Stop talking nonsense Mr. Man. Take away the contributions of the Jews from the modern civilization and you and the world would be back to the medieval era in a heartbeat. Per Zionism and Globalism, you cannot stop it - nothing and nobody would. It can only be delayed but not stopped. So quit killing yourself with bitterness. Zionism and Globalism do not amount to racial genocide (as some lunatic liberals tend to push) nor does it necessarily imply racial superiority. So what's your problem? ZombieNation: |

Stop blaming Wike for Amaechi's arrogance and stupidity. Amaechi was once in league with Abbey against Wike. But where is Abbey now? How many of Wike's prominent associates have dumped him for Amaechi? That should tell you something about Amaechi's character. His madness did not start today. But this is just the beginning of his shame. Wait until APC starts closing in on him. helinues: 1 Like |

Yea, the fact does not matter as long we blame them. Yes, that imaginary region is to be demonized, even though the original piece was written by a Mr. Hafiiz, with an offer to pay all expenses for a third party verification. Yep, none of those facts matters. Why would fact matter when we can conveniently blame all our inadequacies on that one group we all love to hate. Yea. Yet, when they retaliate, we use that as justification to be more vile and dishonest towards them. [s] maryjames9:[/s] |

I understand you perfectly well, but you must also concede that the guy has a valid point. While formal political push may not be required, moving the motion in the NA with the majority support from the affected regions' representatives would give the agitation more credibility, more legitimacy, and more international sympathy, even if the motion is killed by the other 4 regions. gidgiddy: |

That's not scriptural. Bible permits divorce on the basis of adultery. Neither Chris, nor Benny had such cases. So using them as benchmark in Joshua's case shows bad sense of judgment/justice. In addition to the adulteries, the woman started the marriage on deception about her genotype. That alone would be too hard to endure for any man - only for her to add adultery and constant harassment to the mix. Fact is, even this pastor would divorce under such circumstances. Here he's just playing holier than thou and making political capital out of Joshua's misfortune. meromero11: 1 Like |

Dude, you are actually very funny. So, what gave you the impression that the Corinthian Church (a few group of people meeting at homes) would have a need to speak in a language that everyone present do not understand? Oh, I get it, you are probably from one of those churches that use interpreters, and you grew up thinking that your local dialect is the tongue Paul was talking about in 1Cor. 14 : 2. Well dude, sorry to blast your bubble. But, as you narrated, if you had truly experienced the spirit enabled groaning communication that no one could comprehend (not even your own mind), then know that millions of people from around the world, are DAILY experiencing the awesomeness of speaking in (yes) UNKNOWN tongues by the utterance and residue of the anointing that the Holy Ghost supplies. By the way, there is such a thing as tongues of angels (see one of my comments on this thread ). And it is really laughable how you chose to ignore the word "mysteries in the spirit" and "speaks to God" in your funny mental gymnastics. Dude, Paul says that (in personal privacy) he "pray in tongues more than you all" yet, he'd not utter it in a public service unless there's interpretation, so that everyone in the Church would be edified. And so you know, doubting Thomas, there are a lot of ministries where both spiritual tongues and interpretation are given in public services TODAY. But even at that, Paul says to "test all spirits". MuttleyLaff: Your entire 5 questions are answered by just one verse of Scripture: Rom. 8:26. Thing, is the language you rant about is the invention of humans for inter-personal communication. But if you know anything about the human makeup (especially the mind) you'd know that countless impulses that are processed by your brains cannot be articulated in words or human language. What am I even saying, the fact that you got stuck in the limitations of human language does not mean that clearly articulated speech is the only form of language. Finally: 1 Corinthians 14:2 - KJV Got it? |

