While I believe that no country can do without import, the question is what are you importing? I am a strong believer that apple and some temperate crops can grow in certain areas of Nigeria with relatively low average temperature.Example, Jos and the surrounding can sustain apple. Other regions include Obudu hills (aka Obudu cattle ranch area), and some areas of Kwara state.

The problem is who will spend money in testing and experimenting? If one person invest his/her resources to experiment and confirm my suspicion,
you will see everyone running into that area. Our school system and value system have rendered us copy cat who always take the paths of less challenges.

It is sad we get so high on political affiliations that many ignore the staring realities, whichever political divide we find ourselves, we all ply the same bad roads bearing the consequences of incompetency and God forbids that it leads to accidents, untimely death knows no Pro-APC nor Pro-PDP. Rather than people close marking their State Governors and local government chairmen, they prefer being busy blowing hot air online!

Dealing with corruption is a collective effort, the political class are smart enough to devise the divide and rule strategy always creating scenes where the masses would be busy fighting themselves along tribal and religious lines, while they do the fleecing.

Politics is indeed a labyrinth!

'Wike said that Nigeria had enough laws to deter people from fleecing the nation'. Did it stop the looting? Yes, life is sacred and death penalty may not be the appropriate punishment for corrupt officials but they have over time made mockery of the law, whereby they steal and still legally wiggle their out, smiling with their loot.

Internet is expensive everywhere. My house internet plus football station is 15k per month. I can stream watch full match on net. In Malaysia. My phone is on the average of 1500 per month. Mind you most spots has free wifi. Internet still remain expensive sha.

l am based in Nairobi, Kenya and l use Airte's Unlimitnet package where 1 pay N2,000 monthly to enjoy 400mins of calls and 2000 sms to all network in Kenya and 2GB of data and even if one consumes all the 2GB of data on the first day of subscription, you will continue to browse till the end of the 30days. l have been on 0MB for the past 3 weeks and have been watching videos and football online likewise Skyping but Airtel will never try that in Nigeria.
