Kittex7: At Alaba market when I started a mini business that time. Those Alaba boys realised that I was new in that environment from the way I speak normal English instead pidgin. I keep seeing them everywhere I go. Their sole aim was to rob me but at the end I went home without buying anything.. The following day I went there again still didn't buy anything until I realized that they are no longer following me. Then third day I bought my stuff and left 4 my state... Alaba is a very bad place to start buying stuff
You mean they wanted to rob you of the stuffs you buy?

TODAY MARKS 23YEARS FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI JOINED THE REALMS OF OUR ANCESTORS (BORN OCTOBER 15 1938_DIED AUGUST 2, 1997)
Fela Kuti left a legacy that has lived on and survived for decades with his songs maintaining their relevance today, and his children pushing his signature activism through music as perfected by their father.
He has lived up to his adopted middle name "ANIKULAPO" which means "he who carries death in his pouch", with the interpretation: "I will be the master of my own destiny, and will decide when it's time for death to take me".
Like a prophecy, he has never been forgotten and his name is still mentioned each year, with events to commemorate his life and legacy.
QuadrilAyinde: Though the Dec 15 2018 43rd Superintendent Basic Course cadets that did their Passing Out Parade (POP) were 652 in Number... So if we should do an Average Random Calculation of Equal Representation by the 36 states + Abuja, then that gives an Average of 18 Officer Cadets per state...
Why I am sharing this is just to Let us have an Idea what Lies ahead and how Necessary it is to Start Working towards getting shortlisted and making it to Training... If Na Baba God U dey Look up to, Just like myself, START PRAYING NOW, IT'S NEVER TOO EARLY AND IF U CAN INCLUDE INTERMITTENT FASTING TOO, I DON'T THINK THAT'S TOO MUCH AS WELL (IN MY OPINION THOUGH)..
Badb0y4lyf: Don't buy Eod toks it second hand value is zero het the evil spirit take a very competent mechanic buy the cars from area with good roads do your check well the 9ja evil spirit will pay you in the long run. As you can still get your money back even if the car is a lemon when you resell
Hmmm...but I've been seeing many EODs around naija. It seems to be a pleasant looking ride. I wonder why you said it has a poor 2nd hand value..
gasparpisciotta: A British man whose penis fell off due to a severe blood infection had a new one built – on his arm, where he even got an extra 2 inches, according to a report.
Malcolm MacDonald, 45, a mechanic, suffered a horrific infection in his perineum that turned his fingers, toes and manhood black, The Sun reported.
“I had struggled for years with an infection in my perineum but I had no idea what could happen,” the separated dad of two from Thetford, Norfolk, told the outlet.
“When I saw my penis go black I was beside myself. It was like a horror film. I was in a complete panic. I knew deep down it was gone and I was going to lose it,” he said.
He said he was “completely gutted” when his penis “just dropped off on to the floor” in 2014 – but his testicles remained intact, according to the outlet.
“Because I had been through the devastation of knowing I was going to lose it, I just picked it up and put it in the bin,” MacDonald continued.

Goodnews1170: Well, I have found it some how difficult to answer questions from my experience. I bought my Samsung 32" television about 8yrs ago and it has been serving me greatly and without any one time fault.
Saying Samsung is the best may sound like I don't acknowledge the blessings I released on my television when I bought it. I am in the habit of praying for properties once I secure any and I know God has been gracious to me.
I travelled about 2hr journey from my location to visit s samsung shop that sells only Samsung products because I wanted to do what lies within my human ability to secure a good television. However, I prayed on it before use.
This is not to say that those whose own burnt earlier have no God's hand in theirs o. But my advice would be that as much as we make inquiries to get the best of properties, let's remember they are man-made and pray on them before use. Thank you all!
Icelandicboy: when it comes to household appliances/electronics just go for LG or Samsung, but if you are looking for a strong, durable TV, go for Samsung (if you can afford their price). I've been using my Samsung TV carelessly for years and I still haven't had any reason to take it for repairs.
How are you coping with bipolar life? Coming from a bipolar myself...
prinsam30: I bought 32inches TV plasma LG for my mum since 2012 for 49K tear leather, till tomorrow the tin still dey work, if NEPA like make dem reduce the voltage by minus 100% the TV go still on, nothing concern am with anyhow light do, the TV get voltage controller in it I think, forget about that TV guide of a thing, that tin is useless jor, I get am like three types, non dey regulate voltage as expected, just shine ur eyes and buy beta TV, some Belgium ar more durable than these overrated new TV
Donedeal1: In one word Honda Answers value for money.Observed whereby some brands will be freely exorbitant because of our so called believe.Get the direct toks EOD and be asured it's worth it .
But with the differing views, me I don dey think of shifting to a Toks C240 2004 model year.
Benz seems to have a more unified opinion, dont you think
dadabashua1: Sometimes seeking for advice on nairaland is not the best option,if someone ended up with a lemon,he will outrightly discourage you from getting a particular brand due to his fault and negligence.OP one word,HONDA IS NOT A BAD CAR,in fact one of the most reliable on our roads, just do what the manufacturers stated and you will be OK, I'm also saying that from experience. THANKS
Eldemmi: this is why I always say stereotyping is a big issue in D's region, because you have bad experience with a vehicle doesn't mean this brand is bad, you might be bought a lemon, mechanics might bleeped up, model may be bad etc..
from Benz to Toyota to Honda there are people who have bad experience with each brand.
buygala: Don't generalize on the basis of your own experience...
Aside Toyota, Honda is the most popular brand in Nigeria...and only very very few of the Hondas seen on Nigerian roads were bought brand new by their current owners...Yet there are so many of them on the road..
If fairly used Hondas are as troublesome as you say, why are there so many of them on Nigerian roads? ...Nigerians are some of the most pessimistic people in the world...If Hondas generally (even as Nigerian used) have a history of messing up, I am sure Nigerians would be avoiding it, especially mid to low income earners for whom every penny counts..
My First car was a Honda Acdemy which I bought Nigerian used...It served me well until I sold it and upgraded to a Nigerian used Baby Boy, which also served me well until I sold it ..
I presently use a Honda Discussion Continue that I got as direct toks...And it is damn reliable..It is so reliable that the last time I opened its bonnet was 3 months ago when I changed engine oil and oil filter...
I have friends who have used Honda cars for donkey years and they are quite happy with the cars
And Honda car parts (at least the parts of the Honda cars I have used) are pretty affordable...
Hmmmm..mbit between Honda and Mercedes which one reliable pass? Cost of maintenance NOT inclusive...
apasino01: The only Time you will enjoy Honda totally is when it’s bought brand new. Honda is not really a strong car. It has a short lifespan. I’m not saying it will stop working totally, but when it starts it’s madness it’s gonna be 1 week 1 wahala.
You can fix a particular fault in Honda 100 times.
So it’s better when it’s bought brand new before it starts it’s madness you must used it for long and tired of it maybe looking to buy another car.
Talking from experience.
Hmmm...thanks a lot for this.
Maybe I'll just revert to my beloved Mercedes oh...
