We're 39 weeks today.
Somebody shout hallelujah!

I want to clarify something sha. There's this painful thing I feel since three days now. The thing kinda hooks me from the back of my neck, down to my waist, sort of like muscle pull. When it is happening, I notice I can see my bump changing shape and very strong. If it starts eh, e remain to cry. Don't know if it is contractions now
Then, I pass loose stool frequently, sometimes twice or thrice a day.
In all, I know it's happening soon. Can't wait to meet this perfect baby of mine

We are almost there dear, can't wait for your BA any longer.

For about a week now i feel pain on my left hand side of my belly. I also noticed that my bump is always aligned to the left side, it will be hard and strong will the right side has space and softer.

Been too strong since morning, severe headache held me down and i throw up everything I ate before I feel a bit relieved.

I trekked for about an hour the other day only to come back and my legs started shaking.

May the Lord make it swift & safe for us. Amen

Pls mamas, I keep on having this stomach ache like I want to poo since 4 days now. The first poo of the day is usually normal but the second is watery and then this stomach ache with the urge to poo. Someone said that itz because the baby is turning.

Pls experience mamas, is it something I should be worried about?

Good morning mommas, while I was bringing out cucumber from the nylon it was in, it fell from my hand and hit my baby(one side of his forehead). He was asleep when this happened. He didn't when move his body, he continued sleeping. I didn't touch him either.

And to think that I had imagined the cucumber falling on his head before the accident.

This happened on 15th Sept, he hasn't shown any abnormal sign. No bump, no bruise. He was 5 weeks when this happened.

Do I need to be worried? I will be seeing a Pediatrician on a different issue(catarrh) next Monday, 28th Sept. Should I relate it to him?

Any experience/suggestion?

Cucumbers doesn't carry much weight and didn't have much impact on him otherwise he would have cried or woken up when it happened. But there no harm in telling the doctor on your visit to check him too.

The garden egg leaves can be eaten raw.
As for Ugwu, she can juice out the water and mixed with malt drink.
She can also prepare as vegetables soup without liver .
She can prepare the ugwu to eat her rice.
Shr can add the ugwu to her beans.
She can add the ugwu to her pottage yam, plantain pottage etc.

In all let it not be over cooked.

Good morning everyone, Please I need advice. My wife has a low PCV of 26 and also has malaria based on blood test. The doctor recommended Lonart for the malaria and Dedeon HB 12 Syrup blood tonic . I saw online that that blood tonic shouldn't be taken during pregnancy but the doctor said it's okay . She's in the third trimester. I also want to confirm if there are specific foods she can be eating to boost her PCV. I've checked online for some but I will be glad if people in this forum can share their experiences and ideas. Thank you .

Garden eggs leaves pumps blood. Ugwu leaves too( she can use it to eat unripe plantain) let her diet be more of veggies.

The article said the DISCOs are not charging the full electricity tariffs currently but that will change from January 2021,they will by then now be charging the full electricity tarriffs. You are welcome.

But they have effected the increase on those using prepaid meters. You pay almost times three to get the same units of light.

Wow by God's grace we are 35weeks gone.

Sometimes while walking it feels as if a paint bucket of water was attached to lower abdomen and walking becomes a big issue so unlike my first where i started feeling such discomfort after hitting 37wk.

Baby should please be calming down for me till we enter 2nd week of October so that Dh would be home by then biko.

Babe boy, is always kicking hard and moving and mom to be is often in abdominal pain and cant sleep well at night.

Can anything be done. Cos am not comfortable seeing her in pains

Nothing can be done except to endure as she has started countdown, it will soon end in praise. Try changing position when the kicking is much.

My wife went for her antenatal today and we learnt our baby is in transverse position at 33.6days weeks (his head on the right side of his mother abdomen). Please, is there still chance of the baby turning head down and what should we do
I'm really scared.

Baby still has at least 5 weeks to change position.

My wife is 5weeks pregnant today and she noticed some light bleeding this morning. It has dropped like three times.(light bleeding like the pinch of salt). Prior to this, she had serious abdominal pain yesternight.
I would need you guys input. Thanks.

It could be implantation bleeding but it's better she see a doctor to be sure.

Sex during pregnancy is always the best for me. No worries of getting pregnant or menstruation palavar just to dey flex oneself as much as my strength can carry me. It helps me to relax afterwards and have good sleep.

It's bumpy Tuesday... here is us at 34weeks.
Bump is not big, just like the bump of some first timers... baby doesn't kick again but moves a lot... I guess the place is too small for him.... tired of waddling...Can't wait to hold him.

Very portable. We are almost there.

I went to see a dentist today and he said i should come for extraction of the tooth as there is hole inside the molars. He PRESCRIBED pcm and amoxicillin for me. I have started taking the medication but the pain has started coming back as i feel it most at night. And usually get relief during the day.


How safe is this extraction now.
