Try read well, but again, even if the whole north land is used to produce rice, Nigeria will still have same problem. There must be law that prohibit selling to anyone else apart from the authorized dealer's, who will mill it and in turn sell it to Nigerians only. At this rate, even if they produce 1 billion tones of paddy, customers from other country will populate the market and make it unattainable to Nigerians as usual. Whtas the use of producing rice in Nigeria and it still is expensive like it is now. Nonsense, everyone wants to rip us off. Rubbish

With our porous borders, outsiders will always come in to buy rice. Massive output across all rice producing areas in Nigeria will be the way to go as this is big business. I remember when l was into rice farming in Anambra State, traders came from Kogi to buy milled rice from the rural markets despite the fact that what was being produced is not even taking care of the local populace.........it is business.

The husks can be used as fuel for small turbines that will power the mills and also serve as feed stock for cattle, goats and sheep and also it can be used for organic manure that will help eliminate dependence on NPK and its attendant environment consequences. I hope the govt will think towards that line. Kudos to Kebbi.

With Lagos acquiring land for rice production in SW and Anambra and Ebonyi also doing well in rice production we expect Nigeria to be self sufficient in in rice farming soon.

Thinking more of the private sector taking up the initiative rather than waiting for government. Setting up a rice husk particle boards production unit will be a plus.

It's cos there is no Chilean embassy in Nigeria.

The embassy close to Nigeria is in Ghana.

When my application was submitted there, I was redirected to Nairobi.

They said application is closed for Nigerians applying to Chile.

It means if there is any need for me to visit Chile, it is just to drop by at their Embassy at Riverside drive which is not too far from Parish in Nairobi.

Whoever he is, he deserves what was meted on him!

It is also used in generating electricity for those in rice producing communities likewise making organic fertilizers just as making fertilizers from it is what made Kenya's Samuel Rigu, who runs Safi Organics to win the Total Startupper Of The Year award, collecting $25,000 for his win. Safi organics has previously won other awards including the 2015 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program.
