Stop talking nonsense Mr. Man.

Take away the contributions of the Jews from the modern civilization and you and the world would be back to the medieval era in a heartbeat.

Per Zionism and Globalism, you cannot stop it - nothing and nobody would. It can only be delayed but not stopped. So quit killing yourself with bitterness.

Zionism and Globalism do not amount to racial genocide (as some lunatic liberals tend to push) nor does it necessarily imply racial superiority. So what's your problem?

ZombieNation:

Do not confuse antisemitism to anti-Zionist

Zionism is the Jews end game.

To achieve this, Jews promote communism which on its own is anti Christian

Hitler rightly said, "I have no problems with Jews but only communists. But all the communists in Bavaria are Jews".

The Jew is the most racist being on the planet. They invented antisemitism to explain away why they have been rightfully persecuted in Europe.

The Jew is a sneaky bastard and I have come to realise they are worst than their Muslim tools.

Stop blaming Wike for Amaechi's arrogance and stupidity.

Amaechi was once in league with Abbey against Wike. But where is Abbey now?

How many of Wike's prominent associates have dumped him for Amaechi?

That should tell you something about Amaechi's character.

His madness did not start today. But this is just the beginning of his shame.

Yea, the fact does not matter as long we blame them.

Yes, that imaginary region is to be demonized, even though the original piece was written by a Mr. Hafiiz, with an offer to pay all expenses for a third party verification. Yep, none of those facts matters. Why would fact matter when we can conveniently blame all our inadequacies on that one group we all love to hate. Yea. undecided Yet, when they retaliate, we use that as justification to be more vile and dishonest towards them.

Now i don't know if that is a compliment or they are devoid of good character. Until Nigerians regardless of regional differences begin to see and call black black an white white, this country will not experience true development.

Fact is this region hate Tinubu, Okorocha for the same reason they love and cherish Saraki. Fact is that KWARANS are fed up of this guy Saraki and his family for so many reasons. I understand you perfectly well, but you must also concede that the guy has a valid point. While formal political push may not be required, moving the motion in the NA with the majority support from the affected regions' representatives would give the agitation more credibility, more legitimacy, and more international sympathy, even if the motion is killed by the other 4 regions.

gidgiddy:

That is like someone telling the Pilot of an Airplane to try and fly to the moon. He can try but he will never make it so there is no point

Even if all the elected political representatives of the SE/SS were Biafran sympathisers, the representatives of the other 4 zones far outnumber them. Any vote on a bill on referendum will be buried by the other 4 zones in a landslide.

Had Nigeria been structured differently in a regional setting where each region can move a motion of independence or referendum, then take to Nigerian Assembly for ratification, it would have been a different thing. That's how Scotland got its referendum in 2014. The Scottish National Party(SNP)won majority of the seats in the Scottish Regional Assembly and they moved a motion for a referendum which they won. They now took that decision to the British national parliament in London and it was ratified that Scotland has the right of self determination. Scotland was then given a date for referendum. But If Britain had been structured like Nigeria, and the SNP had gone to London for referendum, the other 3 zones that make up Britain would have killed it.

That's not scriptural.

Bible permits divorce on the basis of adultery.

Neither Chris, nor Benny had such cases. So using them as benchmark in Joshua's case shows bad sense of judgment/justice.

In addition to the adulteries, the woman started the marriage on deception about her genotype. That alone would be too hard to endure for any man - only for her to add adultery and constant harassment to the mix.

Fact is, even this pastor would divorce under such circumstances.

Here he's just playing holier than thou and making political capital out of Joshua's misfortune.

angry Dude, you are actually very funny.

So, what gave you the impression that the Corinthian Church (a few group of people meeting at homes) would have a need to speak in a language that everyone present do not understand?

Oh, I get it, you are probably from one of those churches that use interpreters, and you grew up thinking that your local dialect is the tongue Paul was talking about in 1Cor. 14 : 2.

Well dude, sorry to blast your bubble. But, as you narrated, if you had truly experienced the spirit enabled groaning communication that no one could comprehend (not even your own mind), then know that millions of people from around the world, are DAILY experiencing the awesomeness of speaking in (yes) UNKNOWN tongues by the utterance and residue of the anointing that the Holy Ghost supplies.

