The election was rigged. Opposition voters were suppressed. And their votes were brazenly wiped out in many cases.

But even if that's not the case, your so called victory was enabled by less than 8% of the population. How's that credible, when 92% of the population did not give you their mandate?

In a sane country, that election would have been canceled.

samstradam:
The hate and bile being spilled by these so called new age democrats from PDP is becoming nauseating.

How can any sane human being prepare for a fight for 4 years and not imagine the possibilty of losing?

They should allow the vast majority of the 200 million sensible people in Nigeria have peace.

You guys are so shamelessly dishonest.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION, VENEZUELA DID NOT FAIL BECAUSE OF LOW OIL PRICE, VENEZUELA FAILED BECAUSE OF ITS SOCIALIST AND ANTI MARKET POLICIES. And if you have been paying any attention, you'd know that APC is simply an assembly of the opportunistic socialist hypocrites. Their aim is to convert this nation into a giant socialist machine, where they and their cliques will be living off the rest of the intentionally pauperized masses

Back to the gist:

The oil price has long rebounded and is now higher than what it was in 2014/2015

The fuel pump price has nearly doubled (since 2017) compared to what it was in 2014.

Nigeria's oil output has remained very stable since the last 3 years.

Yet, in spite of these positive factors, Buhari and APC have constantly failed to return the GDP back to where it was when they took over in 2015.

If truly Buhari and his APC gang are fighting corruption, blocking loopholes and managing the economy well, the least they could do was to stabilize the decline of the GDP.

But nope.

Not only did Buhari and APC drive the economy into its first recession in over 25years, they have also nearly wiped out the middle class and drove the multitudes of investors away in droves.

Mind you, unlike the clueless APC, when PDP took over in 1999, oil was about $18 per barrel (much less than what APC got since 2015). On top of that, the county was terribly indebted and isolated due to its years of military abuse. Yet, the PDP did not blame anyone.

Instead, they went straight to work, assembled a team of seasoned Nigerian technocrats from around the world, fought corruption, grew the economy, brought back multitudes of investors - without going into recession once.

PDP did all that from 1999 with just a fraction of what APC has been getting from oil since 2015.

Yet, you ignoble goons won't quit spewing falsehoods and crappy silliness in support of an obviously failed régime with an APC tag.

festacman:
...The fact is that if Buhari did not take over in 2015, Nigeria would have been like Venezuela today. But his conservatory tough decisions stemmed the slide moving Nigeria in and out of inevitable recession. He insisted on taking advantage of our other areas of comparative advantage through diversification and local production.

So I believe Buhari's 2nd term can only lift Nigeria forward to significant real economic growth. The worst is over.

Despite the nonstop 3-year long coordinated attacks and witch hunting driven by the global Fake News/mainstream media, the US establishment and the DNC against the person of Trump, his rigged rating presently is actually higher than what Obama had at this same point in his presidency.

In fact, among the conservatives Trump's approval rating is over 80%. And, according to the liberal leaning CNBC, Trump's (42% - 48%) rating across board, "is in line with that of Clinton, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama at similar points in their presidencies. And ALL OF THOSE PRESIDENTS WERE REELECTED".

Originalsly:

Trump is popular? What is his popularity rating?...quote that and compare it with that of Obama or Bush at the same point. His well attended rallies are in select racist areas in the country. He belongs to New York.... and can't even be present in NY let alone hold a rally..... too much protest and traffic jams. Many of the people who voted for him did so because of his coded racist campaign. Racists will always support him regardless of what he does....many other supporters have been affected economically by his policies....money is everything to them...they will not vote for him. How many in his own party...whom he selected has jumped ship?...record number...and you are here talking about how popular he is. His trade war with China has affected his voters...be imposed tariffs on certain imports from China....China retaliated by imposing tariffs on products coming out of areas of his core supporters. They are now suffering. He is popular neither at home nor abroad. If you know how a US President is elected..... you should know that it is not by who get the most votes cast by the citizens..... called the popular votes.... Hillary won that. He is wayy more unpopular now than when he was elected.

Bernie Sanders cannot win the DNC presidential primaries let alone winning the presidency.

Seems you are not getting it, right? The US WILL NEVER BECOME A SOCIALIST STATE.

He may keep scamming his band of thoughtless Millennials for the time being (until the Gen Z come to age). But he will never, ever smell the white house - not even in 2024 or 2028.

