totally off topic but I want to ask a few questions about steel doors
- can you fix a 4 inch frame door on a 9 inch block? - frame not adjustable
- why do most doors when fixed (metal/steel doors) do not open full 180 degrees, most open 90-120 degrees at most; this makes it ackward for doors in-between two walls while only convenient for junction walls.
- which is better for internal use - the shiny faced steel doors or the rough faced steel doors?
- why do most steel doors have lock/handle challenges?

I don't think it'll cost a fortune to have an imprint of "MADE IN SPAIN" on every floor tile meant for the Nigerian market.

I equally have that observation.
However I believe there will be other indicators like packaging, name of maker, production codes, etc.
Hopefully, our teacher will give us more signs to differentiate in the market.

@peaceland,let the question float in more,I like question,someone can't diff" the 2 sample easily on pics but when you see it with your 2 eyes you will know the diff
(1)The white colour of the genuine one is brighter and shining
(2) The finishing tourch of the genuine type is very neat and well firebake and looks stronger

there used to be smaller sized tywford basins which are not on pedestals but coupled to walls. are they still in use?, they are best fits for small bathrooms. how much are they going for?

In the above updates; seems pipes were used instead of H-Beams as the stands?
would that be stronger as H-beams and will it last as long as H beams?
On Solar-
- are special; dedicated wiring really required for the various appliances?
- can solar; phcn & gen be used same house?- if yes how many change over boxes is that?
Reason for above is I envisaged with prepaid meters it will no longer be economical to use phcn to charge inverters so solar will come handy
I will reserve other questions until you answer the intro questions you raised in post 118

Let me quickly say that NO part of the Hbeam will be in the concrete.
Let me draw it for you

The part i labeled 1 is the H beam. You will weld this to the Foundation Plate (use at least 5mm plate, 10mm is best but very scarce).

The foundation plate is the part i labeled 2

The part i labeled 3 are the ground bolts. They will be inside the concrete inside the ground. And their threaded tip will come out through the holes on the plate.

However; now have a new question!!
- This is like the way street light poles are done; my challenge with this method is that the point where '1' is welded with '2' sometimes it is quite easy for '1' to tear out of '2' leading to collapse.
More so it will be exposed to the elements (rain; sun & runoff water from the tank above).
perhaps after bolting '1' to '2' doing 'caping' with further concrete may be a solution??

2. what other ways can one know fake/genuine H beams
3. what is the standard height for tank stand for a bungalow
4. how to do the legs - what to watch out for; how to prevent rusting; how to ensure no tilt in future
5. pros/cons of dual tanks as against a bigger/same volume tank on top
6. to paint red oxide or silver/galvanised - pros/cons
7. do you do water treatment alongside or separate
etc.
when you have a willing teacher; students must not be unwilling to ask

This is the pump we will be using.
Grundfos Sqflex 2.5 (actually one out of over 13 series they have that can use solar power)

Arguable the best in the world.
My "parents" have been using one for over 20years now, never gave them any problem not even once.

Got three here from euxwell at GRA ikeja.

It can use solar power, battery and electricity from the main grid or generator.

Meaning it is a DC and AC pump all in one.

please can you give more details on cost and maintenance practises for this. will a single hole use all 3. is this industrial or domestic
