Don’t be deluded. My uncle was a Catholic priest. He went abroad to study, and after completing his PhD he got a lecturing job in Canada, stopped working as priest. He is a very successful man today, a full professor in a top Canadian university. Many of his mates can’t withstand him in any form or shape.

1. PDP Presidential aspirant Peter Obi attended the public announcement and supported Atiku to declare his Presidential ambition.

2. Just few days to PDP primary, aspirant Peter Obi stepped out of PDP Presidential primary and resigned membership.

3. Aspirant Atiku won PDP Presidential primary and was declared party flag bearer.

4. Peter Obi sent a congratulatory letter to Atiku.

5. Aspirant Obi crossed to Labor party. At its presidential primary another aspirant, Pat Utomi stepped down for Obi to win and become Labor party flag bearer.

Atiku has learnt from 2019 not to underestimate APC and its use of incumbent power to sweep opponents away. In particular, APC used cross-party alliance with SDP's Iyiola Omisore to edge Senator Adeleke out of gubernatorial victory in Osun.

SDP, Labor and APGA are strong in South.

Using strengths in Labor (his new party after PDP) and APGA (his old party before PDP), Obi can steer votes to Atiku and run him across the margins of victory should 2019 repeat itself.

Atiku is using one stone to kill two birds -
1. Dilute grass root politics in South so SDP does not become a formidable contender. Infact, SDP introduced Atiku to politics back in 1998.

He is using Obi to throw this kill. Hence Obi's actions lately.

2. Influence APC primary to nominate an underdog candidate.

APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu is from NE, same region with Atiku, and an ex-Chairman of PDP under Goodluck Jonathan, who is being wooed to cross from PDP into APC and enter primary race.

Now, Atiku must choose a Christian South for VP. He could end up calling Peter Obi to deputize for him, but he will not do so ahead of APC primary.

Net-Net, PDP is going for NE muslim/SE christian.

All I know about him is that he was one of the "Nigerian Tourists".

He worked in the Railway Corporation and played for the Railway team (they were one of the best teams back then) and his performance with the Railway team led to his invitation to the National Team.
@naptu2 was Tina onwudiwe married? I've read she had two daughters and a son..What more can you tell us about her personal life.
He was a defender in the Nigerian National Team that toured the UK in 1949. They famously played with barefeet. I remember that he appeared on quite a few sports shows in the 1990s in which he talked about their tour of the UK.

Hello my nairaland family. I'll make this post short & precise... I buried my dad around april this year. Am the only available child, as my elder brother relocated abroad in january & has refused to make contact. I took a loan to sponsor my bro's trip abroad, & also took another loan from my bank to partly sponsor the burial as all the family burden rested on my shoulders.. Last month, my dad appeared in a dream telling me to hurry up in paying a vow he made in church of abt 50k before he died. I was warming up to pay the vow this month's ending as am stil servicing the loans i got from my bank. He appeared last week to remind me but yesterday night's own came with severe flocking. Am stil feeling the pains from the cain he used at my back & joints.. How do i contain him before month end when i'll be bouyant to pay the vow. Am afraid he may return with more beatings,. & am jst 30yrs old, & wouldnt want to have any part of my body deformed as a result. Your suggestions wil be greatly appreciated!

Bayern values Goretzka and Kimmich and they think both are crucial for our future but with Goretzka, while his performance are elite, his injury records are concerning. He wants Lewandowski money but he is not a tank like Lewandowski a player at 32 who hardly gets injured

I hope we can extend both Kimmich and Goretzka

Bayern already is paying for the errors in Sane contract situation, we signed Sane for top salary, his performances have not matched his salary thus others like Gnabry Coman Goretzka Kimmich are using Sane's salary as a measure (e.g I am higher than Sane in importance to the team so if Sane is earning 15M, then I deserve 20M). They cannot use Lewandowski to negotiate but they can use Sane to negotiate
