The defending on that Portuguese set-piece goal was atrocious. I will never know why 3 of our players went for the ball in the same direction, leaving the Portuguese player completely free |

drDoom3: Our players lack fundamental football sense. Its appalling. We are more athletic, more pace, more everything. But when you don't have football sense, all those other stuff are useless. Sad, but true. The midfielders had like 3-4 opportunities to play a through-pass to Oshoala, but they instead dallied unnecessarily on the ball. Smh |

budaatum: Ibime, please see an enlightened mature response to that you would rather insult and imagine how it would feel if the same audit finds nothing to see there as you likely believe it would. Can you not imagine how much fun it would be saying "egg on your qanon face"!
I tell you that I personally think its worth waiting till August, though considering the drumptf second term inauguration, it would probably shift to September then November then December and likely every month in 2022, but it would still be worth waiting for as one would have the opportunity to learn the valuable skill of patience. |

BlueAngel444: If Chelsea signs Haaland they will be getting a top class striker, fully rested and no injuries or fatigue from Euros, fresh and pre season ready to deliver True. That reminds us of how the 2022-2023 season would be compressed due to holding the World Cup in Nov/Dec. The various domestic leagues would have to reach the half way point of their seasons around the first week of November or last week of October in that year. |

AkinDS: The flights from Europe get here in Houston from 4:00pm local time. As I write this reply its 2 pm local time. They are not in Houston yet, unless they came in last night. Ok. So that further buttresses my point that it will be highly unlikely for Waldrum to field both players tomorrow, even if they both flew business class. |

As Oshoala and Ebi only arrived Houston today, they definitely won’t feature in tomorrow’s game vs Portugal. It’s best to let them recover from jet lag and field them on Wednesday |

Schemerkhiz: Not Possible we still have Ohale till date and Ebi might play till the next World Cup but the Possible pair at the back would be Onyinyechi Zogg 24yrs of Zurich FC Switzerland and Ashleigh Plumptre 23yrs of Leicester City, England...
Okeke should be talking of how to keep her spot at the right side... Yea The center back pairing could also be Plumptree/Zogg and Ohale at the next Nations and world cups. I wouldn’t risk fielding a 40 yr old center back at the World Cup against some of the fastest and skillful attackers in the world. As we have seen with Chikwelu, who knows whether Ebi’s pace would slowed down by next year or the year after. |

The Okoronkwo lady was a real livewire in the second half as her touches and runs troubled the Jamaican defense. But for some poor decision-making on the part of Ajibade, the team may have grabbed an equalizer |
