I don't understand why some people think Bruno is irreplaceable. In my opinion, players like Rodrygo, Eze, Cherki, and Lookman are better suited to right attacking midfielder (RAMF) than Bruno.

As a midfielder, we need players who can effectively keep the ball, be positionally aware, and maintain a high work rate. While Bruno does have a good work rate, he struggles to keep possession under pressure and cannot always be relied upon to maintain his position. His tendency to drift across the field may lead to a higher number of goals and assists, but it ultimately causes the team to suffer.

If we had a team full of world-class players, I would oppose selling him, but right now, we need players who better fit our needs.

Whether you are buying for the manager or the club, it doesn't matter right now. The fee is important, for instance, Gyokeres will cost almost the same as Cunha for the same amount but we are close to signing Cunha...Gyokeres signing guarantees goals and assist, so getting a player like that is you replacing Bruno's contribution from midfield while having the opportunity to bring in an actual midfielder that does the job expected of a midfielder...

Away from stats, I don't think Bruno is suited to occupy one of the positions of a midfield two neither is he excellent as an inverted winger cum LAMF or RAMF...If the offer is right, he should be sold.

Bruno does not even have a place in the current set-up; the left and right attacking midfielders behind the striker have to be players who are good on the ball and can take on the opponent without losing the ball at the slightest bit, only to begin complaining afterwards...

We should be looking for proper midfielders as Bruno has shown he can't play in a midfield two neither can he function as one of the inverted forwards cum AMFs...

Some of our fans are our problem and its affecting us a club. For me I will rather we cash out on Bruno and used the funds to get two or more players.

PSG sold mbappe and became a better team

Liverpool sold coutinho and became a better team

You must think the Saudi guys don't have internet or access to cable TV...Licha won't be sold, his injury record means very few clubs will want to take the risk signing him...

Casemiro and Bruno (especially Bruno) can fetch us good money, so we must decide whether to deal or not (I personally think it's the right time to cash in on the duo)...Shaw and Maguire are your typical English footballers, they'll likely end up at West Ham/Palace/Everton...

I agree Garnacho can fetch us good money but not Hojlund, we will record serious losses if we sell him now, so the best option is to loan him out to a club where the pressure is not too much and hope he develops there, then we can bring him back or deal on him.

There's no big team Mbeumo and Wissa did not trouble this past season. In fact, after Tony left, Mbeumo stepped up big time, he is very good with the ball at his feet, whether holding the ball and bringing others into play or creating chances or taking them...I wouldn't mind if he is signed, he is a very good player.

I think the point here is that he seems to be "out of reach" and the earlier we started exploring other "realistic" options of acceptable quality , the better.

Some insinuations on here that these shambolic performances and results would definitely repeat next season if Osihmen doesn't sign for the club, is kinda worrisome and would always set the manager up for drags

Established is another word for Mercenaries. Two seasons ago, you guys said we needed to rebuild with a younger squad and stop signing viruses/mercs like Pogba, Lukaku Mhiki, etc. Now that the experiment has failed mostly on the back of getting an inexperienced manager, we should go back to Mercs so our so called saviour can succeed.

You are in a world of your own most definitely...How is asking for patience so that the manager working with the football management team gets the players with the right profile to execute his ideas, now a bad thing?

Every other match day, you have at least 3-4 Manchester United players trending, not for any good reason, on X; it's worst off here, but when we call for players who combine hard work with the technique to be signed, you somehow squeeze in the word mercenary...

Now we should go sign go back to signing Osimhen (a mercenary o) and other established players to avoid relegation next season. It was only after Bin Laden had his time here to bring in his own players and ship the deadwood (he didn't actually) that some of us started to question if we were really improving especially as we covered less distance than our opponents and were dominated in most games...Do not paint a different narrative.

Now, Amorim came in when we were struggling, and since then, things have failed to pick up. However, he has yet to bring in players that suit his pattern play. Thus, we can't say he has been given the tools and has failed. When he first joined Sporting, he immediately started playing the 3-4-3 pattern, they didn't win the league but guess what, at the end of the season, he shipped out 17 players, and brought in players he thought were best fit for his style of play from the academy and via purchases at a fair value...Sporting didn't regret the decision to let him have his way...

This summer, I expect that Amorim will oversee the sale of a good number of the current players (Lindelöf is already off) and he will bring in his own players...Come the start of the new season, after 5 games, I'd understand if anyone starts complaining if things don't improve...Just wait a little; you will have your time and justifiably so, if things don't improve come the new season.

I still believe under the right circumstances, Amorim will succeed at the club and these circumstances revolve around our recruitment process in the summer and his own willingness to incorporate new strategies to vary our gameplay play (This is a serious issue at the moment because he has stubbornly refused to tweak his formation during games unless in desperate times)...

If Amorim is sacked, I won't blame the board because as bad as our players are, they're serviceable and under the right system and coaching, we shouldn't be anywhere close to the bottom of the table. Truth be told, Amorim has not done himself any favours with our atrocious form in the league...

Whether Amorim stays or leaves, the open heart surgery that Rangnick suggested must be conducted, Shaw for one has to leave, Lindelöf, Maguire (He has improved but with him, you feel he is one mistake away from costing the team), Hojlund has to be loaned to a club where the pressure is less for him to continue his development (I am saying he should be loaned because we will struggle to get a good deal from his sale at this point), Casemiro should leave too, at his age, you never know when the steep decline will set in, Eriksen should leave...

Mainoo, Zirkzee, Garnacho, Ugarte, Dorgu, and Dalot should be options from the bench...

Finally, I can see the back of this torrid season...

Whatever the club does, we should go after players who are confident in tight spaces and do not treat a football like a bomb. We need to sign at least 3 technicians who can also put in the work.

Our play is just too lethargic, it's a shame that several managers after, our players still don't approach a game with the intensity modern football demands. Check all the successful teams of recent years; they play with a good level of intensity, and they cover a lot of ground.
