ogbonti: you think she is stupid ? she will put his as s to work when they arrive the US and he will end up paying for her new car and help her pay the mortgage - YOU THINK HE GETS A GREEN CARD AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE AMERICA? dey play ---- Him too dey claim love because he sees her as a pathway to go to America - hmmmmm - textbook definition of love does not exist - I believe when wants/ needs meet opportunity - people claim to be in love
every lady who cries that she wants to marry you - you are her prince charming - behind those tears is a calculation of what she wants to achieve through you - it may be financial need or as low an expectation as to show you off to pepper her friends - there is a plan to meet her wants/ needs and you are the opportunity - likewise a man claiming to be in love - probably he wants to domesticate a Kp ek. US - not willing to share it because he is tired or hoping around and just want society to see him as responsible - when NEED meet OPPORTUNITY - we claim it is love - love by textbook definition does not exist!!! its all a game of life
fyi - US Embassy does not give visas any how like that again - for online dating ooo - that lady will make up to 4 trips to Nigeria over a 2 year period for Embassy officials to accept this is real - and akata wey me I KNOW - when another GBOLA nack am when she arrive yank from Naija - case closed - dem no get loyalty gaan - Na so some boys those days carry oyinbo come from Europe go run matter for naija - Oyinbo return to Europe - cut off the guys - the naija guys ended up remaining in naija ---- so things dey happen ooo
BUT may God bless them both - I wish them well afterall this one better pass some 89 year old oyinbo wey some guys dey carry go Ikoyi
But abeg oh, shey na this babes dey pay their own flight ticket or the guys pay for them?
Cindypresh: Gini? Pls leave girls...go with your fellow gender and have your cheap fun🙄
They'll be glad I'm having fun with them. Someone is coming to bless them with superior genetic gbola, and possibly bring them out of the ghetto into the main Lagos city in the mainland.
Isn't that every village girl's prayer? Or you'll prefer they remain there, rotting and continue to be pitied?
Let those who can help them help them, while they also help the helper in ways they can.
Better than getting no help at all cos of some morality that hasn't put any good food in their bellies since they've been stuck there.
LeoThaGreat: I was at the Ounje Eko sales on Sunday March 17th, 2024 at Alubarika Primary school, Bariga, Lagos
The program started quite late for whatever reason. People were set and on queue since 10mins before 11, but the first person was attended to by 12:15pm Wrong, they were only called by that time and were attended to by 1pm, the reason for further delay was network issues (with the payment collection machines?) according to what we heard
There were 3 queues, 2 for females, 1 for males. The female queues were rowdy as they often skipped queues. The male queue would've been quite rowdy if it weren't for volunteer conductors among the people on the queue who don't want people skipping the line, and the respect for the security personnel present, and the perceived frustration exuding from some people on the queue.
At the payment section, you either pay with Cowry or ATM Card (cash was later accepted but I don't know the process) After paying, I was given a voucher for each items I declared that I wanted to buy
By 2:55pm, I was done being attended to by going to the stand for each item I wanted and was given a pack.
I bought: 5kg rice - 5370 ? 1 crate of eggs - 2700 1kg Onions -450
PS: . The last egg I bought at a market was 3,800 for a crate, so I'll say the price if eggs at Ounje Eko was worth my effort.
. The Gaari was well blended and it's not multi purpose. It's better for eba only.
. Some women said the beans wasn't up to their cost expectation. But I suspect they were there to buy and resell.
. I couldn't buy the tomatoes, pepper and chilli because I don't have a fridge. I didn't consider it, so I can't say if it's worth buying.
Overall, I'll say the initiative was a good one. It would've been helpful if the whole payment and booking could be done online, and delivered at one's doorstep, but I understand that people who aren't tech savvy, and are within the targeted tax bracket will likely be left out.
I can't grade the rice quality for now till I prepare it, but I'm sure it's Nigerian rice
Thank you to the: Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Olusanya Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Jide Sanwo-Olu
Igbega ipinle Eko, ajumose ni
So you mean you don't have fridge, you're truly broke sha oh...