Joe Biden will trash him in the DNC primaries. And, running as in an independent, means he's clueless and just out to scam the gullible of of their tiny allowances from mommy again. grin

Bernie Sanders, US president in waiting - Mr Rights

https://mrrightsng..com/2019/03/bernie-sanders-us-president-in-waiting.html?m=1

Most popular US senator, Bernie Sanders has announced is entrance into the 2020 US presidential race.

Two days ago, the runner up to Hilary Clinton in the race to 2016 democratic nomination launched is 2020 campaign at Brooklyn with over 1 million volunteers across the country.

People ordinarily wouldn’t vote for any unknown third party. This is the same all over the world. Voting for an unknown third party will be extremely hard, especially a third party, whose campaign they are not seeing on TV and Radio almost all the time.

But you can still break the jinx, says Bernie Sanders, a strong U.S presidential candidate in the 2016 general election, now the major candidate in the race for 2020.

Before venturing into politics, many thought it was impossible for a third party candidate to win election in U.S.

To a lot of people, only Democrats and Republican are destined to win, but Bernie disagreed. He believed that, if Democrats and Republican can do it, others can do it too.

In 1971, Bernie Sanders contested for U.S Senate election as an independent candidate and lost. He didn’t only lose that election; he
got just 2% of the total vote cast. But he said to himself, this isn’t bad. I will try again.

In 1972, he ran for Governor. This time, he didn’t only lose; his votes went down to 1% of the total vote cast. He was not discouraged still. He said to himself once again, this isn’t bad, I will try again.

In 1973, he ran again for Senate and lost. This time, he got 4% of the total vote cast. In 1975, he ran again for governor and still lost. He got 6% of the total vote cast.

In 4 years, he ran 4 times and lost in all 4 attempts. After the 4th attempt, he retired from politics for 5 years.

But in 1981, 5 years later, some people from his state came to him to run for city mayor. It’s more like a Local Government Chairman
Election in Nigeria. He was reluctant at first due to his 4 previous failures, especially after running for Governor and senate, but he oblige.

Bernie Sanders ran this time again for Mayor as an independent candidate and surprisingly, he won the election by just 14 votes. It was unbelievable; an independent candidate defeated the almighty Democrat and Republican Party.

But this was a democratic strong hold nobody thought an unknown candidate could win. So, while Bernie and his supporters were celebrating the victory, the Democrat runner up could not believe this unknown independent could win, he challenged the election result. He believed there must have been an error somewhere.

The votes had to be recounted and after the vote recount, Bernie still won, but
this time with less than 10 votes.

Although, he has won and scaled through the first hurdle, he has to work with the elected democrat city council official.

This means that, he can’t hire his own staff. As a matter of fact, the personal secretary
he hired was sacked by the city council officials. Those democrats didn’t allow him govern with his own ideas. This went on for about a year, until in 1982 when another city council election took place.

Bernie urged many new guys to run for City Council election and they did.

He campaigned for them and among these guys, 6 won. These 6 winners gave him the required veto power to get his ideas running.

After taking charge fully with his own like minded team, he embarked on several pro masses reforms and he got re-elected after 2 years in 1983. He ran again in 1985 and still won.

Faced with opportunity to move up in the political ladder, Bernie ran again for governor in 1986, but he lost the governorship election.
This time, he got 14% of the total vote cast.

2 years later in 1988, he ran for Congress seat and lost. He was the runner up with 31% vote, trailing the winner who got 34%. He was
determined to run again. He said to himself, if as an independent candidate, I can have 31% of the votes, definitely, I can get even more. So in 1988, he ran again for U.S Congress and this time, he won with a very wide margin. He got more than 50% of the total vote and ever
since, he has been running and winning.

Today, Bernie is the longest serving Congress man in the history of U.S.

In 2016, for the first time in history, he joined the Democratic Party to run for U.S presidential election.

He was rigged out by the establishment, but despite losing due to rigging, he has remained consistent with is nationwide advocacy for the issues affecting the ordinary people. Today, he his the most popular politician in U.S, even more popular than the President in terms of favourable rating.

After losing the Presidential election, he created a massive peoples organization called the Our Revolution, a nationwide organization that is forcing those in authority to listen to the people. Most of his ideas have gained nationwide acceptability and this is going to define the race for 2020.

The organisation, Our Revolution is articulating the issues and proffering solutions. Through his position at the Congress, Bernie is sponsoring bills to advance the
cause of the people and mobilizing them to hold their representative accountable to ensure those bills scale through.

Today, Bernie is 76years old, but he his running to win the US Presidency in 2020.

As i have consistently said in the past, if he runs again in 2020, he will become the next President of United States of America and now that he's running, he is like a president in waiting.