By the way, there is such a thing as tongues of angels (see one of my comments on this thread grin ). And it is really laughable how you chose to ignore the word "mysteries in the spirit" and "speaks to God" in your funny mental gymnastics. wink

Dude, Paul says that (in personal privacy) he "pray in tongues more than you all" yet, he'd not utter it in a public service unless there's interpretation, so that everyone in the Church would be edified. And so you know, doubting Thomas, there are a lot of ministries where both spiritual tongues and interpretation are given in public services TODAY.

But even at that, Paul says to "test all spirits".

MuttleyLaff:
I am yet to know why people like you always shy, dodge, duck and dive away from answering innocent and harmless questions like those easy peasy lemon squeasy 5 simple questions

Will you please mind your language, because no one, as far as I know, is ranting here, OK?

Nwanne pchukwudi, I don't know about any of your experiences, but let's just put it this way, and must say, I wouldn't wish it on my enemy to be caught in dire straits like that

So, there are two occasions in my life, when I was in dire straits and a right pickle, where whilst in these unpalatable situations, I prayed to God, the prayers got to a point, that I couldn't articulate or put in actual human being language words anymore what I was praying about, that I just slided and resorted to groaning and sighing.

The groans and sighs, came from the innermost deep fibre of my being. It felt like, I was at the end of my tethers, and actually had no more strength to pray, that I just have to resort to sighing at the situation and made groans, literally crying for the help and mercy of God. Recollecting now, is giving me goose pimples. So trust me, I have lived Romans. 8:26. Jesus too, in two or three occassions, went through this experience

"But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,"
- Jude 1:28

Apart from Jude 1:28 reproduced above, verses, like John 3:8 and John 4:24 promptly flashed through my mind when about to respond to you concerning the Romans 8:26 you referenced

You've grossly misunderstood Romans 8:26 nwanne. The Spirit is free, it is like a wind, we dont see it, we cant touch it but we can sense it, we can hear it. It moves, one minute it is quiet and still, next minute, it can be howling and noisily slammimg doors shut another minute too.

God, is a Spirit, we, as spirit beings try to connect with God, so we pray in the spirit, to associate ourselves with what is happening or is about to happen in the Spirit realm, link with what is hapening in the Spirit's world, as in, God's great/grand scheme of things. So when we pray in the spirit, we literally are positioning our "satellite dish or antenna" for good and maximum signal strength to get sharp pictures and/or clear broadcast signals from God, as we pray in tune or in accordance with His "Thy will be done" and not our will

Without tuning in, (i.e. without praying in the spirit) distortions, bad reception, ugly feedbacks, clashing stations etcetera will be the end product, and we end up praying out of tune. Now, here is how Jude 1:20 comes into the fray. Jude 1:20 has nothing to do speaking in tongues but means what it says out of the tin. It means to literally, pray in the Holy Spirit, as in, like, to pray in line with the Spirit, similar to that ''thy will be done and not my will" Jesus' prayer and not to be praying in some uninteligible and inarticulate language

Nwanne pchukwudi, jiggaz and Chi59, do you know what a ''thy will be done and not my will" Jesus' prayer is?

"After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;"
- Revelation 7:9

"9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
"
- Philippians 2:9-11

Nwanne, pchukwudi, my dearest beloved brother, this thing is very cool, simple, straight up and uncomplicated, only that you, jiggaz and Chi59 dont want to adjust your "proper & holistic understanding meter" on this matter of gift of tongues.

1 Corinthians 14:2 is easily understood and needing no explanation because of the greek word "glossa" used in it, which funnily enough, means word, and it is how we have the word, glossary, so pchukwudi, obviously, "glossa" simply means human beings word(s). So tongue(s) in essence means human being language(s). As you can see from Revelation 7:9 and Philippians 2:9-11 above, tongues is closely associated and/or suggestive of being related with human beings and not celestial beings or a heavenly language

So, now going straight on to one of my favourite scripture, which is the 1 Corinthians 14:2 you quoted and brought up, the tongue Paul was talking about in this same 1 Corinthians 14:2, is the language or tongue of human beings. He is talking about the tongue and/or language associated with human beings. This means, the language or tongue Paul was talking about in 1 Corinthians 14:2 is, one in reference to a human being's style or manner of speaking.

