ZombiePUNISHER: This Regina Daniels is a disgrace to Nigerian ladies..
Such a gold digger...
Spits.. She is a hero to other young ones not a disgrace, who are you expecting her to marry? She accepted the belief pushed by men that "men are polygamous in nature" and took her slot as one of his wives and live in luxury or do you expect her to settle down with a struggling guy who when he finally becomes financially comfortable would now flaunt it at her face that "men are polygamous in nature" and gets involved with other women. It is her choice and she is not a minor. |

I was told that at UBTH, the doctor demanded money for oxygen and I told them that I would get money from the ATM at UBTH when I arrived there. But on my arrival there, I was told that my daughter had already died."

Budline1: Advice your friend to quit the drug business before it's too late. They either end up behind bars or killed. When he completes the house, he'll still need more money for other things. He's not gonna be lucky always. Drug business is a dirty and deadly business I wouldn't even advice my enemy to do no matter the reward. W He is not my friend, just that he is a fellow igbo who is squatting with someone I know. The guy is hardened as he is proud of reeling out his criminal lifestyle in Asia and believes no "good life" exists outside drug business. |
Politics › Re: "I’ll Step Up Action Against Drug Traffickers" – President Buhari by Pavore9: 8:13am On May 22, 2019 |
mmsen: Would they have gotten into the risky business of drug smuggling if they were not driven then by a lack of financial options? It is more tied to the greed to make quick buck than financial options, you see a mule who successfully delivers a package and gets $3,000 on safe return back to Nigeria. This is over N1million, which is about 3 years monthly salary based on the new minimum wage and this same person is eager to do another trip. |
Politics › Re: "I’ll Step Up Action Against Drug Traffickers" – President Buhari by Pavore9: 7:51am On May 22, 2019 |
mmsen: Those are not the people carrying the drugs.
The people used to transport the drugs, the people used to assume the risk do so out of desperation. Of course they have their mules but are the kingpins of the trade. I know one who was a mule, gets $6,000 per successful delivery before he was arrested and jailed in Thailand and after serving he was deported to Nigeria. He went to Abuja and got immigration to issue a new passport with a different name. He is here in Nairobi, working on his visa back to Thailand to continue with trafficking as he says he needs to complete the 3 storey building he has going on in Aba. |
Politics › Re: "I’ll Step Up Action Against Drug Traffickers" – President Buhari by Pavore9: 7:32am On May 22, 2019 |
mmsen: Would people traffic drugs if you dealt with the economic barriers at home? They are folks who drug trafficking has seeped into their blood stream, not about the economy. Why is that those who have hundreds of millions in their bank accounts, proceeds from drug trafficking still continue with the trade? |
Travel › Re: Nigerian Government Engages US Over Suspension Of Drop Box Visa by Pavore9: 5:23am On May 22, 2019 |
wadijoo: Drop box visa is for those who are renewing their visas and normally they don't go for appearance interview. They will just drop it into US embassy box and the embassy will just treat it and renew their visas without any interview. But now everybody will show up for interview even if you are 1000yrs old, you will come for interview. Shikena! And one can not blame the US embassy for it as a good number have abused it. Can you even imagine that Kenyans are issued 5 year visa by the US embassy in Nairobi, what they benefitted from Obama's visit in 2015. |