The point here is that, it doesn’t necessarily have to be one of the two major parties. Young people must be courageous enough to go under smaller parties.

A small party of yesterday may eventually become the big party and the unknown candidate of yesterday may become the most
popular candidate today.

It also doesn’t necessarily have to be about age. An old competent and dedicated person maybe more useful than a young thoughtless
person. Age is not a reason to throw competence and capacity to
deliver to the gutter.

Politics is the only realistic means to good
governance in a democracy. If you elect a fool to be your representative, you will be forced to live by the laws he make. If you elect a looter, you will live by the consequence of his looting.

And provided the wrong people remain in government, the status quo will always remain.

By Odoh Michael

In 2003 when President Muhammadu Buhari first ran for the office of President and lost, he went to court to challenge the result of the election because he felt he was cheated out and his mandate stolen and he did same in 2007 and 2011, he never called to congratulate his opponents in these elections. Adams Oshiomole, Rotimi Ameachi and Rauf Aregbeshola, stalwarts of the ruling party also challenged their various governorship elections and won at the supreme court.

The electoral act that gave room for candidates to go to court and challenge their election results did that to checkmate the rigging of elections. Destiny may be delayed but it cannot be denied and this to me is the reason for the tribunal. I was shocked when I read Dele Momodu’s tweet asking Atiku Abubakar to call President Muhammadu Buhari and congratulate him. The worse one was when I saw same from a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olisa Abgakoba.

Goodluck Jonathan’s decision to call his opponent in 2015 was because he felt that the election, he conducted was free and fair but that is not the same with 2019. Atiku’s decision to go to court is a victory for democracy. The court is there to settle issues between parties, it is legal so Atiku’s decision to go to the court is in line with the law. The benefit of this is simple, if Atiku emerges victorious in court, Nigeria’s democracy will become reborn. No leader will have the mind to sit back, do nothing and when the people decides to vote him out, he/she rigs the election in their favour because they will know that they will have their day in court and be disgraced out of office. If Atiku sits back and do nothing, two things will happen which will be bad for our democracy, Nigerians will no longer have the zeal to go and vote because they would have lost faith in the electoral system and secondly, it will give room for massive rigging and manipulation of election results and nothing will happen to the perpetrators.

The former Vice President has not declared himself president-elect, neither has he asked his supporters to go against the law so it beats my imagination why people who claim to defenders of democracy will be against an idea that will strengthen our democracy and give power back to the people. If Atiku refuses to go to court, it means he will fail the millions of Nigerians who came out to vote him and who believe that he won the elections. The decision will also affect our democracy negatively as stated above. My advice to Dele Momodu and Olisa Agbakoba, SAN is simple, Atiku is not going against the law, he is exercising his right as enshrined in our electoral act, Buhari has done it 3 times in past, let Atiku be. If the APC feels they won the election free and fair, they will have their day in court to defend the victory but let it be known, that Nigerians will no longer sit back under a false peace agreement that will look the other way when our mandate is stolen and expect us to do nothing but remain silent like a lamb that is being led to the slaughter house. Just like I said earlier, if Atiku does nothing, our democracy will die because it will give room for what we saw on the 19th of February 2019. People must be held accountable for their actions. He who has nothing to hide goes to equity with clean hands.

Atiku is a true democrat who has continued to fight for democracy and 2019 should not be different. Let both parties meet in court, it will only strengthen our democracy. No matter the outcome, the Nigerian people and our democracy will emerge victorious because Nigerians will now know that, the court is there for us and we have a right to use it whenever we feel cheated.

The Judiciary is the best part of democracy and today, Nigeria’s democracy lies before our judiciary, it is up to them to either save it and be on the right side of history or destroy it permanently. Time will tell.

Politics / Re: Igbos In Lagos -read Attentively! by pchukwudi: 9:06am On Mar 02, 2019
Outside Lagos, there is no other state in Nigeria that has more rural development than the South East states - NONE.

Many rural South East villages are more developed than some urban areas in your state. FACT.

Over 60% of the manufacturing sector in Nigeria - including those in your state - are controlled by foreigners from Asia and Europe. That does not mean that Nigeria (or your home state) is better developed than any of their home countries in Europe and Asia.

Igbo's are known for trading. Thus Onitsha is known as the largest market in West Africa. And the vast Majority of Nigeria's imported consignments unload in Onitsha and are, in turn, exported to other countries in the West and Central Africa.