Tongue, an organ of speech, is a member of the body of a human being's anatomy, not celestial beings. It also is the language or dialect used by a particular people distinct from that of other people, so again my dear nwanne, that is the kind of language or tongue, what Paul was talking about in 1 Corinthians 14:2

Think about it nwanne, pchukwudi, if I speak in a tongue no one understands, then except God and/or the absence of interpretation, no one will understand me. Even if I do it in private, and then my spirit prays, but my mind has no understanding and clue of what I've said or prayed about.

Another important thing about 1 Corinthians 14:2, is that, "unknown" was never in the original Greek verse. It is a latter addition by translators.

Nwanne pchukwudi, jiggaz and Chi59, you are in a gathering comprising of like minded people with Igbo, Yoruba, Fulani, Hausa, Edo etcetera language speaking backgrounds, who dont speak nor understand each other's languages (i.e. each others Igbo, Yoruba, Fulani, Hausa, Edo language is unknown to the other), the only common language each undersands is English, now when it is time to pray, teach or preach, which language in the absence of interpretation, will you speak, pray, teach or preach in?
What language please?

1 Corinthians 14:2, is telling you that, in the above setting I've mentioned, if you speak languages that others don't know, God will understand what you are saying, though no one else will know what you mean. You will be talking about mysteries that only the Spirit understands. The others will just be guessing all you said

Also why do you want or need to speak to God in a language you do not understand what your mind is saying, I ask again, huh?

Have you, got it? Epiphany yet?

1/ Why and what is the benefit, of speaking in a language you dont understanding what is being said?
2/ Why cant you, why dont you prefer to speak and/or pray in a language, you understand what you've just said?
3/ Dont you want to know, what the content(s) of all and each you are saying, are?
4/ Also where in the bible, had anyone prayed in tongues, whether prayed privately or publicly in tongues?
5/ Why are you trying to defend the indefensible, when there are guidelines in the bible that clearly and without doubt, states not to be speaking in tongues without interpretation, huh Chi59?

Your entire 5 questions are answered by just one verse of Scripture: Rom. 8:26.

Thing, is the language you rant about is the invention of humans for inter-personal communication.

But if you know anything about the human makeup (especially the mind) you'd know that countless impulses that are processed by your brains cannot be articulated in words or human language.

What am I even saying, the fact that you got stuck in the limitations of human language does not mean that clearly articulated speech is the only form of language.

Finally:

1 Corinthians 14:2 - KJV
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

New International Version

For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

I think you are confusing yourself. Did you even bother to read those scriptures? If you did, you'd have seen where it says that no one (not even your own mind) understands you when you pray in certain tongues (without interpretation).

That's definitely a different kind of tongue from the one we saw in Acts chapter 2, because there, folks who were watching actually understood what Peter and his friends where saying. And mind you, each one of those onlookers understood it in his/her own native language. This is like everyone on this forum understanding what I'm writing here in his/her native language even though, to me, I am writing it in English.

The point is not on what you call it (language or tongue), the point is in the ability or not of the speaker (and everyone else) to understand what is being said.

Yes, tongue can also be interpreted as language.

But do you understand all human languages?

How about the language (tongues) of angels?

Can any human being understand or interpret that without revelation?

Or did you not know that there's such a thing as language (tongues) of angels mentioned in the Bible? See 1Co13:1

Now, if you cannot understand all human languages, let alone grasping those of angels, why then do you think it's impossible for God to give you a personal spiritual language (or tongue) for prayers, which no one else but him alone understands? (Romans 8:26)

reformed:

Three different types of tongues? No, not true.
Tongue as used in those passages you quoted simply mean language. You can check newer Bible versions many of them used language instead of tongue. So, tongues mean languages, unknown tongues mean, unknown languages.

The Bible did not teach of three different types of languages either in Acts 2, or in 1 Corinthians 14.
Thank you.
Religion / Re: Praying In Tongues : The Weapon That Builds You Up - Joseph Prince Sermon Notes by pchukwudi: 10:23am On Mar 10, 2019
You are wrong my dear. The New Testament did not begin and end in the book of Acts.

