onnoghen has to clear his name. |