Igbo's are known as industrialists. Thus the vast segment of Nigeria's indigenous manufacturing sector is either domiciled in the South East or founded by folks from that region.

In the same vein, even before the Nigerian independence, Igbo's were known to be the most migrant oriented ethnic group in the country. They were also arguably the most advanced in civil service and education; as well as the largest ethnic group in (and Enugu was the capital of) the old Eastern Region (comprising most of the present day south south, a little part of the present day north central, and all of the present day south east ). Yet that did not stop their migrant nature. So their migration has little to do with lack of opportunities, but more to do with fearlessness that emanates from their culture of friendliness to strangers.

The reason you people find it so hard to migrate is simply because you treat migrants with disdain. So you are afraid of being treated the same way you treat others. Your being stuck in your region is not because you have more opportunities. In fact, as shown by the Asians Europeans, and Igbo's who control the trade and industry in Nigeria, many of those so called migrants actually have more alternative economic opportunities than your average so called host can imagine.

For starters, they have talent, skill and capacity to create wealth. Take everything from them (as you once did, but I advice you not to try again), put them in a desert (but you better not), and they will still create wealth and opportunities for themselves, because, just like peak milk, it's in them.

Rolings:

Ibos are not found all over the world because they are hospitable but because there is actually nothing for the average iboman in iboland. NOTHING..... that's why you see them scattered all over the world and they feel more comfortable outside their region than in it, the only tribe that develop other region (developers) rather than develop their own homeland........ The problem of ibos is first themselves then themselves, they are their own biggest enemy. You gave pmb 5% vote in 2015 yet expect him to give you all the juicy positions NEVER ...... You wailed for 4 years, and will wail for the next 4years
Politics / Re: Igbos In Lagos -read Attentively! by pchukwudi: 8:05pm On Mar 01, 2019
The east is actually one of the most densely populated regions in this country. Igbo's are in fact one of the most hospitable ethnic groups in the country.

This is why the average igbo person can migrate freely to any part of the WORLD (not just Lagos), establish himself and still stay in touch with his/her homeland.

But hopeless bigots like you are unaware of the amazing Igbo traits and their stranger-friendly cultures largely because you hardly leave your enclave. To you, life begins and ends in your state.

WORDWORLD:
THE SIMPLE FACT IS THIS. THE KIND OF HOSPITALITY THE IGBOS ENJOY ALL OVER NIGERIA. SUCH HOSPITALITY IS NOT RECIPROCATED IN IGBO LANDS TO OTHER TRIBES LIVING IN IGBO LAND, THE MOST IRONY IS THIS, NOT EVEN TO FELLOW IGBOS IN THEIR OWN HOMES ARE HOSPITABLE TO EACH OTHER WHICH IS A MAJOR REASON THE IGBO MAN IS SCATTERD EVERY WHERE ABANDONING HIS OWN HOME BECAUSE IT IS NOT HOSPITABLE EVEN TO HIMSELF.

IS IT NOT AMAZING HOW THE HAUSA'S IN LAGOS TRAVEL BACK HOME DURING ELECTIONS TO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN WHILE THE IGBOS STAY PUT TO MAKE TROUBLE?!

This right there is a silly and nonsensical propaganda.

Bianca is a member of "Ojukwu's family". So are her kids. " Ojukwu's family also included one of Ojukwu's sons who left APGA and joined APC.

So, giving a few disgruntled and faceless political jobbers the "Ojujwu family" tag to score a cheap and bigoted political point changes nothing.

Bianca, still contested in the primaries. The leadership of APGA did not deny her the right to participate. And if she had wanted she would have gone ahead to contest in the final elections via another platform - just like Ifeanyi Uba did - no one would have stopped her. In fact, many sons of the state wished the APGA leadership could quash the primaries and give Bianca the sole ticket for Anambra South.

After all said and done, she chose to stick to APGA - which is her late husband's legacy. She would have left the party if the party leadership did not see her as an insider.

raumdeuter:

Indications that Mrs. Ojukwu would not find things easy fulfilling her ambition emerged soon after she showed interest in the senatorial seat, when members of the Ojukwu family held a press conference in Abuja, saying they were opposed to her becoming a senator for Anambra State. Their main reason was because she hailed from Enugu State and that it was improper for her to occupy a position meant for someone from Anambra South.

Generally, Igbo's are actually one of the most stranger-friendly tribes in Nigeria. This is actually one of the major root causes of our wide diaspora living inclination. We are very friendly to strangers in our cultures and homeland that's why we find it so easy to travel to very remote and strange lands and dwell there so fearlessly often to the bewilderment of all the other tribes in this country.