Contrary to your assertion, there are at least 3 different types of tongues that the Bible teaches.

1) Tongues in other known languages that the speaker did not know before. This was typically used as a sign of God's power/approval for the first batch of Christian missionary and evangelical works (Acts 2:1-4).

2) Tongues in unknown languages that may be interpreted by either the speaker or someone else in a congregation, via the inner intuition/witness given/inspired by the Holy Spirit. This is equal to simple words of edification/prophecy. And it should be typically used for public/congregational/church meetings/services. ( 1 Corinthians 14:27)

3) Tongues in unknown utterances/groaning which cannot be understood or interpreted by any human, but which God the Father perfectly understands and uses to edify us and intervene in critical situations of our lives and environment. This should be typically used for personal/private prayers - intercession or supplications, etc. (Corinthians 14:2-4).

So, as you can see, there's much more to learn about this mystery rather than demonizing it. And, by the way, demons are much weaker than the angels of God. And satan has already been forever defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

Truefaith:
JOSEPH PRINCE, LIKE SO MANY OTHER DELUDED PENTECOSTALS AND CHARISMATICS,

ARE SELLING HINDUISM,

CALLING IT CHRISTIANITY.

Open your Bible and read ACTS 2:5-12 and

compare what they call 'TONGUES' with the records in the Bible.

Incantations and chants spoken in witches covens are being dressed up now and called tongues in the 'church'.

If you fear God, you would run from any so-called church where demon-inspired gibberish is called 'tongues'.

The Bible's tongues are LANGUAGES spoken and understood by humans on earth. Any other thing is from the Prince of Darkness.

The OP's analysis and conclusion are irrefutable. Any alternative measures will only amount to a waste of time and resources.

But, truth is, the greed that has kept this oppressive system going will soon run out of energy.

Everyday people will be shouting "one Nigeria!" Yet nobody has ever seen this "one Nigeria", either in practice or deed.

Politics / Re: Why Is Jimi Agbaje Always Playing The Politics Of Tribalism In Lagos? by pchukwudi: 11:25am On Mar 07, 2019
There was no contradiction there. Go and study your history.

Akintola ran an anti-igbo campaign against Awolowo for the position of the Western Premier, just as Tinibu is running an anti-igbo campaign against Agbaje for the position Lagos governor.

We are talking about a regional government here.

The fact that the East and North voted massively for the federal government of the day did not change the fact that the federal government of the day was led by a northerner just like the unitary APC government of today is also led by a northerner.

Belewa, personally imposed Akintola against the wish of both the Yorubas and their Igbo neighbors. That's why (unlike Jimi) Akintola senselessly ran with his igbo demonizing rhetorics. He painted Awolowo as an Igbo domination enabler. I believe he did this because Zik was not in his support.

It was actually the incarceration of Awolowo, the declaration of state of emergency in the Western Region, and the imposition of Akintola that triggered the Nigeria's first attempt on military coup.

But balewas govt was igbo and hausa govt. While Awo was pro Yoruba. How do you reconcile the contradiction?
Politics / Re: Why Is Jimi Agbaje Always Playing The Politics Of Tribalism In Lagos? by pchukwudi: 11:04am On Mar 07, 2019
God bless you. The madness did not start today. The template Tinibu is using today (under the APC govt) against Jimi was actually designed and handed down by the late Akintola.

He (as a puppet of the then Northern led federal government under Belewa) institutionalized anti-igbo rhetorics in the Yoruba land just to oust Awolowo.

But while Akintola succeeded (by crook) in ousting Awolowo in the scheme of leadership, many Yoruba's did not buy his crap. That's exactly the template the Tinubu gang (under APC) is using against Agbaje (and Ndigbo) today. But Tinibu and APC too will fail. Thank God for the honest Yoruba folks like you.

Muscomide:
I'm Yoruba but if there's anyone playing the ethnicity card, it is Tinubu and the Lagos APC. Trying to stoke up Yorubas to see this governorship election as a battle between them and the Igbo is most irresponsible. The APC administration in Lagos under Ambode messed up and should not be rewarded with another four years. The so-called development witnessed in Lagos under Tinubu, Fashola and Ambode is a mirage.

I don't usually bother dignifying slowpokes with a response. But this is an exception, at least for the sake of the reasonable bystander.

