my first hand experience with the A5 pro.\
1. the Aesthetics is wow. in fact the breathing crystal is the new black
umidigi di a very nice job on this one.
2. speed: the phone is very swift and fast.... i have multi task it severally and my apps are not closing .
3.camera: please update the phone before using the camera. after updating it i began to see why they name it the tripple value king the clarity is so nice and the Auto focus issue on the A3 is not here. the camera quickly focus on an object or a person.
4. the battery: this one made me smile i charged it from 40% to 91% yesterday around 8:40 pm. i started using it heavily since around 12am this morning. i did night sub, i updated all my apps and set up the phone. i still had up to 35% remaining
5. the screen is truly a full HD. try and watch a 4k video on youtube and yu will get the jerk
since morning my colleagues in school have been snapping pictures with the new king s they were in AWE when they saw the phone.. them: khalid how much did you buy this phone. Me: 55k o the only thing i am missing about my A3 pro is the notification light.
my only dislike is the yellow hue that usually saturates the picture or whenever you open the camera... you can mannualy adjust this by changing your white balance to fluorescent.

I don't know who needs to hear this... The A5pro is mad... The bokeh mode aka portrait is very nice.
For now I'm satisfied with the camera and the crystal clear display.. Just try and watch a 4k video with it. And see clarity..the speaker too is OK..

I can attest to the bokeh mode... I think it's super. Just check out this pic I got from a review.

P.S: The only drawback in the camera is that it adds a little yellow hue to every image, but with a few tweaks, it's not sooooo far off when compared with iPhone 7 (again from a comparison of the two devices... you can check on YouTube)... It also took some manageable photos at night when the ISO was set to maximum.

apart from that... It's super awesome.

I don hear you oga boss... though it's hard to believe that they've shipped that much in 2 weeks. Even if they've shipped that much between June 24th and now, it means they'll still need 2 more weeks to ship everything.

To be honest, I myself don't think they can keep that promise but on another level I pity them.

I saw a video on YouTube explaining how pre-sale works in China. Most of their staff work around the clock for peanuts. The main goal of companies like Umidigi, Xiaomi, Oukitel and others at this point is not to make profits but to create awareness about their brands so that they can sell more items in the future.

So, I'm not happy about the crazy waiting time... but if Umidigi is not doing this for profit, it's like I'm doing them a favor right now.

It's just that my anger is getting bigger than my pity for them.

Based on earlier Jumia pricing, it was listed at 46K..... Is 10K worth the wait.........

It's not the price I'm concerned about at this point... It is the time I have spent waiting and the unknown outcome of their July 15th promise.

It won't make any sense for me to cancel my order (I paid 33k) today only for them to ship all the orders in 5 days time like they promised.

Only I know the amount of data I have used on Google, aliexpress, twitter, YouTube, instagram, and here on Nairaland judt to get a closer look at the phone.

In short, I have invested too much time waiting not to wait till the end.

For a presale order, I think the best way to get an honest review will be when u get ur own device in ur hands. YouTube gives room for everyone to express themselves however they deem fit. They will be good as well as bad, so let's not get it twisted.
For me however, until I handl my device I remain of the opinion that this phone is the best budget phone for it's pric and spec.

Yeah, you mean the dude with creepy eyebrows? That was not a review, there was nothing said in that video to either think it's positive or negative. The dude was just showing off the device.

The only other reviews about the phone include Umidigi's review, the one I posted here and a more recent hands on video in Russian.

You've said some things I don't agree with (maybe you didn't really read what I wrote)... The same software runs on all A5 pros, how then Is it baby sense to assume that other Umidigi a5 pro phones will have software issues based on the only honest review of the phone we have so far?

If you go to their aliexpress official store, you'll see that most people have become restless and unhappy about the delay.