The bolded is actually why I said that you are sounding very ridiculous.

First, you have zero evidence to support what you are saying. So, rather than throwing up silly and false assertions, how about citing a credible news report to validate your claim?

Second, who controls/regulates elections and the activities of political parties in Nigeria? The answer is: INEC.

Thus, as long as you have your party's ticket to contest in an elective position anywhere in the East, no indigenous person or group can stop you from contesting. They simply do not have a say in it.

For example, ADC do not have any presence in the East currently (but it has a significant presence in the South West). As a Yoruba man living in Awka all you need to do is to convince the party that's predominant in your homeland (like ADC) to give you their ticket to run for a position in your state of residence. Then, your proven sense of commitment, connectedness, and popularity in your local community of residence will guarantee your win.

How many of your people have thought of doing that?

Third, how many Igbo's have contested for elective positions in Lagos (or anywhere in the South West) under AD, ACN, or APC? Can you name just one?

Fourthly, I know a Yoruba man who runs a big and highly successful printing press in Onitsha (right inside the famous Main Market axis). Dude served in Onitsha during NYSC and refused to go back to the South West. He's fully established there now with his own residential house and a business. A CEO of a multimillion printing organization.

Mayor08:

You made mention of incidence years back when it were mere appointment? Are you talking about the east where an Enugu person isn't allowed to contest in IMO, or an ebonyi man is been sent back from anambra?
You clearly aren't facing reality here, you guys are the bigots, I've seen more than one scenario where lands aren't been sold to non-indigenes...if someone from another state in the east isn't allowed to contest an election what will the be the fate of one from the west

Politics / Re: Unity In Disunity, Clarion Call To Easterners by pchukwudi: 1:27pm On Feb 28, 2019
You sound so ridiculous.

You cannot be clamoring for One Indivisible Nigeria, and still restrict some Nigerians from participating in the political/electoral process any where in Nigeria.

You are free to contest election anywhere in the east. No one will stop you, no one had ever stopped anyone from doing so. History has it that the first Mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man. That was BEFORE you were born.

But how do your people plan to contest and win elections in the East when most of you are too bigoted to go and live there?

As long as you insist on One Nigeria, Igbos (just like all other tribes) in Lagos have every right to be voted for, as well as vote for anyone they like.

If you don't like it, then start a call for disintegration.

Mayor08:
I use this medium to plead to both parties to let peace reign...I am not saying this to pacify or gather likes, I am in support of my kinsmen in stopping the easterners from contesting, but never in a violent way...we need to criticize both parties in other not to be partial...we Yoruba's need to rise, we can't be taken for fools...we might be accommodating but we shouldn't be taken for granted

Politics / Re: Atiku Has Only Himself To Blame! by pchukwudi: 5:54pm On Feb 26, 2019
Do you have any data to back this up?

From the data I've seen so far:

Anambra was 92% PDP (8% APC)

Enugu was 87% PDP (13% APC)

South East in General was about 81% PDP

The 19% APC got (mostly from Abia, Ebonyi and Imo) was as a result of grassroot politicians like Umahi, Orji Kalu, Okorocha and co (plus the arewa population in those areas).

The major thing about this election in the south east is the official vote destruction. The actual turnout was WAY HIGHER than what is being reported by inec. #FACT.

You don't know what you are talking about. Orthom left APC primarily because of the presidency's stance on Benue's anti grazing law.

From the president himself, to COAS, to minister of interior to the former IG, they all ridiculed and resisted the singing of the anti grazing law. It was largely APC's lack of cooperation that made Orthom to leave.

In fact, it was so bad that the Benue state APC (in solidarity with Orthom and his stance on the incessant killings) had a major face off with the national leadership of APC. All these were before Orthom left the party.

You could sum up here anger and vexation by responding to this

Would you dine on the same table with your killer

Would you be happy seen if your mum or dad and relatives were killed by your own president

Lioness, below is your hateful venom against Buhari at about a year ago. What has changed?

Did you hate Buhari that much simply because you disliked Osinbajo with passion?

I am asking this question because of the silly and hypocritical thread you created earlier on to pitch the Igbo's against the Yoruba's.