1) Your god did not win the last election, by any stretch of imagination. It was stolen on his behalf.

2) In your alternative universe, when the spokesperson of the government covertly calls the entire country to hate one ethnic group (as your hero Femi just did) it is not a hate speech, but calling him out on his hypocritical silliness (as I just did) is what you term hate. Shame on you.

3) When the north gives a block vote to Buhari, you interpret it as love. But when the greater south gives the same block vote to someone else, you interpret it as hate. Hypocrite, is that your own definition of democracy?

4) In a democratic system, inclusiveness is NOT a reward, it's a right. Everyone has the right to vote whoever he or she pleases. But whoever succeeds in leading a democratic government makes it inclusive for everyone. Inclusiveness is the minimum viable yardstick for measuring democratic leadership. Thus, your winner takes it all mindset is a cave man mentality. Unfortunately, that seems to be who you are, judging by the crap you posted below.

You know what, l still remember EVERYTHING you said about Buhari and how he will lose this Presidential election come february 2019.

I was expecting some SELF EXAMINATION and REFLECTION from People like you.
But let me quote Femi Adeshina to summarize people like you:

For how long are you going to keep poisoning yourselves?
You cant be "inclusive/included" with this mindset.

What a typical, baseless rant of a failed mouthpiece. Are you even aware that the "millions of Nigerians" you allude to (as supporting/reelecting you) are less than 8% of the population. That's a huge question mark on your legitimacy and commitment to nation building.

Even with your wholesome riggings, institutional corruption, gross voter intimidation and suppression, your party got less than 25% of vote from the South East as a zone. But you won't tell your gullible followers anything about that fact.

Rather than dealing with the glaring issues raised by Mr. Mike Ozekhome, all you could come up with as a spokesman (after 7 whole days of searching for nonexistent alibi) was this dumb diversionary personal attacks on the learned gentleman.

Shame!

Where were you when your principal used his infamous 97% vs 5% narrative to justify his very deliberately planned noninclusive style of governance against Ndigbo?

Where were you when your principal used his warped sense of "merit" to justify his lopsided, nepotistic, deliberate and total exclusion of Ndigbo from the security apparatus of the country?

Mr. spokesman, are you aware that Nigeria is being tagged as going the way of Venezuela currently?

You should be telling us what's your principal's take on that, rather than this childish rant against the truth.

And, talking about Venezuela vs Nigeria and your falsehoods about the economy, here's a nice food for thought:

You guys are so shamelessly dishonest.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION, VENEZUELA DID NOT FAIL BECAUSE OF LOW OIL PRICE, VENEZUELA FAILED BECAUSE OF ITS SOCIALIST AND ANTI MARKET POLICIES. And if you have been paying any attention, you'd know that APC is simply an assembly of the opportunistic socialist hypocrites. Their aim is to convert this nation into a giant socialist machine, where they and their cliques will be living off the rest of the intentionally pauperized masses

Back to the gist:

The oil price has long rebounded and is now higher than what it was in 2014/2015

The fuel pump price has nearly doubled (since 2017) compared to what it was in 2014.

Nigeria's oil output has remained very stable since the last 3 years.

Yet, in spite of these positive factors, Buhari and APC have constantly failed to return the GDP back to where it was when they took over in 2015.

If truly Buhari and his APC gang are fighting corruption, blocking loopholes and managing the economy well, the least they could do was to stabilize the decline of the GDP.

But nope.

Not only did Buhari and APC drive the economy into its first recession in over 25years, they have also nearly wiped out the middle class and drove the multitudes of investors away in droves.

Mind you, unlike the clueless APC, when PDP took over in 1999, oil was about $18 per barrel (much less than what APC got since 2015). On top of that, the county was terribly indebted and isolated due to its years of military abuse. Yet, the PDP did not blame anyone.

Instead, they went straight to work, assembled a team of seasoned Nigerian technocrats from around the world, fought corruption, grew the economy, brought back multitudes of investors - without going into recession once.

PDP did all that from 1999 with just a fraction of what APC has been getting from oil since 2015.

Yet, you ignoble goons won't quit spewing falsehoods and crappy silliness in support of an obviously failed régime with an APC tag.
