HopeAtHand: Ikwerre share similar names with Igbos. I'm 100% certain my native name is shared in every state in the SE. Sharing same name is our similarity. One of the differences btwn Ikwerre and Igbo is character. There are things Ikwerres will not do because it is improper and we are people from well mannered and cultured society. In Igboland, making money or attaining wealth and relevance by any means possible is culture.
That old man is already in his closing stages, there is obviously no future in that marriage. And because there is no future in the marriage, I can safely arrive at the conclusion that the major reason for her marriage to that man is whats in it for her and never out of love (@Truckpusher ) or affection. You can bank on this.
We all know that between Ikwerres and Igbos the only people that will ever think of giving their daughter out in marriage on this circumstance are the Igbos. This Ijeoma is an Igbo woman, I can dig her info out in a matter of days if anyone is in doubt.
@Proudlyngwa, one of my best Igbo Nlander. I greet you.

I have noticed that some states have had noticeable improvement in power supply. I have also noticed that some power lines are better than some others. Here in Onitsha, some people have good power supply while other are always in darkness. 33kv and some other lines like that usually have better power supply.
Buhari and Fashola have not even added a pinch of input in the power sector.

JoeArmsD1: The sad truth there but, am seeing the rebirth of the true biafra.
Nigeria is 75% likely to become a dismembered entity in the next coming 10 yrs.
BUT
The reasons igbos are hated in Nigeria is because of one man who led to the killings of igbos in the north
CHUKWUMA KADUNA NZEOGWU
He led the coup that left major northern soldiers dead.
According to their kinsmen, they are not Igbos but Anioma.
But according to Nigerians, Igbos carried out the coup.
They are always the first to disassociate themselves with Igbos.
The reasons for this Igbophobia and Animosity against them is because of an Anioma man who will in problem distance themselves from Igbos.
Biafra declaration in 1967 was necessitated by the continued killing of Easterners in Northern region in retaliation of the tagged " Igbos killing of the Northerners".
Today, Igbos are now bearing the wrath and unforgiving northerners but i have never seen an Anioma man come out to claim that they are the cause of this widespread hatred against Igbos.
what Igbos in their adage called "Ochicha mere ihe ebolu oke". My Brother, this is exactly why I want this Biafra struggle to stop. Igbos have shed enough blood and gotten on the bad book because of the big brother role they have been playing for the minorities of the Delta. Akwaibom, Rivers and Delta State have much to gain from restructuring and even more from Biafra. However, I don't see them shouting and getting killed for that. Igbos should learn to mind their business! We should distance our selves from the Igboids of the Niger delta |

Certainly, sharing a country with scumbags is not easy at all. Oyo state certainly cannot survive without federal allocation. I don't know when barren swathe of land has ever been used as a parameter for state creation.
The solution for all these rubbish is restructuring. We all know that the powers that be won't allow it.
States are created based on its ability to sustain itself and in order to bring government closer to the people. In Nigeria everything is politics! |

2. Buying of cars, not a bad idea, but why barn the keke to provide the cars which was obviously your business? Why force people into debts when they can easily raise money with their keke to afford similar cars on a far lower rate.
3. Rochas I mean why put people in more bondage when you can actually free them. Make those taxi a choice, allow keke drivers continue in their business. Some could actually choose the taxis over their keke, let it be a choice.
4. The heat you've caused in the market destruction is still fresh in the minds if those who lost valuable goods and properties. You had your reasons I know, but look through the eyes of the people you'll see other reasons.
5. There are a lot of things your state will do to create wealth and job opportunities with the amount you just wasted on taxis that is far less important for a state project. Okorocha is living in a fools paradise. Why must he ban keke? Nigeria and myopic leaders self! |

Talk about corruption, talk about buhari's holiday to london, fulani menace, inflation, hunger. Now imagine another 14 years with something like them in power. God forbid.

What's the wage bill of imo state I'm sure it's close to 3 billion that's even if it's 2 billion a month that's means you have less than 8 billion for a state like imo state for 6 months

Lol it's stupidity Oga, in Nigeria, most people provide their own amenities so let's not go there. The government spends nothing in that regard. mrvitalis: This is actually very small to run a state
Imagine my state imo with over 3million people with 17bn in 6 months ??
If every individual is taxed 5k a month that's 15bn every month and with that we will get our desired development and we will have reason to hold our governors accountable
But no we decide to spend far more to achieve nothing
A typical car owner in Nigeria will spend 400k a years averagely to maintain his cars
But as him to pay a tax of 10k a month for road maintaince that will save his car he will protest
We have over 11 million cars in Nigeria ...if on average each pays 10k every month that's 110bm that's over 1.2 trillion on road maintaince
Say federal government takes 30% and states 70% of what you contribute tell me why we would have bad roads Imo state gets more than that. Take a look at the deductions(5billion plus). There is truly no explanation for mediocrity! |