Your hypocrisy will always catch up with you.

lionness:
The following are reasons I'd outline to show this terrible bastard hates the Youths of this country. Yes I call my president a bastard and may Thunder fire whoever has issue with that. I will outline 5 acts that shows this man is an enemy of every single Nigerian Youth and why every single one of us has to get our PVC and shame this donkey and his lazy useless sons and daughters out of Aso Rock come 2019

1. Total disregard to the cries of the Youths while SARS officials kill and extort them on daily basis. Any government with a bit of human face would have long tackle such issues and ban such evil and dangerous cult like Body that takes so much joy in the wanton waste of its Youths lives. But it's glaring, this cow brained president doesn't give a fork

2. The Presidency total destruction of Youwin a technical platform that has empowered hundreds of youths within the country is another glaring reason that this regime and the fool running it has dark and disturbing hatred for the Youths

3. Little or Zero Impactful budget to the Ministry of Education. As we can see, it's so glaring that werey if given the chance would even totally scrap education since his regime has done absolutely nothing for the Educational. His almajiri feeding scheme is the most disturbing and most degrading project ever done anywhere in the world as children are been fed spoilt beans and fungus covered bread. Ask any school been fed this trash and you get your answers

4. Total disregard to the death of children and the and Youths in Benue and Taraba on daily basis while this pig brain quickly rushed his wounded son to the best hospital in both Nigeria and Germany. What a pathetic excuse for a lame leader

5. And who can mention one single program this monkey initiated that would solely benefit the Youths. Has the FG even for once under this cow appreciated any successful youth in this country since its inception? Do we have any single youth minister or representative this old gizzard cabinet? None!

Sad to say, I am using the same passion I once used to campaigned for this lizard to attack him, an act I will definitely continue to do so. Buhari is dead to Nigerian Youths

For staters, John Okafor was born in Kaduna to Tiv mother and Igbo father, but he was mirw Hausa than Igbo.

In any case, how about Adewale Ademoyega and Kaduna Nzeogwu? Those ones do not fit your narrative, even though they were the main brains behind the coup, right?

Okay, are you saying that the coup plotters were not original Igbo's?

Stick to one side and stop jumping up and down. grin

Hatred is blocking you from seeing the point being made.

Nigeria does not end in your region.

If you think you are as Nigerian (or more so) as the Igbo's, then tell us how many of your people that move to other regions to settle down, invest, and build houses. No other ethnic group do that like Igbo's. Yet, you lots keep hipping your baseless hostilities on the igbos.

Tell me, how many people from your ethnic group are based in the North East, North West, North Central, South South and South East or even outside your state in the South West.

The point is that, after the indigenous community in any region, Igbo's constitute the second largest group. But the same thing cannot be said of any other ethnic group in Nigeria. Your one Nigeria mantra ends only in your mouth. No actions or hard investments to back it up.

The Igbo's are the primary group that have kept putting their money and energy where their one Nigeria-mouth is. And they have been doing it since independence. Not even the ills of the uncivil war could change their practical sense of patriotism.

Shame on you demons.

Bro, me sef see that thread. Yorubas should not vote for Atiku ooo. Especially when that Yoruba hater is his vice.
How can people who cursed and insulted Nigeria be more Nigerians?

How can people that want to split from Nigeria be more Nigerians than other people that want Nigeria to progress?

That does not answer my question.

You cannot insist that it's an Igbo coup and at the same time say that there are no Igbo in the south south.

You need to stick to one.

Here's the logic.

1)

- if there are no Igbo's in the south south.

- And the coup plotters were from the south south.

- Then the coup plotters were not Igbo's.

OR

2)

- If the coup plotters were Igbo's

- And the coup plotters were from south south.

- Then Igbo's are indigenous to south south.

CHOOSE ONE.

Pa Chukwudi, it isn't for me to decide for anybody who they want to be. I've just narrated what I know to be history. I'm sure Itshekiris, Ijaws, Urhobos and other great tribes in the South can speak for themselves.

Do you now agree that the south south are Igbos?

Because the last time I checked, 99% of those who led the coup were from the Midwest (south south) and West. Whereas, most of the military officers who foiled the coup AND PREVENTED IT FROM SUCCEEDING were from the East (south east).

So what are you saying? Or do you agree to the Igboness of the south south when it affords you the chance to demonize the Igbo's falsely?

5thElement:

Was that the lie you were told?

If the officers who planned the coup weren't tribalistic in nature how come they killed federal ministers and top politicians from every other tribe except Igbo.

They murdered Akintola in the west, Okotie Eboh in the South, Tarawa Balewa in the North and even killed the spiritual head, the Sardauna and dragged his body on the bare ground in the full glare of his people.

The Igbos in the North were foolishly rejoicing out in the open.

And that was what led to the pogrom in the North that saw a lot of Igbo killed.

I guess you didn't hear that version.