Truefaith: Dude, I was giving you scriptural analysis with Biblical references, and you're here ranting about Seymour and Azusa Street? Do you think that 1Cor. 14:2-4 and Romans 8:26 were written just a little over 100 years ago? Very funny. Truefaith: . Bros, you are actually sounding so much like a Pharisee. Are you one? Asking because, just like you are now demonizing the Holy Ghost because of what you don't understand about the work of God, the Pharisees also demonized the Holy Ghost and claimed that Jesus was casting out devils by the chief devil, Belzebub. (Luke 11:15) You sure learnt your antichristian lines very well. By the way, did you notice that what you now call the Wonders of God in Acts Chapter 2, some unreasonable bystanders who witnessed it actually called it Wine Babbling. . I'm sure the future generations, say from 2119, will see the crap you talk now about tongues, and wonder the kind of human being you are to have missed something so glaringly glorious. Truefaith: I put it there for you demon magnifying folks to know that Jesus has been glorified, and he is now the central focus of the universe. Not any of those your wanton ugly demons. Truefaith: Yep, only those who refuse to accept the truth would be vulnerable to delusions. For us in Christ, Satan is defeated forever. |
Religion / Re: Praying In Tongues : The Weapon That Builds You Up - Joseph Prince Sermon Notes by pchukwudi: 2:17pm On Mar 10, 2019 |
I think you are confusing yourself. Did you even bother to read those scriptures? If you did, you'd have seen where it says that no one (not even your own mind) understands you when you pray in certain tongues (without interpretation). That's definitely a different kind of tongue from the one we saw in Acts chapter 2, because there, folks who were watching actually understood what Peter and his friends where saying. And mind you, each one of those onlookers understood it in his/her own native language. This is like everyone on this forum understanding what I'm writing here in his/her native language even though, to me, I am writing it in English. The point is not on what you call it (language or tongue), the point is in the ability or not of the speaker (and everyone else) to understand what is being said. Yes, tongue can also be interpreted as language. But do you understand all human languages? How about the language (tongues) of angels? Can any human being understand or interpret that without revelation? Or did you not know that there's such a thing as language (tongues) of angels mentioned in the Bible? See 1Co13:1 Now, if you cannot understand all human languages, let alone grasping those of angels, why then do you think it's impossible for God to give you a personal spiritual language (or tongue) for prayers, which no one else but him alone understands? Religion / Re: Praying In Tongues : The Weapon That Builds You Up - Joseph Prince Sermon Notes by pchukwudi: 10:23am On Mar 10, 2019 |
You are wrong my dear. The New Testament did not begin and end in the book of Acts. Contrary to your assertion, there are at least 3 different types of tongues that the Bible teaches. 1) Tongues in other known languages that the speaker did not know before. This was typically used as a sign of God's power/approval for the first batch of Christian missionary and evangelical works (Acts 2:1-4). 2) Tongues in unknown languages that may be interpreted by either the speaker or someone else in a congregation, via the inner intuition/witness given/inspired by the Holy Spirit. This is equal to simple words of edification/prophecy. And it should be typically used for public/congregational/church meetings/services. ( 1 Corinthians 14:27) 3) Tongues in unknown utterances/groaning which cannot be understood or interpreted by any human, but which God the Father perfectly understands and uses to edify us and intervene in critical situations of our lives and environment. This should be typically used for personal/private prayers - intercession or supplications, etc. (Corinthians 14:2-4). So, as you can see, there's much more to learn about this mystery rather than demonizing it. And, by the way, demons are much weaker than the angels of God. And satan has already been forever defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Truefaith: 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why Is Jimi Agbaje Always Playing The Politics Of Tribalism In Lagos? by pchukwudi: 11:25am On Mar 07, 2019 |
There was no contradiction there. Go and study your history. Akintola ran an anti-igbo campaign against Awolowo for the position of the Western Premier, just as Tinibu is running an anti-igbo campaign against Agbaje for the position Lagos governor. We are talking about a regional government here. The fact that the East and North voted massively for the federal government of the day did not change the fact that the federal government of the day was led by a northerner just like the unitary APC government of today is also led by a northerner. Belewa, personally imposed Akintola against the wish of both the Yorubas and their Igbo neighbors. That's why (unlike Jimi) Akintola senselessly ran with his igbo demonizing rhetorics. He painted Awolowo as an Igbo domination enabler. I believe he did this because Zik was not in his support. It was actually the incarceration of Awolowo, the declaration of state of emergency in the Western Region, and the imposition of Akintola that triggered the Nigeria's first attempt on military coup. #ImDoneWithYouThough schoolboij: |

God bless you. The madness did not start today. The template Tinibu is using today (under the APC govt) against Jimi was actually designed and handed down by the late Akintola. He (as a puppet of the then Northern led federal government under Belewa) institutionalized anti-igbo rhetorics in the Yoruba land just to oust Awolowo. But while Akintola succeeded (by crook) in ousting Awolowo in the scheme of leadership, many Yoruba's did not buy his crap. That's exactly the template the Tinubu gang (under APC) is using against Agbaje (and Ndigbo) today. But Tinibu and APC too will fail. Thank God for the honest Yoruba folks like you. Politics / Re: Ozekhome: Fanning The Embers Of Disunity And Subjugation Of Igbo Race by pchukwudi: 8:56am On Mar 07, 2019 |
I don't usually bother dignifying slowpokes with a response. But this is an exception, at least for the sake of the reasonable bystander. 1) Your god did not win the last election, by any stretch of imagination. It was stolen on his behalf. 2) In your alternative universe, when the spokesperson of the government covertly calls the entire country to hate one ethnic group (as your hero Femi just did) it is not a hate speech, but calling him out on his hypocritical silliness (as I just did) is what you term hate. Shame on you. 3) When the north gives a block vote to Buhari, you interpret it as love. But when the greater south gives the same block vote to someone else, you interpret it as hate. Hypocrite, is that your own definition of democracy? 4) In a democratic system, inclusiveness is NOT a reward, it's a right. Everyone has the right to vote whoever he or she pleases. But whoever succeeds in leading a democratic government makes it inclusive for everyone. Inclusiveness is the minimum viable yardstick for measuring democratic leadership. Thus, your winner takes it all mindset is a cave man mentality. Unfortunately, that seems to be who you are, judging by the crap you posted below. smallsmall: |

What a typical, baseless rant of a failed mouthpiece. Are you even aware that the "millions of Nigerians" you allude to (as supporting/reelecting you) are less than 8% of the population. That's a huge question mark on your legitimacy and commitment to nation building. Even with your wholesome riggings, institutional corruption, gross voter intimidation and suppression, your party got less than 25% of vote from the South East as a zone. But you won't tell your gullible followers anything about that fact. Rather than dealing with the glaring issues raised by Mr. Mike Ozekhome, all you could come up with as a spokesman (after 7 whole days of searching for nonexistent alibi) was this dumb diversionary personal attacks on the learned gentleman. Shame! Where were you when your principal used his infamous 97% vs 5% narrative to justify his very deliberately planned noninclusive style of governance against Ndigbo? Where were you when your principal used his warped sense of "merit" to justify his lopsided, nepotistic, deliberate and total exclusion of Ndigbo from the security apparatus of the country? Mr. spokesman, are you aware that Nigeria is being tagged as going the way of Venezuela currently? You should be telling us what's your principal's take on that, rather than this childish rant against the truth. And, talking about Venezuela vs Nigeria and your falsehoods about the economy, here's a nice food for thought: You guys are so shamelessly dishonest. 117 Likes 16 Shares |
