You people are only seeing this from the perspective of money due to unemployment or job security without also considering the risk involved. The chances of one losing his life is very real, joining any of the security agencies be it armed forces or paramilitary comes with its own attendant risk, especially in the face of the the ongoing insurgency make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before joining. My coursemate who joined NIS in 2017 have toured the north east twice. The immigration/NCS are embarking on massive recruitment most of the new officers will be drafted to border towns in the north east that are largely ungoverned to support the army.
Like I said earlier salary is based on rank and not profession be it in the army, navy or anywhere in the military, eg a Lieutenant who studied education and another Lieutenant who is a medical doctor are on same salary scale, their bonuses may differ slightly. There many multinational/NGOs that pay better than either the armed forces/para military outfit.

I know about the army's own.

Every Lieutenant salary is 180k

But doctors are in addition placed on Medical Salary Scale from the United Nations which 133k, making a total of 311k.

Guy na person wey geh connect dey enter NGO, it's atleast still easier from Medicine POV to enter the Armed Forces or their sister organizations than the former.

Payments in the army or any military or paramilitary outfit is based on rank and not profession. Bonuses may differ according to your specialization/dept but salaries are the same for every officers of same rank.

Those bonuses is what I'll like to know pertaining to the Immigration salary scale for those offering professional services.

1. Take all ur huge but not always in use money to a micro finance bank:there you Re free from online banking and atp and bank app.

2. If u want to continue with ur current Mega banks.. On the acct you have huge money, disconnect that acct from ur fone. That is, use only Online banking and not USDD. That way, if ur fone gets missing they can't bring up ur BVN from dialing any code on your fone cuz its no more connected.... With this u won't b getting alert anymore. You can b using the bank app to check your balance or go physically to bank. U will also not b using ATM for that acct......... But gud news is dt ur save!

Mine happened on the 1st April this year. Lost my phone on the morning of this day and there was lockdown. No office was opened for any report. The next day was open day and account read 6k out of the 271k. In fact, the police did not even help matters while i was locking for money to feed my family, they demanded for 40k to fined missing phone and file in a criminal charge against the thief and fraudster. Yet to have this money so my mystery remains unsolved.
