Let us be realistic with ourselves, yes we locally produce bananas/plantains but how many banana/plantain packaging companies do we have in Nigeria? There are so many zig-zags in the agricultural landscape and any aspect we can straighten, there in lies our opportunity. We are so used to harvesting without much care, load everything into the trucks and head to the market.

One needs to watch this short video as it is the same video that did inspire some Ugandan youths to come together to start packaging plantain which is sent to some Upscale supermarkets in Nairobi where foreigners buys them off quickly.

You can't win against Northernization, Rather than fighting against it fight for your stake and benefit in it. Just like what the Western powers are doing in the Iranian deal, and what Black Americans did in America. There are tired of fighting against it, they rather seek to benefit from it.

What model has the North got to offer that enhances the human capital development that would make a Southerner to want to Northernize?

You will do better by listing the varieties you have under each crop and list their Characteristics, Resistances / Tolerances. For example under cabbage, Pretoria F1 is one of the varieties which yields about 5kg per head and takes about 2 and half months after transplanting to mature. You should list expected yield per acre/hectare of a particular seed variety etc.

This is the standard practice in selling seeds and there are lots of newbies amongst us who are starting out in Agriculture who do not know the many differences, so listing out the varieties will help them in googling to see what the expected harvest will look like and help them make informed decision on which to order for.

That is true. l do also wish the private sector steps in, where the league will not be in the hands of the bureaucracy of the ministry of sports. There are many companies/individuals in Nigeria that can afford to own basketball teams and big centres where they play their home games all spread across major cities in Nigeria (excluding some parts of the North).

Good. Just wish we have a vibrant local league and just as the Kenyan ladies have become the perpetual champions of women volleyball in Africa, we can do so with basketball.

We really need such research to help many women.

Rule number 8 states Don't post false information on Nairaland. Someone raised an attention disclaiming the pictures you posted. l called your attention to disprove his position and the failure to do so would attract a ban as a repercussion for posting a misleading information. We have had cases of people being defrauded and a red flag pops up and you expected me to ignore it.

Civility does not and will not cost us anything. What has 'dis silly assumption made mõrons like u vote in d dull one' got to do with issues being raised and it is not as if you are sacrificing your time to help people acquire it but earning an income from it.

What is wrong in civilly assuring us that what you are offering is real? Civility and salesmanship are totally compatible.

Don't intercrop rather section the land whereby in each section you have a different crop. Check out this link https://www.nairaland.com/2534011/fresh-lettuce-new-green-crude#37071947 so you have an idea how your lettuce section should be looking when you go into it.

Also think of cucumber and lettuce. Go through threads that focused on them and you will certainly get people to link up with, people who are practically on ground. The market is there for you as there over 50 hotels within Awka that you can approach to sell directly to thereby cutting them off from going to Eke Awka to buy them. l know those traders at Eke Awka get their supplies from the North unless that has changed. You will be at an advantage if you get the cultivation and marketing right.
