Happy birthday to the loyal juve player. Here's wishing him what he wishes himself. |
wormedup:Thanks man, the quoted config just worked for me, I guess I'm one of the lucky subscribers. FOD |
Drogba seems to be winning on Nairaland. Please u could suggest persons outside the nominees on this thread. tnx
|
@ Jackal U dint consider all these before u started fumbling about a 6-0 win that wouldnt have even been possible, ? |
I think Drogba will bag it. He's had a 'terrific' performance this year. Moreover, he's not a Nigerian ![]() |
Jackal:Jackal, How come the 6 goals didn't come? Maybe you guys forgot there's no second leg. |
Defending champions and Premiership leaders are out of the League Cup. I guess you can now focus on other big things. |
The CAF African footballer of the year seems debatable following the injury of Samuel and his helpless eviction from the world cup. Kanu and Drogba had good runs at the Cup of nations, Essien's been terrific in Chelsea, he did relatively well in the world cup and nation's cup, and so also did Drogba. Guys, wetin una think? Who's your pick for the year 2006? |
@ debosky Well, not all who leave Arsenal perform badly whereever dey land. For your info, Edu had injury streak in arsenal and was inflicted with the same jinx when he arrived at Valencia. he's happy now, playing every match. Giovanni is equally doing well in Barca (not as much as he did in Arsenal). Vieira isnt that bad though, except for his proliferating red card award. |
yeah
|
@ Vieira Never said Fabregas was the worst player. i only highlighted how his lag affected the team. There was only one of fabregas in that team (as we've always known him to do), but they were two of henry's kind. Persie could score goals too. henry was not a disgrace! |
@ tosin Well to me, it's not unbelievable. 'smaller clubs' rarely see us as a treat these days. Imagine this! we were unable to beat the same hammers last season when they got promoted. they won in highbury and we had a barren draw with them at Upton Park. Now, we fostered their confidence by losing to them again. We need to build up our game beyond entertainment (there was not even an iota of entertainment 2day), so as to regain the seemingly lost respect amidst other premiership clubs. |
4 matches (CSKA twice, Everton, Hammers) without a win this's psychologically discouraging . I hope we win at home against Liverpool. Anyway sha, na two of us dey unreliable. ![]() |
twas really a horrific match 4 us. I perceive that sense fabrepass needs a substitute. The boy seems tired. His ostensible fatigue as a point man was a real demerit to the whole team 2day. Abeg, somebody shld please accelerate Vassiriki Diaby's comeback ![]() |

Damy:crazy fans! Sorry, fanatics |
@ tosin: tnx for that, had exactly that in mind to tell this guy. he's indeed a phenomenal midfielder. But u neednt have waited till wednesday's match b4 u got a seemingly convincing proof that he's the best in d world. Make una dey post rational/logical/construable thread for here. |
It was a superb but unintended goal - a fluke. |
What a match! It was more like a rugby match. Mourinho has been right proved right once again; eleven against eleven, barca have failed to beat chelski. Chelski fans, congrats! |
At F-fresh B I hope you read the note expounding the topic b4 u reacted. Pls be slow to denigrate, be logical. |
