DRealGeesam:replied this but guessed network Thanks sir, GRATEFUL for last year. currently trying to run a prog which is taking time & resources from other things I will be doing a simple borehole (hand drill), good pump and strong stand soon. the solar powering will be much more later in the year. Thanks |
Oga Spyder & all followers; totally off topic but I want to ask a few questions about steel doors - can you fix a 4 inch frame door on a 9 inch block? - frame not adjustable - why do most doors when fixed (metal/steel doors) do not open full 180 degrees, most open 90-120 degrees at most; this makes it ackward for doors in-between two walls while only convenient for junction walls. - which is better for internal use - the shiny faced steel doors or the rough faced steel doors? - why do most steel doors have lock/handle challenges? Thank you and forgive my intrusion, its a fresh new year!! |
barakah:Thanks sir, I equally have that observation. However I believe there will be other indicators like packaging, name of maker, production codes, etc. Hopefully, our teacher will give us more signs to differentiate in the market. Thanks |
rotecch77:Ok sir, thanks since the teacher never travel go village; students will have to seat down! how about differentiating china & Italian tiles; what to look out for - ceramic & porcelain? from your end; I remembered reading somewhere that you do free delivery within Lagos sometimes back; what is the minimum order to qualify for same? |
rotecch77:Thanks sir, final question before the holidays how do you (from a layman's perspective) differentiate China from England ??Thanks |
rotecch77:academic question sir, there used to be smaller sized tywford basins which are not on pedestals but coupled to walls. are they still in use?, they are best fits for small bathrooms. how much are they going for? Thanks |
rotecch77:Nice!, beautiful!!, lovely!!!, how much (plus the tap)?? |

HsLBroker:no problem sir. i am no longer with the company that is why i want to give your details to the client to contact you directly sir. |
HsLBroker:Abijo is gone; the other is still available, will ask client to contact you directly sir. |

as at 15/12/2014 Dangote Cement is N1,900 @ Mowe, Ogun State. At least from 3 sources I went to. what is all the noise about N1,000 - N1,450 about? |
mufutau55:@ Hajji M., mufutau55 @ Spyder880 If I remembered very well sirs; in the recent lectures for this month our teacher promised to educate and inform us on the pricing/measuring/deciding/getting/determining and other "...ings" for the barbed wires. I have been patiently waiting for same and still waiting. thank you |
spyder880:oga spyder please can u do a price analysis for this. thanks |
. |
we are waiting sir!!! DRealGeesam: |
MissTeaseMe:not really; just a searching mind that met a patient teacher. I am sure a lot of silent people are really learning too. Thanks. |
DRealGeesam:In the above updates; seems pipes were used instead of H-Beams as the stands? would that be stronger as H-beams and will it last as long as H beams? On Solar- - are special; dedicated wiring really required for the various appliances? - can solar; phcn & gen be used same house?- if yes how many change over boxes is that? Reason for above is I envisaged with prepaid meters it will no longer be economical to use phcn to charge inverters so solar will come handy I will reserve other questions until you answer the intro questions you raised in post 118 thanks a lot sir |
DRealGeesam:i am grateful sir expect my questions too on this new topic thanks a lot sir |
DRealGeesam:we your humble students are waiting sir also summary for an hypothetical bungalow. manual drilling & stand sir thanks |
DRealGeesam:Thanks a lot. now understood. However; now have a new question!! - This is like the way street light poles are done; my challenge with this method is that the point where '1' is welded with '2' sometimes it is quite easy for '1' to tear out of '2' leading to collapse. More so it will be exposed to the elements (rain; sun & runoff water from the tank above). perhaps after bolting '1' to '2' doing 'caping' with further concrete may be a solution?? Thanks sir |
@ Hajji M. Please I prefer it this way. May sound selfish but it will be quickly derailed once on front page @DRealGeesam [quote author=DRealGeesam post=27298497]Both are good . Final question (before the examinations) sir; - having done all the above; can you now do a summary for a typical bungalow (i.e build/construct an hypothetical bungalow tank structure). - I noticed that the H Beam is 18ft; half will be 9ft and with 2ft in the ground this means only 7ft will be available for the tank; wont this be too low sir? - thanks for the spacing tips sir; did not realize that is a major issue until you pointed it out. - do you do water treatment alongside/incorporated or separate from the services offered. Thank you sir for your attention. |
DRealGeesam:Thanks a lot for the informative responses. please don't forget to do the detailed analysis for tank construction what to watch out for; etc for example: 1. can one use hollow pipes and fill same with cement/gravel for a bungalow instead of H beams?? 2. what other ways can one know fake/genuine H beams 3. what is the standard height for tank stand for a bungalow 4. how to do the legs - what to watch out for; how to prevent rusting; how to ensure no tilt in future 5. pros/cons of dual tanks as against a bigger/same volume tank on top 6. to paint red oxide or silver/galvanised - pros/cons 7. do you do water treatment alongside or separate etc. when you have a willing teacher; students must not be unwilling to ask thanks |
DRealGeesam:thanks. for normal phcn/gen pump. bungalow domestic use what is the going rate. also can u give a tutorial on pros / cons of motorised/manual and do you do both please thanks |
DRealGeesam:please can you give more details on cost and maintenance practises for this. will a single hole use all 3. is this industrial or domestic |
mufutau55: He means do you have and sell that type of WC/Hand Wash Basin all built together like that in his attached picture?@ Hajji - you will live long sir. Amen |
