The SF definitely need to pass the ball a bit quicker. A lot of times during the 1st half, when not under any sort of pressure, it took 2 secs for a player to make a pass to an unmarked player |

Half time Nigeria 0-0 Uzbekistan
That was one of the most one-sided halves of football that I’ve ever watched! The SF must have had no less than 80% of the ball possession and 7 corner kicks in that first half |

It’s frankly unthinkable that they have missed the last THREE Olympic Games (including this year’s edition) |

Thursday’s match will be the first match in 16 months for the team. The Super Falcons were last in action in October 2019 - the ill fated Olympic qualifier vs Cote D’ Ivoire in Lagos that ended in a 1-1 draw. |

johntolu: You can never say never in Nigeria politics. I believe Rotimi Amaechi will be a better alternative to Gooluck Jonathan. His candidature would be use to kill two birds with one stone; He candidature will represent both South East and South South interest. I agree. Amaechi’s candidacy will simultaneously assuage elements in the SS who were pained that Jonathan only served one full term, and placate the SE for their decades-long quest to produce the president. |

This Man utd wey you dey watch convince you? Yeah. Man Utd can be Jekyll and Hyde, but with Bruno in their team and the penalties he wins they will surely maintain their top 4 spot. |

I think the top three is settled: City, Utd, and Leicester.. I don’t see any of those teams dropping out of the top Four.
What’s largely unknown is the team that will clinch the 4th spot. CFC, WestHam, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Everton are very much still in the hunt.
In fact, it’s almost unthinkable that the defending league champions could miss out on the UCL!! |
