docfarmer3: I'm an avid follower of your posts. Just joined nairaland. Thank you for all the info shared. It is said that a teacher's reward is in heaven.
That said, Hibiscus and zobo aren't actually the same. Zobo is roselle in English. Yakuwa in Hausa. Don't know what it's called in other languages. And FYI I just discovered that neem and Dogonyaro aren't the same. Dogonyaro is actually eucalyptus tree. The Hausa name for neem is Garbejiya. Roselle is a specie of Hibiscus. which in particular is used for Zobo. As per Dogonyaro which is the Hausa name likewise Darbejiya and Bedi while the Hindi name is Neem, so they are one and same.

Olu20090: Separation as Nnamdi is advocating will solve 90% of the problems seen in Nigeria today. So because we are still one Nigeria, that is why The Young Shall Grow Motors owed by Chief Vincent Obianodo who hails from Anambra State is not offering good services to fare paying passengers? South Sudan once did say once we separated all our problems will be solved.......it is now a living hell. You have every right to see Nnamdi Kanu as your liberator just as l also an igbo have every right not to see him as one! |

SamMilla1: What do you expect when every little money they used to make to sustain themselves have been channeled to one evil vault called TSA which is guided by emperor Napoleon of the North. When a snake is pushed to the wall, it has no other option than to turn around and bite. And you think this started in the last one year? Have you been living in Nigeria or better still receiving registered mails over the years? I sent down a parcel via EMS to Nigeria, October 2014 and NIPOST (Onipanu Lagos) made my brother pay an extra N1,200 before collecting it but when the same content was sent down via a private courier firm they had it home delivered and made no demand for extra payment! |

Olu20090: Nigerians like suffering themselves. This country makes over $30 billion a yr in revenue from oil yet people are suffering. Nnamdi Kanu is there suffering to get us from this mess...an unending mess yet stubborn Nigerians prefer suffering. Nigeria will never ever change even if you give her 10000yrs....NEVER. Solution: Divide this country. What concerns Nnamdi Kanu with the poor service rendered by the bus company mentioned? |

NaijaElba: Dear Nairalanders,
Kindly help me out with my little problem
I applied for a Temporary Residence Visa to Chile for a postgraduate program via the Chilean embassy in Nairobi.
I did my certificate Legalization with the Nigeria Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Abuja.
The Chilean Embassy in Nairobi had requested for Verbal note or specimen signatures of the person authorized to sign/legalized my certificates.
They said until Nigeria High Commission in Nairobi forward the said document to them that is when they will start processing my visa application.
The Chilean Embassy said they had written to the Nigeria High Commission on 22nd June, 2016, followed by numerous telephone calls, that they have not gotten any response to that effect to enable them process my visa to Chile.
I had written to Nigeria High Commission in Nairobi via the two emails i saw on there website this morning ng@nigeriahighcom.org, consular@nigeriahighcom.org to plead with them to help me forward the said document to enable them process my visa. To my surprise the email addresses bounced back, which means its not in existence.
I have been on this for the past two months.
My host in Chile has already bought my ticket slated for August 10, 2016, thinking the visa would be ready before August 10.
My school will resume on August 16, 2016.
NairalLanders Kindly help me out with the appropriate email address of Nigeria High Commission in Nairobi to enable me meet up with my postgraduate classes. Or a good advise on how i can contact them.
My whatsApp number is 08088109421
I look forward to your response.
Thanks. Get the High commission on +254202633941, make the call from 12 Noon (Nigerian Time) |

GazecoSpurt: No company wants to operate at a loss yeah true, but a company that wants to gain reputation and a large customer base wouldn't mind to risk its profit, this is one investment that is sure to bring returns on the long run. And truly Gazeco is new, as we want to establish as a quality and price friendly brand, we would need individuals with every experience necessary to occupy key roles in the company. If you don't mind @Pavore9 your expertise can be an asset to the company. We will pm you for more details I appreciate you having confidence in my expertise but would have to let you know that because of my schedule l will not be available to be part of your team. People need where to invest their funds and assurances must be provided so it will not be a gamble on their part, loosing their investment in a situation where things do not go as expected. I believe we are all enlightened enough to make informed business decisions. |

Agriculture › Re: The Rice Investment Plan by Pavore9(mod): 9:11am On Aug 10, 2016 |
GazecoSpurt: Thanks for the inquiry. In our plans, we target to produce quality products, for the low to high socio-economic class. With inflation affecting the Nigeria market, we've also drawn plans on how to bycut all the long channels of distribution that leads to unessary hike in price, so we are going to create a platform(s) where consumers can purchase directly from us, or retailers at a very fair price. All this have been indicated in the project plan. So with all these in place, we forecast to sell our milled rice for atleast 250 and at most for 300 per kg. Our paddies will also be sold for 150 to 170 per kg. I have years of field experience when it comes to rice farming and know what practically lowers cost of production.....engaging with minimal manual labour at the various stages. |

@GazecoSpurt you posted "Our target yield per hectare is 7.5 tons (7500kg) and thats about 150 bags of rice from one hectare and a bag of rice is sold for at least 12,500, so do the maths"........The 150 bags from one hectare you mentioned selling at N12,500, is it paddy rice or milled rice? |
